Blood Roses

Chapter 2

Kagome, Sango, and Rin were once again weaving through traffic. Sango and Rin trailing behind her, with worried expressions on their faces. Kagome stopped by the hospital for a second to comfort her mother and explain that she was about to handle the problem and not to worry. Also, mentioning that she wouldn't be home for about one to two months and told her that her friend Ryo would be coming by to pick up her clothes for her. After, they were away from her mother Kagome, stopped them and waited for the questions that she knew were coming.

“Kags, why did Sesshomaru and you leave school together earlier? Why, did we go to Sesshomaru for help? Why did you kiss Sesshomaru and are the two of you together?”

Kagome took a deep breath before answering.

“We left school because I was horny as hell. We went to him for help because I trust him with my life. I kissed him because I'm falling in love with him.”

The last answer was scarcely above a whisper. Sango and Rin was shocked to say the least. Kagome had always been cold and distance toward everyone who wasn't in the gang or a part of her family. Kagome wasn't always that way though, her father was the cause of her drastic personality change. He would beat her until, she could barely stand up anymore. He even went as far as to rape her on her 15th birthday. That was the day Kagome decided to never be weak again in the eyes of any man. She trained day in an day out, stayed away from home for weeks at a time, and she started her gang. But, one day she came home to find him beating on Souta and snapped. Pulling her ever-faithful silver desert eagle from the small of her back Kagome pointed the gun at her father. Her voice hard and her hand steady.

“Let Souta go right now.”

“What you gonna do Kagome, you gonna kill me. Your not strong enough to kill me. Your nothing but a weak little girl. You couldn't even stop me from fucking you senseless on your birthday.”

“LET HIM GO. I'M NOT THE SAME LITTLE GIRL YOU RAPED ON HER 15TH BIRTHDAY YOU SICK SON OF A BITCH. NOW LET HIM GO.”

He let Souta go and he ran to Kagome hugging her around her waist tears streaming from his eyes. Kagome's eyes stayed locked with her fathers'. The look she gave him could have frozen over hell.

“You're a sick son of a bitch and you'll never hurt us again.”

That was the first time Kagome killed anyone and she never even flinched. Just looked at his dead body with cold fury in her eyes. Neither her or Souta went to the funeral and nobody understood why. Nobody knew the truth about Gensyi Higurashi's death, only that his children didn't come to his funeral and wouldn't cry for him. Mrs. Higurashi didn't understand why her husband died only that Kagome killed him. Their relationship went down hill from their, but that only served to make Kagome colder and more distant.

Over the years as Souta and Kagome got older they grew closer until Souta himself had a gang as well. Souta went to the high school a couple of blocks from Kagome's high school. Souta was only two years younger than Kagome, but he never treated her like he was going to kick her ass when he got bigger because he knew she would always support him and have his back if anything ever went down that he and his gang didn't understand. But, Souta wasn't stupid by far he was well built was very also very well known. People would often refer to both his gang and Kagome's gang together was the death dealer's. Souta made sure that everyone in his gang would join and listen to Kagome if anything ever happened to him and Kagome was about to test this as she headed toward the gangs hangout place.

Kagome was snapped out of her thoughts of the past as they pulled up outside Souta's hideout. She told Rin and Sango to stay close and to not draw their guns unless she told them to.

“Rin, Sango, I want you to stay here with Souta's gang, while I deal with Naraku.”

“But, Kagome we're family, which means if somebody hurts you they hurt us. We're in this together no matter what, you aren't doing this alone.”

Sango nodded her head in agreement with Rin. Kagome smiled at her friends before walking into the old warehouse. Upon entering about twenty guns were pointed at them. Kagome know she would have to show them that she meant business and wasn't going to put up with their attitude and disrespect. Kagome waved her hand as though to dismiss them and found that all of their weapons were snatched from their hands. Kagome stopped and stared at her hands in shock. She had no idea what was going on, but she would go with it until she did. Stepping up Kagome pulled down the waist of her pants until all of Souta's gang members could see the tattoo that she had there. It was a tattoo of a dagger piercing a heart the had the letters “DD” in it with droplets of blood falling on to a rose. They all dropped down to their knees upon seeing the tattoo signifying that she was Kagome, Souta's older sister and leader of the gang the “Rose Blades”.

“RAISE. Now tell me do any of you know what happened to Souta?”

They all shook their heads no. But, knew it had to be serious if she was here like this.

“Naraku took him somewhere and attacked him. He has a busted lip, two black eyes, six broken ribs, and a broken leg.”

An angry cry filled the warehouse. They all felt the same and was about to go get their weapons so that they could hunt down Naraku, but were stopped.

“Naraku is mine and if I find out any of you has left this warehouse before I get back I will kill you slowly and painfully. Is that understood?”

They all nodded in understanding.

“Now my gang is on their way here and you will treat them with respect, especially my friends Sango and Rin who are standing behind me. I'll be back within a couple of days, if I'm not back in two days Sango is to lead this gang and the two gangs will merge into one until Souta gets out of the hospital.”

Kagome turned and walked toward her bike, than starting the engine disappeared in a cloud was white smoke. It was time for Naraku to pay for what he did to Souta and who ever got in her way was going down. Kagome walked into the diner were Naraku was and pointed her gun at him. He never looked up from his plate when he spoke.

“Kagome, I knew it wouldn't be long before you came looking for me. Tell me how is Souta doing. Or should I say Sesshomaru since I can still smell his disgusting scent all over you. But, judging from the slightly confused face your giving me I can tell you haven't figured it out yet.”

“What are you talking about Naraku?”

“Me, Inuyasha, and your precious Sesshomaru are demons, Kagome. But, I guess Sesshomaru didn't think you were special enough to be told the truth about his and Inuyasha's heritage. In case you were wondering they're dog demons and I'm a spider demon.”

“YOU LYING SON OF A BITCH, I'M GONNA KILL YOU NICE AND SLOW. SESSHOMARU WOULDN'T LIE TO ME LIKE THAT.”

“Are you sure that he's been telling you the truth or has he been lying to you the whole time you've been sleeping together?”

“FUCK YOU NARAKU. HE WOULDN'T LIE TO ME LIKE THAT. BUT, I DIDN'T COME HER E TO TALK ABOUT SESSHOMARU. WHY DID YOU DO IT WHY DID YOU GO AFTER MY BROTHER.”

“I went after him, so I could get to you Kagome.”

Kagome was in shock at all the information. Kagome's emotions had made up their mind though and they wanted him dead because he had attacked Souta and that's what they were gonna get. Kagome's eyes began to glow a dark red as she created a bow and arrow from the destructive demon and miko energy inside her combined. Naraku looked at her in fear and quickly released the poison miasma from his body as he and his gang made a quick escape unseen by anyone. Kagome pulled her energy back and slammed her fist through the walk.

“DAMN THAT SON OF A BITCH GOT AWAY.”

Kagome pulled out her phone an called Rin's cell.

“What's up Kags.” She knew it was to soon for her to be calling to say Naraku's dead.

“Get everyone packed up and ready to go. Move out when I send you the page with the address to the place I want you to go.”

“Okay,Kags.”

Hanging up her phone Kagome was heading toward Sesshomaru's place. They were gonna have a serious problem when she got there if she didn't hear what she needed and wanted to hear. Walking up to the front door Kagome didn't even knock she knocked the door right off its hindges her energies its burning just beneath the surface waiting to be released. The servants scurried away from her in fear. Kagome walked straight to Sesshomaru's office she could smell him strongest in that room and could feel his aura inside the room. She knocked this door down as well to see Sesshomaru and Inuyasha talking. Both sets of eyes snapped to her as she walked in, their conversation forgotten.

“WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN OUR HOUSE WENCH? GET THE FUCK OUT, NOW.”

“WHY DID N'T YOU TELL ME SESSHOMARU. DID YOU THINK I WASN'T SPECIAL ENOUGH OR WAS I ONLY GOOD ENOUGH TO FUCK. I HAVEN'T HIDDEN ANYTHING FROM YOU.”

“GET THE FUCK OUT, BITCH.”

“Shut up Inuyasha and leave my office right now.”

“Now that Inuyasha's gone, you have lied to me. An my being a demon was something I wanted to discuss with you tomorrow. But, yes I am a demon and yes Inuyasha is a demon as well. But, he's only half-demon or hanyou.”

“WHAT DID I LIE ABOUT OR HIDE FROM YOU SESSHOMARU?”

“You didn't tell me you're an dark elemental inu miko youkai or that your carrying my pup.”

“WHAT THE HELL IS A DARK ELEMENTAL INU MIKO YOUKAI AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M CARRYING YOUR PUP?”

“You're a dark elemental inu miko, Kagome. How did you not kno……”

Sesshomaru stopped in mid sentence. It just hit him why Kagome didn't know about her heritage and why he had been sensing strange energies from her lately. He turned to face her completely, before speaking.

“Kagome you need to call the hospital and get your mother and brother as well as his gang and your own over here right away. I'll send some people to get her and your brother from the hospital, but you must be quick.”

Hearing the urgency in his voice called her mother's cell and told her that some friends would be coming to get her. Then she sent the page out to Rin and Sango.

“Tell me Sesshou. What's going on why does everyone have to come over here.?”
