“They’re late…” Kagome said looking at her watch
“Eh… they’re always late…” Sango said eating a sandwich.
“Oh! They’re here!” Kagome said pointing at two figures jogging towards them. “Where have you two been?!”
“What? It’s 3:30 what’s your problem!?”
“It’s not 3:30 it’s 3:35!” Kagome shouted at Inuyasha
“Oh come on! Five minutes!!” Inuyasha shouted back
“Okay, okay calm down, we got here didn’t we?” Miroku said putting his hands up and trying to calm the two. They were constantly fighting, but nothing so drastic that would ruin their friendship.
“Yeah…” Sango said still munching on her sandwich. “Now… are we gonna study or what?”
“Yeah… Mr. Dunn’s class is the hardest so I think we should start with that” Kagome said taking out her Spanish book.
“I can’t believe how hard Spanish is!” Miroku replied also taking his book out and sitting beside Sango on the bench.
“And Sesshoumaru wouldn’t even help us…” He said looking at his brother, sitting with his own friends who were laughing about something and looking their way. Kagome frowned.
“What’s their problem?” She said glaring at them. Miroku turned and saw Naraku grinning at him from the table and the monk quickly turned away his cheeks were glowing a bright red. Inuyasha sat next to Miroku and saw that he was blushing.
“Now what’s your problem?” Inuyasha asked looking at his face.
“No… nothing” Inuyasha glanced back at Sesshoumaru’s friends who laughed even harder now and he placed a hand on Miroku’s shoulder.
“Are they laughing at you?” He asked as Kagome and Sango both looked at Miroku who looked very embarrassed. Miroku didn’t answer the question but just looked down. Kagome was pissed now, no one makes fun of her friend. She jumped up and started marching toward them.
“No Kagome! Don’t!” Miroku said trying to stop her, but she yanked away and stomped to them. Naraku watched her come near as well as Sesshoumaru but the others were too busy laughing to even notice the young girl.
“What are you laughing at!?” She yelled as everyone turned to her direction.
“What’s it to you?” one of them sneered
“You are laughing and looking at our table, any idiot can see what you’re trying to do” Inuyasha’s table was staring at Kagome and her braveness.
“And an idiot did see!” Another one laughed.
“Only a gay guy would let a woman come and defend him” another cracked up
“You’re making fun of Miroku just because he’s gay! He has feelings you immature bastards we’re in college you aren’t supposed to act like you’re in high school anymore!” She yelled infuriated by their immaturity.
“I’m sure he has feelings…ooo how delicate” Kagome huffed and stormed off.
“Hey ask him how his ass feels” the first one called after her and they all started laughing once again. Kagome plopped down on the bench and crossed her arms.
“You didn’t have to do that Kagome…” Miroku said quietly as Inuyasha patted his shoulders and brought him towards himself.
“They are sure to know I’m gay too… I wonder why they only wanted to pick on Miroku” Inuyasha said looking at them.
“They wouldn’t dare, not when Sesshoumaru’s around.” Sango said looking at the tall demon. “He may not like his brother but no one will make fun of his family” they nodded in agreement.
“Can we just get back to studying please” Miroku murmured trying to block out the laughter. They nodded and began studying.

Yeah, people can be mean sometimes... it's just nature but can sometimes do more harm than one thinks... well hope you liked this chappy even tho i'm being mean to Miroku...
