Chapter 27
Inuyasha and Kouga fought back to back kicking ass like they always did while also getting their asses whooped a bit in the process. Inuyasha knew that Sesshoumaru was going to be completely pissed if he found out he was in the battle, but right now was not the time to give a damn about it.
Togaou and Luna’s powers had returned and although outnumbered they were putting up quite the fight. Togaou had no sword to fight with since he gave his sons both his swords and his Sou’unga was in hell where it belonged. Therefore it was a lot of hand to hand combat making this battle lengthy until he used his youkai powers to produce dragon strike. Bodies went flying everywhere, but it wasn’t enough to slow the cats down for long.
“Inuyasha get out of the fray!”
Togaou ordered when he saw Inuyasha fall again as a cat demon punched his jaw sending him across the forest. Inuyasha just shook his head and got up to rush back into the battle.
Kouga took the hint and dragged a kicking and screaming pregnant Inuyasha off the battlefield.
Luna used her powers and produced blades of blood and iron reaper soul stealer. Every Inu demon had the ability to use these powers although Luna’s were much more proficient and her light whip of poison acid also was used in full effect killing off several cat demons.
Togaou at that moment felt the wind change as Inuyasha produced the wind scar at the demons that were chasing them.
“I thought I told that boy to stay out of this!”
Togaou growled. Luna laughed.
“He listens about as well as Sesshoumaru did as a young man. They always think they know best.”
Togaou scowled and continued fighting wondering where the hell Sesshoumaru was. They sure could use the help at a time like this.

Sesshoumaru pulled Chise into the water deciding that drowning her would be easiest after all. He thought about so many ways to kill the bitch, but none seemed to be suitable.
“Lord Sesshoumaru wait, you don’t understand….it wasn’t my plan it was that witch Kamarasui.”
Chise stated begging for her life. Sesshoumaru snorted.
“I will find her soon enough and deal with the bitch. You on the other hand shall die by my hand now. I do not normally strike women, but you are an exception.”
The cat demon found her arms were tied behind her back and her feet were also tied.
“Please……….ugggggg………”
Sesshoumaru dumped the woman under the water for a few seconds then pulled her back up.
“Tell me where I can find this witch and I will make your death quick.”
Chise had no idea where Kamarasui went, but she did know where her home was located.
“I don’t know where she is……..I just know where her home is…….”
Sesshoumaru growled.
“Then you are of no use to me.”
Pushing her back under the water Chise struggled only to be pulled up again and then dunked again. This occurred several times until Chise came up spitting up blood after Sesshoumaru rammed his fist through her stomach.
“Please…….don’t kill me……….”
Chise gurgled out. Sesshoumaru just looked down at the cat and dropped her into the water for the last time.
“Swim, if you can.”
Chise was pulled along the fast moving river as the under tow pulled her down then popped her back up like a cork.
Sesshoumaru figured he would wander down the river to make sure the cat was dead later. Right now he had to figure out how to get his Mother out of the barrier and kill this Fusao character. He needed Inuyasha and somehow had to make it past that battle to get to his mate before it was too late.
