Inuyasha's Thoughts
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Inuyasha and its characters, world, etc etc... That right belongs entirely to Rumiko Takahashi. I'm just a mere reader/fan of Inuyasha, that's all.

Inuyasha had also gotten contemplative after his last meeting with Kikyou. She warned him not to get in her way, and that the shards Kagome got from Kouga must find their way to Naraku even is she has to take them there herself. Her determination was almost scary. But what bothered Inuyasha more was her complete lack of warmth, not even the faintest glimmer of kind feelings for him in her eyes. So unlike Kagome. What would he do when the Shikon no tama was completed? If it is used to purify Naraku he wouldn’t get either of his wishes. He couldn’t become human or a full demon- he’d just be a hanyou forever. Then Kikyou would claim his life. Her would never hear Kagome’s voice again. A voice that saved him, quite literally, on more than one occasion. He wouldn’t be able to look into her brown eyes, or feel her body against his again. This last thought drifted to places he hadn’t dare go as of late. The thoughts started out as being him carrying her on his back as usual, but the image in his mind morphed as he imagined Kagome’s naked body against his. He had never been that close to a female before – human or otherwise. He yearned to feel that kind of closeness, but knew he could never have that if he followed Kikyou. Inuyasha also knew Kagome loved him and for the first time, admitted to himself that he loved her too. Could it be? he mused. After Kikyou’s betrayal he thought he’d never love again, but he does. Kagome, somehow, had not only healed his heart, he smirked, but also stole it. Inuyasha found himself yearning to be even closer to her for the first time. He had to go see her.
His mind made up, Inuyasha went through the well to see Kagome. But when he arrived on the other side, he found her house was dark. “Damn, she is already asleep.” He jumped up into the tree outside her window noiselessly and decided to nap there and wait for her. But no sooner had he settled himself, he saw a small glow – a flashlight was it? And then he saw Kagome’s silhouette leave her room. Curious, he followed her on the rooftops, why was she out this late alone? Then to his surprise, he watched her stand before the God tree and un-button her top. She was stroking her chest and now her exposed breasts outside! Inuyasha thought his eyes would pop out of his head. Then he heard something that made his heart quicken even more. His sensitive ears heard her breathe out a sigh and his name, “Inuyasha..”.
Kagome stopped herself when she realized what she had said. She sat down under the tree and looked up at it while the cool night winds gently caressed her hair and still open top. She smiled gently at the tree as she covered herself up, thinking how silly she must look. Then she gave a startled yelp and jumped back. She swore she saw two golden eyes reflecting back at her from the tree. Inuyasha realized he’d been seen. Now what? He wondered. He had to make his move now or he’d never forgive himself. Her response to him tonight may be the difference between life and death for him, literally. He leapt down from the tree and stood before Kagome.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Cliffhangers are great aren't thery? :) This is my first lemon fic… I was so inspired by all you writers out there! I wrote it in a hurry one night, I couldn't contain myself!
