A New Scheme

"Hey Kagome, what took you so long?" Inuyasha asked as he jumped down out of a tree near the village.
"Sorry I couldn't get away." Kagome looked around "where is everybody?"
"Sango headed out already, we're to meet her at the entrance to the next village over the mountain where a demon with a shard of shikon jewel is supposedly reeking havic."
"Where's Shippo and Miroku? Are they with Sango as well?"
"Well yes and no?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well yesterday we battled a demon and the monk injured himself."
"Is he alright?"
"Yea, just some bruised ribs and such he said he wanted to stay here until he was fully healed."
"That's probably for the best."
"Hey Kagome..."
"What?"
"Uh...nothing come on lets go."
Kagome watched him walk off. "What was he going to say?" Kagome asked herself as she followed Inuyasha.

Akira looked out amongst the wilderness from where she stood by the well. "Where could Kagome be? She's got a lot of explaining to do for me? Where the hell am I?" Akira asked herself as she wandered through the forest looking for Kagome.
Akira came to a river in the forest. She leaned up against a boulder resting herself she walked a good couple miles from the well she came out of. "Damn my insane curiousity! If it wasn't for that I wouldn't be lost here in who knows where! Well since I'm here I might as well make the best of it. That water's probably ice cold."
Akira looked around for a bit before she started removing some of her clothes and walking into the river.
Meanwhile not far from her Miroku was soaking his soar muscles in the river.
Miroku heard someone talking to themselves not far off from where he was at. He slowly moved his way through the water carfully to see who or what it was. He peeked behind a boulder to see a young woman undressing.
Miroku hid back behind the boulder as she waded in the water. She was now on the other side of the boulder. Miroku realized it was just the two of them out here, he decided to make himself known, maybe he coudl get lucky this time and this madien would bare his children.
Miroku stood up and was about to place his hand on her shoulder. Probably not the best way to make himself known to the girl but then again being a man he didn't think things through. Before his hand could even touch her shoulder he felt a hand grab him and flipped him over landing on his back in the water with a splash.
Akira straddled his chest and pulled his head up an angry glare on her face. Miroku was a bit confused most women once they know there's a peeping tom about would grab there clothes or something. But she was nude and sitting on his chest, he wasn't sure whether to be thrilled or concerned.
"Who the hell are?" Akira asked in a threatening tone.
"Um....I..." Miroku tried to speak but this woman was making it difficult by sitting on his bruised ribs and now his back hurt. He looked up at her face and really freaked she looked similar to Kagome with a few minor details.
"Answer me!"
Miroku still couldn't find his voice as he could see every inch of her in the moonlight. He then felt her fist make contact with his facea few times. "Creep!" Akira said as she got off of him and got out of the river to grab her clothes and quickly dressed herself in front of Miroku.
Miroku held his face as he noticed she put something in her pocket. He realized what it was one of the shards of the jewel. He decided to follow her at a safer distance so as not to get beaten up.

Akira headed back in the same direction she had come. A little angry because of that peeping tom. Ok no she really wasn't concerned that the young man had seen her naked body she didn't have a problem with that. She just didn't like being surprised like that. She'll admit she has certain problems that's why her parents put her in boot camp and military school to try and set her straight. All that did was make her tough and think she could take anyone on.
She stopped by the well. "This is where I came out of maybe it can take me back."
She was about to jump down the well again when she seen something coming out of the forest wearing baboon fur.
"What now?"
Before she knew it the thing stood before her. "How'd you do that?"
"Do what?" the man asked.
"I could of sworn you were farther away."
"Eyes can be decieving can't they."
"What do you want? I'm going home so if you'll excuse me."
"You have a shard of the shikon jewel?"
"What?"
"The Jewel shard."
Akira pulled the shard out from her pocket. "You mean this thing?"
"Yes."
Akira laughed at the thought. "You're telling me this is part of the Jewel of four souls?"
"Thats correct hand it over."
"What do you want with it?"
"To gain more power for myself now hand it over don't make me use force."
"What's in it for me if I give it to you?"
"What would you like in return?"
"Well for starters you can tell me who you are I like to know who i'm doing business with."
"My name is Naraku. Come we have much to discuss."
"Wow back off there! I'm not that easy. Don't make me give you the same treatment I gave the guy in the river."
"I have no interest in that with you. But its faster to move if you come into my arms."
"yeah I've heard that line before."
Naraku grabbed her and before she could protest they were off. Akira was astonished at how fast he moved nobody could move that fast. She was starting to feel sick as she saw patches of green fly by.

Miroku watched and notice the young girl was taken by Naraku. Probably just beacuse she carried a piece of the Shikon Jewel. That girl was going to need help rescuing, though she seemed capable of handling herself like she did in the river. But how would she do against a demon and not just any demon either.
Miroku headed in the direction of where the others were off battling a snake demon.
