Kagome opened her eyes reluctantly as the sun shone harshly against her face. ‘It must be early.’ She surmised as she breathed in and found the air heavy with moisture. She yawned and stretched out an arm as she rubbed the sleep from her eye. She paused, raising a confused eyebrow as her fingers came in contact with something warm and furry. She let her fingers run over the soft fur, grasping it in her hand before giving a light tug.

“Ow!” A gruff voice behind her grumbled. “Careful,” Inuyasha warned in a groggy voice, “They’re sensitive.”

Kagome gasped as she sat up, straddling the large tree branch and turning her head to look over her shoulder, her hands firmly grasping the bark of the large tree. “Inuyasha!” She squeaked with surprise.

Slowly Inuyasha watched as Kagome’s face flushed a deep crimson as she recalled why they were in the tree in the first place. She smirked nervously as she tried to meet Inuyasha’s gaze, but instead let her eyes fall on their ~guest~ still sleeping below. In the light of day Kagome now realized just how high up they actually were and she found herself becoming dizzy. She closed her eyes and grabbed Inuyasha’s knee to steady herself.

Inuyasha chuckled slightly. “I won’t let you fall. Come here.” He stated as he extended his hand, pulling her into his lap and turning her around so that she faced him.

She opened her eyes again and looked down. Again the world began to spin. She buried her head in the crook of his neck and clutched at his Hatori.

Inuyasha chuckled again, as she wrapped her legs around his waist. Soothingly he began to stroke her hair. “Do you want down?”

Kagome nodded against his neck. She let out a sigh as she felt his arms wrap around her and wrapped hers around his neck. She held him tighter once they pushed off from the tree. Seconds later she felt her feet fall upon the soft ground, but for some reason she didn’t let go. His arms were still around her, and they were warm and comforting. Her heart still beat loudly in her chest as she reluctantly loosened her grip. “Thank you.” She whispered as she slowly separated their bodies.

“You’re welcome.” Inuyasha answered softly.

Kagome sighed as his warmth was replaced with the cool air of the brisk morning. Her heart ached and demanded she be close to him, but she forced herself to pull away. She could feel his eyes upon her as she went about quietly filling her pack and reheating some left over rabbit for the day’s journey. She couldn’t explain it, but Inuyasha’s stare was much different then Sukki’s had been. She felt warm when his eyes were upon her, not hot, and she had to stop herself from smirking so much that her mouth had gotten sore.

She happened upon the upturned bowl of food at the base of the tree and hesitated. Kagome smirked again, a deep blush filling her face as she carefully picked up the pieces of rabbit. She lingered there, picking up each piece with great thoughtfulness.

Inuyasha watched Kagome taking her time cleaning up the mess they had made and smirked. He stared at her flushed face and tried to imagine what she was thinking. Could her thoughts be as depraved as his own? He imagined pinning her to the ground and taking her in front of Sukki. He shook his head letting out a chuckle; even in his fantasies she sat him soundly for that one.

“What?” Kagome asked as she looked over her shoulder at him, crouched over on all fours.

‘Did she have any idea how desirable she looked in that position?’ He wondered with a smirk. “Nothing..” He grumbled as he averted his gaze.

She gave him an annoyed look. “What’s so funny?” She asked as she picked up the last pieces of garbage and discarded them into the fire angrily. “Inuyasha! Don’t ignore me!”

“Calm the fuck down Kagome. I told you…it was nothing.” He barked.

“Don’t tell me to calm down!” She screamed in response.

Sukki opened his eyes and sat up, “Good morning,” He mumbled rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He stuttered as he slowly woke up, “I-Is everything okay?” He paused as he ran his hand over his head smoothing over his dark hair, a slight smirk growing on his face. “Are you two fighting again?”

Inuyasha was the first to answer, crossing his arms, “Are we Kagome?”

Kagome’s eyebrow twitched as she forced sweetness into her voice. “O-Of course not. We were just…..” She laughed nervously.

Sukki smirked, “I see, well would you mind if I stayed for breakfast then, I have a long journey ahead of me.”

Kagome gritted her teeth. “Of course not.”

“Yeah…..stay as long as you like Sukki.” Inuyasha said with false sincerity as he continued to stare at Kagome with the same pleased smirk from the night before.

“I’m afraid it’s rabbit again.” She laughed nervously.

“Keh!” Inuyasha snorted. “I’ll pull us some fish from the river.” He announced as he jumped to his feet and walked over to Kagome. “Would you like that SWEETIE?” He asked, growling out the pet name like it was an insult.

Kagome gave him her best fake smile. “Of course, HUN. Hurry back.” She answered in the same tone. Inuyasha quickly disappeared into the forest leaving Kagome alone with Sukki yet again.

They both remained quiet for what seemed an eternity. Kagome tried to make herself look busy with the fire, but there was no avoiding the question she knew was coming. “Kagome,” Sukki began, “If you don’t mind me asking…just how often do you two fight like this?”

Kagome slumped against the ground with a groan “A lot” She answered honestly before she could stop herself.

“I hope I’m not being too personal.” Sukki began again, “But why do you stay with him if you argue so much?”

Kagome sighed. “Because I love him.” She answered quickly and honestly. “Despite all our fighting and bickering, I couldn’t stand to be separated from him.”

“I see,” Sukki replied with a thoughtful defeated look, “It must be difficult to stay mad at someone you love so deeply.”

“It is.” She said softly as she stared into the fire.

“Oiy! Woman! Check out the size of these fish!” Inuyasha barked as he stepped out of the forest.

Kagome covered her mouth to stop herself from bursting with laughter. Inuyasha carried a bundle fish, a couple bigger then his arm. “Inuyasha, do you think we can eat all that?”

“Keh! I told you I’d get us fish. If we don’t eat it all we can take it with us.” Inuyasha boasted proudly, holding his arm out. Kagome stood up and reached out to take the bundle from him. He quickly pulled back and smirked at her. “Nuh uh Kagome, where’s my thank you?” He questioned as he tapped his lip with a clawed finger.

Kagome gave him a sideways glance before quickly leaning in and pressing her lips to his in what she intended to be a quick kiss. Inuyasha’s free hand quickly found its way to the small of her back holding her body against his. She pulled back, reaching for the fish once more, only to have him hold it just out of reach again. “Inuyasha….” She said in a tone much softer then she intended. Her voice trailing as she became lost in his golden stare. She looked into his eyes again, willing herself not to look away.

“Ahem,” Sukki cleared his throat hoping to get their attention.

Kagome looked to Sukki; her face beet red yet again. “Thank you for the fish Inuyasha.” She said softly as he finally handed over the heavy load. She cleared her throat. “Would you like to take some with you for your journey?” She inquired to Sukki while keeping her eyes on her work.

“Yes Kagome, that would be wonderful, thank you.” He answered with a soft smile.

Breakfast for the most part was quiet. Kagome quickly cooked the fish that Inuyasha had provided and wrapped up a large portion of it for Sukki, Inuyasha and herself. Kagome hung off Inuyasha’s arm as they waved goodbye to Sukki. She waited until he was completely out of sight and let out a deep sigh releasing Inuyasha’s arm. “Finally!” She huffed, spinning around as if a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders. She took a few more steps ahead of Inuyasha, stretching her arms out and taking a deep breath. “Don’t you dare say I told you so Inuyasha.” She warned in her moment of freedom. She gasped softly as he grabbed her arm, spinning her around so that her nose was only inches from his.

“I heard you…” He whispered softly as his hands fell to her hips.”

“Heard me?” She questioned innocently, taking a step back.

“I heard what you said,” He took a step forward, pulling her body against his again. “When I went to get the fish.” He pushed the backpack from her back, letting it fall off her arms and to the ground.

Kagome’s eyes went wide. “Well I…..that is…..”

“Shhhhhh” Inuyasha soothed as he ran a claw gently along the outline of her jaw line, while his free hand began to untuck her school shirt.

She looked down watching his movements as both his hand went to the buttons of her top, slowly undoing them from the bottom to the top.

“Wh—“She began, only to have Inuyasha interrupt her.

“Shhhhhh.” He whispered again as he pressed his lips against hers. Slowly he pushed the fabric of her shirt over her shoulders, pulling it down her arms and dropping it to the ground. He broke the kiss momentarily, gazing into her now lust filled eyes, before pressing his lips to hers again passionately. She moaned against his mouth, her arms wrapping around his neck as her legs began to fail her. He whimpered back, his tongue running along her lips, as his hands busied themselves with pushing her bra down her body until it rested around her stomach. He pulled back from the kiss yet again, this time letting his eyes travel down her body. “Oh Kagome.” He whispered as he lowered her to the ground and began to kiss at the soft flesh.

She moaned in response, arching her back into him as his warm lips found her nipple and began to tease it mercilessly. “Oh Inuyasha….” She moaned desperately as her hands frantically pulled at the clothing covering him from her view.

He grabbed her hands and held them down; growling softly as he trailed kisses down her hot stomach. She squirmed beneath him as her body screamed to be touched.

“Inuyasha…. please.” She begged breathlessly as he slowly began to pull her panties down her thighs; the cool air on her wet core only adding to her exquisite torture. She whined loudly.

Inuyasha growled again. He would not be rushed. He wanted to enjoy every painfully erotic moment. He wanted to make love to her until his muscles refused to move, and no amount of begging was going to make him rush through this moment.

“Inuyasha….” She pleaded again as he pushed up her skirt and began trailing soft kisses along the inside of her thighs. “Please.” She begged with more urgency as she arched her hips; her body burning with desire.

He smirked slightly. He enjoyed hearing her beg. He enjoyed hearing her call his name with such longing. He slowly placed a trembling clawed hand on each of her thighs and pulled them apart. He moved his lips desperately close to her core, watching her facial expressions contort into a lustful desperation.

“Inuyaaaaaaaaaa” Her plea broke down to a soft vowel sound as she felt his tongue caress the now throbbing bundle of nerves at her entrance. The texture drove her mad. His tongue was rough, yet smooth, warm, yet cold. She grasped the grass beneath her as he lapped at her again. He smiled as he heard her cry of pleasure echo through the forest. “Oh goddess,” She mumbled as his pace increased along with her heartbeat. “Oh Inuyasha!” She moaned as she buried her fingers in his hair.

His pace became frantic as her need overpowered his senses. He held onto her hips as he felt her trembling body begin to go rigid. “Inuyasha!” She screamed out once more as he plunged his tongue deep into her core. Her body falling away as her mind swam with colors and sensations she had never even imagined before. Inuyasha hungrily lapped at her essence as it began to flow from her body.

Kagome covered her heart with her hand as she slowly recovered. Her entire body felt heavy and warm. “Oh Inuyasha,”she whispered breathlessly, “that was amazing….”

He moved himself to lie beside her and placed a soft kiss to her lips before rising to his knees and pushing the fabric of his Hatori to his shoulders. He smirked down at her as the realization of what was to happen next played across her face. He crawled in next to her again, gently nudging her so that they both lay on their side, her back against his chest. “I love you Kagome.” He whispered softly in her ear, as he removed the last of his clothing.

Kagome’s heart quickly regained its hastened rhythm as the knot in her stomach began to build anew.

He could feel her tremble against his chest as he slowly pulled her to her knees. Never breaking their connection he pulled her into his lap and placed small kisses along her neck and earlobe. “You’re so beautiful Kagome.” He whispered as his hands kneaded the soft flesh of her breasts.

In his same painfully slow manner he lowered her to the ground, till she was on all fours. “You’re so beautiful Kagome.” She heard him whisper again as he slowly ran his smooth hard manhood along her all ready slick core. Her arms and legs trembled, and she feared that she might buckle.

“Please…” She begged again as he tortured her with his long, deliberate motions.

Inuyasha growled loudly, deciding this time to answer her plea. Slowly he began to press his hard shaft into her tight opening. She was so very wet and warm. He growled out her name again as he felt her push back against him. Not wanting to make her plead for the fifth time that night, he complied happily and began to pull his length slowly at first, listening intently to every gasp and sigh that escaped Kagome’s lips, and then faster, until their skin slapping became louder then the sound of her moans. Sweat began to bead on his brow as he growled his pleasure into the forest. Kagome could no longer make any sound at all, but simply clutched the ground as if she thought she might fall off, and twisted her face in an expression of sheer ecstasy.

“Inuyasha!” She screamed as her body tensed once more, squeezing and pulling at his throbbing member.

Inuyasha gritted his teeth, he didn’t want it to be over, he wanted more, but upon hearing Kagome’s scream, he knew he could not hold back any longer. He screamed out her name as his body began to tremble signaling his release. He held on to her hips to steady himself until he drained himself completely within her. He broke their connection, gently lowering her to her side and crawling up next to her so that their faces were mere inches apart. She moved in closer and buried her face in his neck as he wrapped his arm around her.

They lay there, on the forest floor, in each others arms, not saying a word until Inuyasha finally broke the silence. “You know,” he started in an amused tone, “I TOLD you that guy was bad news.”

Kagome sighed deeply against his chest, “I know.”
