Set me free

To Tom: I do not know if I will have the others in the story (Kouga is
mentioned and Kaede is there) but I do not know about the others. I just write
along, doing what my imagination tells my fingers :)

Part 3

Inuyasha could not let this lovely flower of the forest disappear from his life,
he needed her, he needed her more than life itself. Or so his subconscious mind
told him. He listened to the old miko telling the story about how her sister
Kikyo had been deceived and killed. It hurt him, he admitted that much. He had
felt affection for Kikyo, but she had never returned his feelings so in the end
he had agreed to become human for her. Now it felt like the destiny had this
figured out. He had just been sleeping, only to be awakenn thn the arms of his
soul mate. “Yes, that’s it, she is my soul mate. That is why I feel this
closeness, this bond, with her.” he congratulated himself on that one and he
buried his face in her golden red hair, breathing in her flowery scent.

Ayame felt her blush deepen when she heard him sniff her again and to see the
old miko's soft smile did not do her any good either.

Inuyasha, I want you to let me go now, I have somewhere else to be, she said.
“Ha, right, you have abandon your tribe and mountains because of that baka wolf
you thought you would mate with.”

stay with me…. mate, purred Inuyasha.

the hell are you talking about puppy?

Inuyasha growled and nipped at her shoulder, biting down enough to get her to
submit to him. Then it struck him that he did not know her name and he let go of
her.

Little one,
what is your name? he asked and used a clawed hand to turn her face against his.

-         
You call me
mate before knowing my name, well that is nice, she snarled.

-         
Tell me!

No!

-         
Wench!

Jerk!

Bitch!

Mate!

hanyou!

Inuyasha smiled and kissed her lightly on the lips, once again he had caught her
off guard and he was able to slip his tongue into her mouth again. He watched
her close her eyes and relax ithe the kiss, tenderly touching his tongue with
her own.

Kaede chuckled lightly and that caught the attention of the cuddling pair. She
handed them some food and she looked at the wolf and wondered how red a person
actually could get.

They ate under silence and when they were finished Inuyasha stood up and took
Ayame with him, his hands never left her waist. He bowed his head slightly
towards the old miko.

Kaede-obaasan, it was the best food I ever had, but if you will excuse us now.

Of course
Inuyasha-chan, smiled the miko and saw the small blush on the hanyou’s cheeks.
The little suffix to his name was not what he expected.

the food miko-sama, said Ayame and bowed her head.

Please, call
me Kaede; it works just fine, said Kaede. I hope I will see you two soon again.
And Inuyasha, my hut is always open for you and your mate.

Ok, can we
cut the crap about this mate-thing? I am NOT his MATE!! screamed
Ayame and wiggled to get out of the hanyou’s embrace.

Well, unless 
you tell me your name, mate is what I will be calling you, purred Inuyasha
darkly and held her tighter to his form.

She
growled and snorted ae sae same time and earned a small laughter from the hanyou
behind her which made her growl even more.

Well let’s
go. And Kaede-obaasan, if I hear anything about the jewel I will come back and
tell you about it, ok?

Thank you
Inuyasha-chan, said Kaede and saw the hanyou haul up the shrieking female into
his arms and he took off into the forest.

“My, my, Inuyasha, you are eager to tame this wild flower are you not?”
She chuckled and returned inside her hut again.
