Chapter 2: Sweet revenge… Or?

The next day I woke up in the middle of the day. I yawned and stretched my arms over my head. Umm. I was still tired. I had spent almost the whole night choosing which of all his secrets I should use. I have chosen some of the real dirty ones. Tee hee. He was going to regret what he had done. Normally I didn’t go much up in when he insulted me, but companied to this one the other times was pure innocent. This time he’d gone too far and that I had got his mothers side, what would say her permission and the fact dad wasn’t here. Nothing could go wrong.

When I came down in the kitchen to get some breakfast, Kouga was no where to see. Hmm. Did he still sleep? No. The clock was over 12. he couldn’t.

“Where’s Kouga Mom?” I asked Mena. The fact I called her mom was not to insult her, the word step would made her cry. And right now it wouldn’t fit. Not if my plan should work.

“Hm? Oh Ayame!” Mena smiled hugging me. “Finally up, ne?” She teased, I pouted telling her the reason to why I overslept. She nodded and smiled even wider.

“Oh I see… And Kouga went to Hitens place. They are holding the movie night there instead.” She stated. WHAT? Hold a minute. No! That couldn’t be. Why should that happen when I had a plan to fulfil? I frowned and stared daggers at the picture of him hanging at the wall.

“But why?” I asked annoyed. She turned around and gave me an odd expression.

“I donno…” She answered me honestly. I stomped my feet in the ground like a little kid who didn’t got to have that lolly she cheered.

“But my plan?” I choked out sounding much like that kid. She smiled at me and it was a ‘cheer up, honey’ smile. I looked pouted on her.

“It will still work… Hiten asked after you when he was here picking Kouga up…” She giggled.

“What? While Kouga heard it?” I asked confused. I knew very well Hiten didn’t wanted Kouga to know he had a crush on me. Even not at the fact I knew.

She chuckled now. “Of course not. He said it while Kouga was up getting the movies he wanted to see. And he whispered! That boy surely likes you!” Yea… But I love Kouga. I wanted to say it aloud, but kept it at myself for safety. I didn’t wanted any to know. Not even Mena.

“I know!” I said instead with a false smile. “Then I’ll go to his place too. You okay with being alone?” my voice seemed worried as I said the last. I also was. A bit even that I pretty well knew she liked to be alone sometimes.

“Sure!” she replied, grinning. “Now eat and go!” She pushed teasingly. I pouted again.

“Yea-Yea! Take it easy.”

When I had taken a shower after eating my late breakfast I looked in the mirror. Not to be selfish or something, but jeez. I was just beautiful. Hee hee. Yea, admiring myself I was good at, but that Kouga didn’t noticed what I saw also hurt me. Even more than his insult last night. Why couldn’t he see? We were close and I wasn’t his true sister or maybe, yes. We did grow up like siblings, but do I really feel more all by myself? Doesn’t he or does he just hide it? Sigh. If that’s it he is a really good hider. But at second thought. Why should he give me, his ‘sister’ more attention than the girl he seemed to have a crush on? He was hanging up and down her at any reason he could get. So why? But honestly, he had to admire that I was pretty right? I mean, look at me! Eh… Okay, now I’m maybe a bit selfish, but hey, it’s not like it’s forbidden. I quickly took a silky dress in my closet that would fit to drive Hiten crazy and maybe show Kouga how beautiful I was. Anyways I hoped he would think that.

Before I left I made sure to have Mena to vote if the dress was sexy enough, but also formal enough. I didn’t want to look like a slut. She found it great and I left, pleased. I had found it suited me perfect too. It was tight on all the right places and did go to the middle of my legs. It was in a Chinese design and had nice flower patterns all over the light blue material.

I felt happy and exited at the same time when I nodded on Hitens front door, because I new he was going to open. I heard a voice yell from upon; “Just a sec!” and footsteps, huskily running down the steps before the dong swung open and I stared into a pair of reddish eyes.

“Hello Hiten!” I purred, smiling my sweetest smile, knowing he would act on it. And I was soo right! Heh! His eyes widened when he saw me dressed like this. What I know was that he usual liked the way I dressed, but this gave some extra points. Hopefully by Kouga too.

“A-Ayame!? W-Wow!” he stuttered. I tilt my head to the side and looked puzzled on him, blinking confused.

“What is?” I asked sounding confused. I could be so mean sometimes! “Ain’t you going to ask me in?” He snapped out of his staring and quickly stepped to the side.

“O-Of course…” He let me in and shut the door. “I… I was not expecting you… or… not like that…” I knew what he meant. He obviously liked my dress. Hee hee. Actually it wasn’t bad having one who had a crush on one.

“What do you mean?” I asked anyways, innocently.

“Ehm… I…” he started. I could see a blush forming its way on his cheeks. Hee hee. So cool.

“You… you just look great.” He mumbled, looking at the floor. Actually it was a bit sweet. The way he looked, but no Ayame he’s not the reason you dressed up like this. Hmm. I wonder where Kouga is.

“Where is Kouga?” I asked him, looking around to maybe spot him. I felt Hitens mood turn sad so suddenly. Like he knew I had a crush on Kouga. He didn’t did he? I looked on him with a puzzled face.

“Something wrong Hiten?” Okay. I was a bit worried of that. Not him of course, but that he maybe knew something. Shit. That would be real bad. He and Kouga are best friends. If Hiten knew something about my crush he would possible say.

“No… He’s in my room.” He said nodding his head towards the stair case.

“Okay… Thanks.” I said, smiling my sweetest smile to him and walked up the stairs. Remember what I said earlier about being mean sometimes? I surely am. I like Hiten and it’s not like I actually like to hurt him. But he gets hurt, it’s my fault and the worse is, I know exactly what he feels. He loves me like I love Kouga, but what can I do about it? Nothing. Sigh. I wish I could, but I can only hope that he finds another who will love him in return.

I looked around when I was upstairs until I saw a room that might be Hitens. I have never been here before, but it just had to be his. It was decorated with all kind of things. Space ship posters, sexy girl posters, (Typical men…-____-) a poster of me and ... ? Wait a minute. A poster of me?! But… Waah! Does that mean Kouga knows from Hitens crush on me? I mean. He must have seen the poster. Oh god.

I don’t know how long I stood there, but I got a shock when the door opened and Kouga came out.

“Ayame? Why are….” Suddenly his eyes widened, I guess he saw my outfit. I couldn’t help smiling a bit.

“How the fuck do you look!?” He yelled at me. I got a bit hurt of the tone in his voice, but there was no escape now so, I just have to play cool.

“Like it’s your damn business.” I replied calm and crossed my arms.

“I dress like I want to. Like you do.” He really looked liked he lost his words. I could understand that. I have never ever gone against Kouga and just wave him off as I did now. He was not used to it.

“What?!” He just said, but thank god we was interrupted when Hiten came up the stairs with the rest of the group, Sango, Miroku, Bankotsu and Kagome. I snorted a bit when I saw Kagome. She was the girl Kouga always hang on. In true I didn’t really have something against her, but of course I’m jealous.

The rest of the evening was quite funny. I chatted a lot with the girls and the boys made fun of us. Only Kouga didn’t seem to be happy about me being there. It was so obvious, but I wouldn’t just throw my plan out for his sake.

Finally we after we all had ate; us girls sat down in a guest room and talked about boys. Then I got an idea, maybe it was a bit to cruel to tell his best friends his dirty secrets, but what about when I then just told Kagome about Kougas crush on her? Yea. That would be the perfect revenge and so I did. You should have seen Kagomes face. Wow. She really looked surprised. Yea. Like she didn’t knew. For me it had been more than obvious. But what she then did I hadn’t expected. She rushed up speeding into Hitens room with me and Sango right behind and smacked Kouga in the face.

“I thought we had talked about that! You know I have Inu Yasha! You promised to forget it, did you really had to tell your sister?! You’re just too much!!” Then she stomped out, telling Hiten she was sorry and she had to leave. After she was gone everyone looked on Kouga. He looked hurt and speechless. Then his eyes felt on me. His look was the worst he ever had given me. I felt a lump in my throat. He rose and passed me. I didn’t knew what to do so I did nothing. I had got my revenge, yes. How I felt?
