Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's Romance

The next day, Inuyasha was awakened by the sound of water splashing. He put his hands under his head and opened up his eyes to see the blue sky above him. But when he opened his eyes he saw a Hanyou (half dog-demon and half human) staring down at him from in the tree. She had long dirty blond hair that hovered not far above him and dark eyes almost pure black. When their eyes met, she jumped down and started to run into the woods. He quickly jumped up and was about to go after her, but when he felt someone grab his hand he stopped. He turned around to see it was only his love, Kagome.

”Did you see that?” He pointed in the woods.

”See what?”

”Never mind. Where were you?”

”I went for a swim. Is that okay with you, oh ruler of my life.” She said sarcastically. Then began giggling. Inuyasha not taking his eyes off the woods, nor did he change the look on his face, started to walk towards them. He had the most confused look.

”I’m going to take a walk. Ummm… I’ll be back shortly.” Then he walked into the woods, not waiting for a response. He walked very quietly, as if he were hunting something. His ears twitched when he heard a rattle in the bushes. He jumped in front of the bushes and ripped them open, but only saw a rabbit scurry off. He continued walking until he finally gave up and sat up in the nearest tree, then drifted off to sleep. Not long after he had fallen asleep, he heard a sigh from under him. Inuyasha quietly got up and looked under him to find the Hanyou girl sitting there. She looked as if she were crying.

”Are you okay?” He whispered trying not to startle her. She jumped up to her feet and demanded to know who he is. “Calm down, I’m like you. Hanyou.”

”I know what you are! That’s not what I asked! Do you have a name with that smart ass of yours.” He jumped down and got close to her.

”I don’t know, that depends on who’s asking.” Then he took another steep closer.

”Fine! I’m out of here.” She turned to walk away, but he grabbed her arms and made her face him. “Get your hands off of me!” She struggled for a moment then stopped. “Who are you?”

”Inuyasha. And you are?”

”Katana. Now will you let me go?” He released her then jumped back up in the tree. She jumped up right behind him.

Meanwhile Kagome sat impatiently waiting for Inuyasha’s return. 

”Kagome, what are you doing sitting here all alone?” She looked up and saw Miroku.

”That’s what I’m wondering. Inuyasha said he was going for a walk and that he would be back shortly. That was four hours ago. And now I’m just hoping he’s not lying on the ground somewhere dead!” Tears began to pour down her cheeks. Miroku sat next to her and comforted her while they waited. “What am I thinking! I’m so stupid! How can I just sit here while Inuyasha may be hanging off a cliff waiting for me to save him!” At that she stood up and ran off into the woods with Miroku following behind her. As she was running past trees she heard Inuyasha call out her name. She came to a sudden stop and looked around for Inuyasha, then finally saw him up in a tree. He had his arms wrapped around some female dog-demon. She was asleep in his embrace.

”Inuyasha… Who… Who is…” She tried to force the words out of her mouth, but for some reason she could barely speak. She could hardly breath. To her it felt like a thousand needles were stabbing her all over. She shook her head and turned around quickly so Inuyasha couldn’t see her tears. “I think I’m sick, I can’t seem to speak.” She just barely managed to get out.
