Chapter three: The love of a friend...
Almost two weeks have gone now. And my feelings haven't got any better. I still regretted what I'd said. Badly. More because Kouga still refused to talk to me, not even look at me would he. Why did it had to be so hard? I couldn't even tell me how sorry I was, he wouldn't believe me. For Kouga I was now his enemy.
I embraced myself, man it was cold, brrr... We were waiting in the airport for my dad. It was marts the 5th and today he was coming home. Yay, I've missed him great. He would then stay home till after the summer vacation, but that made me a bit sad. Cause soon I would begin on the boarding school, in the middle of marts, the 21th or so, I would move to get settled there with my stuff and to get to know the other students and teachers. To think of it made me sick. I want to stay. I want to be here, with Mena, Dad and with Kouga god damn. can be he hate me now, but just to see him makes me happy. After the settling and so, the teachers will show us what the school year brings up. Then we'll try it, and get to know each other better, get new friends and so, but not me I think. In my life I only had one true friend, but she's gone now. Not dead. She just left me.
Mena saw fathers plain and begun to run, i just followed giggling a bit of her behavior. She was sooo exited, after breakfast she used hours to get herself ready. Can be they are married, but she acted like it was first time they saw each other and they should on a date. She was just so sweet. Kouga wasn't here. He refused to come, he said he had business to do and taht dad wasn't his dad, so why wait for him? a bit cruel if you ask me, but I think he refused to come cause I were here. So he stayed home with Hiten. Remember I told Hiten had a crush on me? After that fuss with Kouga and Kagome not even Hiten would talk to me, not even look at me. Sigh, I know friendship means more than love, but it could be hard whatsoever.
After it all it seemed like Kagome and Sango began to trust me more, wierd, but true. They talked to me, existed I sat with them and came visiting and so. I couldn't belive it, what I had done made kouga and Hiten hate me, but gave me tha Oppotunity to get new friends. Yea, wierd. But I couldn't stop thinking of my old friend, that sweet girl, we did every thing together, and she was the first I told about my crush on Kouga. She had thought it for fun that I felt in love with my step brother, but had supported me anyways. I missed her a lot and wished she had chosed to stay, but she loved her parents and her mom had got a knew job in a different town, so she moved with, but that she hadn't contacted me hurts.
Her name meant adventerous, it was Bouken in Japanese. Very sweet name if you ask me. she had always remembered me of a fox, and i love foxes, almost as much as wolfes. I saw dad coming trough the gates and Mena over hugged him, I smiled, so sweet. But then my eyes felt on one of the stores in the airport, almost a stall, with stuff teddies. I went over to look, then I saw it, this cute little stuffed fox teddy. Oh it was so cute! It was all red and plushed, with black tipped ears and tail. I looked on the prize, it was cheap so I buyed it. I looked on it once again, when I suddenly got starlet by a deep voice.
"Oiii, ayame!" I squeked and turned around, it was Bankotsu? I blinked a few times and then smiled.
"Hello Ban-Kun, what are you doing here?" I saw him come closer and he smiled wide.
"I could ask you the same if it wasn't that i already know... heeh.." I blinked again.
"I work here Ayame," he then said.
"In the store over there..." He pointed on this big souvinire shop.
"Oh..." I replied and looked on my fox again. I suddenly remembered, Bouken my friend had have this huge crush on Bankotsu. I couldn't help smiling, could be he knew? No, never in life. It had been a huge secret too.
“What do you have there?” His voice startled me again and I jumped slightly.
“This?” I held my fox out for him to see, and he nodded slighty.
“That’s a stuff fox, I buyed cause it remembered me of bouken.” I looked at him out of the corney of my eye.
“Yea...” He smiled.
“She remembered me too of a fox... Her red hair ne?” he was right, she was a redhead just like me, her was just more...
“Firelike... The warm fire you seek when you alone...” WTF?! Is this guy a mind reader?! It was just what I thought of. Ceepy, but he was right, her warmth look and cheerish behavior, it could make the coldest day to summer. But why did he thought the same as me? This here sounds interesting, hmm.
“Say Ayame, where did you buy that?” Huh? Oh, I pointed on a the small teddy store.
“Over there, but it was the last one.” His eyes suddenly turned sad and his lips were parted in a silent “oh”. I suddenly felt sorry for him. It was wierd to see the Cool and playfull bankotsu like that.
“Ban-Kun, if you want you may have it, it’s a gift.” I waited for his reaction and he stared at me, surprised over my offer.
“You really wanna give it to me?” He sounded surprisingly happy. I smiled sweet and handed it to him. Then i gave him a teasy smile.
“you also look like you need it more than me.” I giggled when he blushed and pouted cute.
“Ayame...” He sighed and just smiled. There he was, now I could recornize him.
“But tell me Ban-Kun, why does you sound so sad when you talk about Bouk?” He blinked and gave me, ‘I did?’ look. I nodded and he gave me a soft smirk.
“Heh, I guess I...” He hesitated.
“I guess I miss her... A bit...” He looked down and turned sad again. Yea, for me it had always been that you first know what you have when you’ve lost it. It was exactly what I felt when Bouken left, but if she and I had known his feelings, I’m sure she would have stayed. They would have been an adoreable pair.
”You’re a shithead!!” Oups! It shouldn’t had sound that furious. But i think I yelled. I could see the shock in his eyes and I quick murmured a ‘sorry...’ But he derserved it, right out of the bag!
“I mean...” I sighed.
”If you’ve missed her that means you like her ne?” I saw his blush again, and he nodded slightly.
“Then you should have told!! Well at least me! Then Bouk would still had been here! She had the huged crush on you!! Man your idiot!!” Woah!! Calm down, don’t just blutter!! But it looked like my words hit him really hard. Then he looked confused, shocked and flattered all the same time.
“S-She had?!” Man, his blush turned from pink to red. How fun to see. I nodded hard and took his shoulders under my palms.
“But I think it’s a bit too late... since she moved I havn’t heard a word from her. I’m sorry, but I guess she have moved on with her life. It’s anyways two years since now.” I looked apologizing on him and he looked down and sighed soft.
“can be, but if she had this ‘huge’ crush on me, I guess she havn’t forgot me all.” He smiled and moved my hands a bit. I blinked a few times and smiled back.
“If you say, just don’t give up the hope then!* I winked and nodded short. Then Mena called and I told him that if I against all possibel reasons should hear from her i would let him know. We then said good bye and I ran back to Mena and dad and got overhugged.
I have decided to help him. Then I mean he deserves a chance and I had always wished for those two to find each other, and if I could be a part of that I wont let that chance go. We went back home and I took a shower, I decided to let my hair air dry and went to my pc. When i turned it on i got a surprise. There was a mail.
