A Fine Mess

Togaou ignored the tingling sensations as he felt around the barrier. The walls of the cave were completely demolished by both he and Luna as they searched for a hole somewhere in the barrier. There had to be a weakness somewhere.

Luna looked down at her hands. They were bruised, but healing again after punching through rock to try to get out. This barrier though was like a giant dome and seemed to grow each time a wall was removed.

“We will have to try to go underneath as you sated dearest. I just hope it doesn’t expand outward again.”

Togaou tried to change into his true form only to find himself stuck in his humanoid form.

“Blast it all to hell!”

Luna sighed and wrinkled her nose as she tried to pour her acid into the ground.

“I would almost rather die of the fumes of our acid then be stuck in here for all eternity with this stench. It seems we only have our brute strength though Togaou.”

The ground itself was solid rock and Togaou punched over and over again until his hands started to bleed.

“Togaou stop it!”

Luna growled as she pulled her husband up from the ground looking at his hands.

“I promised we would get out of here and I meant it woman.”

Togaou snarled as he tried to pull his hands away from his wife who was examining the damage.

“Let our son handle this one Togaou. If he does not come we will continue, but you will have to heal for weeks if you keep going. Now, come and sit with me so I can heal your wounds.”

Togaou frowned as his wife pulled him back to the corner of the room and then started licking his wounds. He wasn’t a damn weakling and he would be damned if some fucking barrier kept him from freeing his wife so he could get his revenge.

“Luna we haven’t time for this……..”

Togaou stated with a frown.

“We have time. They will not go far. They are waiting to capture our son.”

Togaou laughed.

“The fools are dead….”

Touga then thought about Sesshoumaru’s nature. Would his son be so enraged he would forget to ask where his Mother was? His sons were such hot heads that he wondered if waiting was such a great idea after all.

“Yes and I can read your thoughts dear. Sesshoumaru will ask about us. He is a lot more level headed then you give the boy credit for.”

Touga frowned.

“I hope you are right Luna……I hope you are right.”

Sesshoumaru teleported as quickly as he could to the cat’s lair. In a ball of white fury he blew up the ship that was to take his family’s possessions.

“Damn him!”

Chise growled as she grabbed Kamarasui and pointed at the Inu.

“Curse him and collar him immediately!”

Kamarasui called upon her powers and soon Sesshoumaru was encased in a barrier. Sesshoumaru snarled and clawed at the inside, but it was too late. His temper got the best of him and now he was once again collared.

“Damn you to hell!”

Sesshoumaru snarled as he pulled at the collar.

“The spell is stronger this time so I doubt it will break.”

Kamarasui stated firmly as she removed the barrier. Sesshoumaru fell to the ground only to find he could not get up again.

“Hello handsome……..”

Chise purred as she got closer to the male Inu she was going to sell to the sex slave market.

Inuyasha growled at Kouga the whole way through the woods. Kouga kept insisting they go back and wait for Sesshoumaru, but Inuyasha refused accusing Kouga of being on Sesshoumaru’s side.

“If you want to run away with your tail between your legs then do so without me. I ain’t changing my mind you flea bitten pain in my ass. I tell ya that my mate is up to no good. I just know he is doing something to piss me off on purpose.”

Kouga shook his head. Inuyasha was being crazy. Maybe it was this hormone change thing that beta’s go through.

“Look mutt, I told ya I ain’t gonna leave you on your own, but I still say you shouldn’t be out here on your own like this.”

Inuyasha looked Kouga in the face and growled.

“I ain’t on my own. I have Shippo with me and my sword. I am fine without any help from anyone.”

Kouga looked at Shippo.

“And how is he supposed to help exactly?”

Inuyasha patted his sword and smirked.

“I got someone to protect so my sword is stronger than ever. It was Kagome, now it is Shippo and the pups. See got everything covered. I should really be running things not Sesshoumaru. He says ‘I protect no one!’ like that is useful. I guess he doesn’t protect his own ass either and that is why we have to find him. He is probably lost out here or he is fucking around. You don’t know Sesshoumaru like I do. The guy is a secret letch and I am going to catch him in the act.”

Shippo rolled his eyes and Kouga sighed as they trudged along the trail only to meet up at a mess of a castle ahead.

“Wonder what happened there.”

Inuyasha shrugged.

“It is Sesshoumaru’s Mom’s house so Sesshoumaru probably got pissed off and killed a bunch of people. It is no wonder that their castles are a mess. Sesshoumaru destroys everything I swear it. The asshole better be here to or I am going to kick his ass.”

Shippo smacked his head with his hand at the stupidity of Inuyasha and Kouga just sighed as they kept walking towards the mess that was Queen Luna’s castle.
