Sunrise!
Sesshomaru studied Kagome's face till her long eyelashes fluttered open. Kagome's body stiffened.
"Sess...Sess...Sesshomaru?What...What?" Sesshomaru put his finger to her lips, trying to shush her.
* AAAAAHHHHH! What is Sesshomaru doing here? Why am I in his shirt? Whats going on?... I'm so confused.*
Sesshomaru smiled to himself, he could smell her confusion and her fear.
"Calm down Kagome"
Kagome looked up at him then down again, but back up when she noticed the sunrise. It was the most beautiful thing she had seen in a long time, considering last night.
*Ooohhh... last night.(touchy subject)*
Sesshomaru watched the sunrise with Kagome, but suddenly smelt something salty. Maybe wet too. But it was not the sea or the sea spray, something pure...*what is it?*. He looked down at the fragile creature sitting in his arms. His gaze locked onto her face, and there on her cheek was a lone tear escaping her eyelid.
"Don't cry," he said softly. Kagome sniffled, and wiped the tear from her cheek.
"Sorry"
"Don't be"
The sun was up now and the air was crisp, Sesshomaru slid out of his shirt but kept it around Kagome.
"Take it, it will keep you warm."
Kagome took the white top greatfuly and stood up. Truth be told she was freezing. Since running through the wet trees last night, her clothes had been drenched. It was only the adrenalin that had kept her going. Sesshomaru turned away, and Kagome quickly removed her wet clothing and put on the shirt.
*This is huge,I could fit 5 of me in here...no wait maybe 8 me's.*
The shirt dried her wet skin quickly and the sun warmed her. She flipped her hair over to put her hair in a pony tail, and take of her soaking wet shoes. But Sesshomaru picked her up and sat her on his lap. He removed her shoes while she put her hair up, she thanked him.
He picked her up like a mother would a baby, and carried her to her house. He was about to put her down when she said,
"Could you take me somewere else?" He looked down at her and gazed into her eyes, what he saw there was more than he expected. In her eyes he saw soorow, hurt and anger, but somewhere he saw a tiny glimer of hope. He stored the hope in his heart and took her to his apartment. (yes he was an apartment) To the Penhouse he went, through the roof. He carried her to his bathroom and put her in the shower.
"Stay here and have a hot shower, I will find you some thing to wear." This was said in a tone of voice that she knew not to argue with. With that he left, so she hopped in his shower and took of his shirt. She showered for a long time, making sure to clense her skin of all the mud and gunk of her body. (it had been a long time for her)
*Why is Sesshomaru beeing so nice to me? Usually he is Cold and heartless...* She climbed out of the shower and found a big fluffy towel to wrap around herself. She made a dress out of it and put another one in her hair. Then she decided to explore his house.
