Stalker?

Chapter 3

The ground shook. “What on earth?!” cried Inuyasha. Sesshoumaru grunted. After a while everything quieted down and went back to normal. ‘I wonder what that was all about.’ thought Inuyasha.

Suddenly, Sesshoumaru steps away from his brother. Without a word he runs into the direction of where the noise came from. All Inuyasha could do was stare after his older brother, then as his senses came back he soon followed afterward.

As the two raced through the forest to see what all the commotion was about Inuyasha tried to catch up to his brother.

‘Grr what the hell was that about?! It was like Sesshoumaru was about to kiss me! But he’d never do that! NEVER! And besides I don’t want him to kiss me. If he did I’d punch his lights out!.... Or would I? Argh! Now is not the time to think about that!’

As Inuyasha argued with himself and thought of what could have happened between him and his brother, he flushed. ‘No no no no no! Stop it! That could never happen!’

Sesshoumaru looked back to see the flushed hanyou and smirked. Seeing his smirk Inuyasha became furious and quickened his pace.

~back at the campsite~


“Where is he?!” asked Kagome. “He must have fallen asleep in a tree or something, Kagome stop worrying so much!” said Songo who was starting to worry.

“Now now ladies, I’m sure that Inuyasha will come back soon. All we have to do is wait a little longer and I’m sure that he’ll turn up.” said Miroku who was finishing up a bag of potato chips that Kagome brought with Shippo.


~back in the forest~

As Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru neared their destination they were able to see a large serpent-like demon attacking a village.

“So that’s what’s making all this racket, huh?” said Inuyasha who was ready to draw his sword.

“Hmm...” said Sesshoumaru. Then as they neared the demon, Inuyasha drew his sword. ‘Stupid demon…interrupting me and Sessho-…..wait…WHAT THE HELL AM I THJNKING!? I SHOULD BE THANKING THE DEMON!’ thought Inuyasha as he slowed his pace.

Meanwhile, Sesshoumaru, who was in front of Inuyasha squinted his eyes in the serpent demon’s direction. ‘That scent….Rin...’ and as Sesshoumaru thought this his finger-tips glowed a bright gold. He bared his teeth and quickened his pace, leaving Inuyasha behind in his tracks.

‘Wha-? What is he doing?’ wondered a confused hanyou. Inuyasha moved faster as to keep up with his brother. Sesshoumaru on the other hand was racing towards Rin’s scent hoping to find her.

~at the campsite~

“Did you hear that?” asked Shippo. “Huh? What are you talking about Shippo? Hear what?” asked Kagome who was rolling up her sleeping-bag.

“That boom! I think its coming from that village! See the smoke?!” Shippo pointed to the direction of the smoke. “Hmm I sense a demon’s presence….Kagome can you sense a shard of the Shikon jewel?” asked Miroku.

“I..well…hold on…yeah! I do! In fact I think I sense two shards!” exclaimed Kagome. “Well I guess that’s where we’re headed next.” Muttered Songo as she scurried to a nearby bush so that she could change into her demon-slayer outfit.

“Monk! I swear if you even try peeking at me I’ll chop off your head and feed it to a stray demon on a silver platter!” threatened Songo. “Oh come now Songo do I really seem like the type to peek at a woman while she is undressing?” asked an insincere Miroku.

“Do you really want an answer to that?” asked Shippo and Kagome while rolling their eyes. “Ehehe..erm..nevermind…” Miroku answered, sweat dropping. “Yeah we thought so…” said Kagome and Shippo with knowing smiles on their faces.

~at the village~

“ARGH! Take this demon!” yelled Inuyasha as he sliced the serpent demon in half. Then, the demon regenerated and hissed. “WHAT?!” Inuyasha yelled evident rage in his voice. “Calm down Inuyasha.” Stated a calm Sesshoumaru.

Sesshoumaru found Rin and Jaken hiding in a field of tall grass not too far from a river near the village. “Lord Sesshoumaru isn’t that your younger brother Lord Inuyasha?” asked Rin.

“RIN! You do not need to call him ‘Lord Inuyasha’ for he is not a lord!” stated an annoyed Jaken. Rin just looked at Jaken curiously. She called Inuyasha “lord” because she thought that if Inuyasha was Lord Sesshoumaru’s brother then she must show him the same respect.

When Rin stated what she thought aloud Jaken just sighed and decided to let it go. ‘That girl has an odd way of thinking’ thought Jaken who looked at Rin who was standing behind Sesshoumaru gazing up at the serpent demon and at the enraged hanyou.

‘Honestly that idiot gets upset over the most foolish things’ thought Sesshoumaru lazily. The fight went on and it looked like Inuyasha was winning and even before Inuyasha finished off the demon, Sesshoumaru started walking away taking Rin, Jaken, and Ah Un with him.

“Eh? Where is Sesshoumaru going now?” Inuyasha said aloud. Then, Sesshoumaru turned around, met the hanyou’s eyes, smirked, and walked away. “HUH?! Wha-?! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ALL ABOUT!?” Inuyasha said his anger again building.

“Hmph! I don’t know what the hell’s wrong with him” mumbled Inuyasha with a scowl. Just then, a small package fluttered toward him. “What the fu-?” Inuyasha was cut off when on the package was a small bunch of wildflowers. Included with the flowers was an envelope (A/N or something like an envelope. I think you know what I’m talking about.) On the envelope read: To my dearest little brother

“Huh… interesting…” then, Inuyasha opened the envelope with caution and curiosity. What was inside surprised him. Inside was a letter that said:

Dear Inuyasha,
I hope the wildflowers are to your liking. A little past the mountain near the village where you had slain the serpent demon is a valley and hot springs. Meet me there two moons from now. I hope to see you there.

Sesshoumaru

Inuyasha’s eyes widened in shock and then confusion. “What is this about?” asked Inuyasha in the open air. 'Well whatever it is, I suppose that I’ll have to wait till we meet.' Inuyasha thought a little spaced out.


A/N: O.o huh…well…what IS this all about?...interesting..no? Hehehehe sorry it took so long for chapter 3 to come out…my dad busted my computer and I couldn’t find my precious floppy!

Rin: Woooow Lord Inuyasha got flowers from Lord Sesshoumaru!!!

Jaken: Be quiet Rin!

Author: yes he does…but Inuyasha doesn’t seem too happy about it…

Inuyasha: OF COURSE I DON’T YOU STUPID BITCH!

Author: *stares at Inuyasha not fazed at all* Inuyasha, *smiles evilly* you do know that I can make you do anything I want in my story riiiiiight? heehee

Inuyasha: uh..erm.* Inuyasha breaks into a cold sweat* well…I su..suppose so..

Author: good.. now, be quiet or else I’ll make you do something you will very much regret...for example I can make you
*starts talking about what horrible (or not) things that can be done or that Inuyasha can do*hehehehe oh yesssssss…..*starts laughing manically while Inuyasha sits in the corner of the room in a scared cold sweat*
