THE BEAUTY OF AN ANGEL

Rin walked across the street until she stood in front of a normal size house with a well in the backyard.
Rin rung the doorbell and waited until she heard footsteps coming to the door. The door slowly opened and there stood Mrs.Higurashi. "Oh, good morning Mrs.Higurashi!" Rin greeted with a smile. "Why, good morning Rin. How are things going?" Mrs.Higurashi questioned. "Oh, things are going just wonderful Mrs.Higurashi!" Rin lied. She knew her life couldn't be anymore miserable. But she couldn't let Mrs.Higurashi know that. "Ha, ha, well, Kagome's in her room." Mrs.Higurashi responded with a laugh. "Thanks Mrs.Higurashi!" Rin finally said and went upstairs towards Kagome's room. With a soft knock Kagome opened her door. 'Are you ready?" Rin asked. "Just about." Kagome responded. Kagome started scambling through items. Taking five minutes. Rin sighed. "Are you ready yet? With the pace you're going, we're going to be late for school." Rin said impatiently. "Alright, alright, I'm ready now." Kagome responded while putting on her bag.
The two girls went downstairs and outside the house. "Bye Mom! See you this afternoon!" Kagome yelled before walking out of sight. "Bye girls! Mrs.Higurashi responded. Kagome strapped herself to her seat ready to drive her new "Expedition." Rin strapped herself into the passengers seat and there were off to school.

Sesshomaru banged on the kitchen table impatiently. "Inuyasha! Hurry up!" Sesshomaru roared with rage. If his father haven't told him to drive Inuyasha to school, he would have drove off without the bastard. "Don't rush me asshole! You ain't king of Japan!" Inuyasha yelled. "If I were you, I would watch what I say halfbreed!" Sesshomaru warned. "Oh yeah, like that would ever happen." Was all Inuyasha replied.
Sesshomaru ignored Inuyasha's remark and went to the car. Sesshomaru drove a mercedes along with Inuyasha. They would always take turns driving it, even though Sesshomaru wanted it for himself. Inuyasha jumped in the passengers side and Sesshomaru started the engine and drove off. Inuyasha, wanting to get comfortable, pushed the seat back and relaxed with his feet in the air.
"Inuyasha! I can't drive to school if I have to look and smell your disgusting feet!" Sesshomaru responded harshly. "Fuck off asshole! I had enough out of you for one day!" Inuyasha responded angry. Sesshomaru tighted his grip on the wheel. The bastard had it coming to him. He swear if the damn halfbreed said one more thing, he would kill him.

The two girls had gotten to school in time to see the two Tashio brothers right beside them.
"Kagome look who's here!" Rin said cheerfully. Kagome turned and saw the boy she had a crush on for like forever! He never noticed her though. She would always hide. "OH, he is so cute!" Kagome squealed. "Don't you think Rin?" Kagome started. "Rin? Rin?." Rin didn't even hear Kagome's voice. Her eyes was on the handsome figure beside Inuyasha. "The way his hair blew in the wind. I could get lost in those wonderful amber drools. Oh how his... "RIN!" Rin snapped out of her trance when she heard Kagome screamed at her. "Oh, I'm so sorry Kagome. I wasn't paying attention." Rin replied.
"What are you so interested in anyway?" Kagome asked. "I interested in Inuyasha's brother Sesshomaru!" Rin squealed. Kagome looked in the direction Rin looked. "Rin, you'll be very lucky if he speaks to you." Kagome responded. "Well, I know a lot of girls like him because he's cute and popular in all but, thats not what I'm searching for in him." Rin replied. "What do you want to see in him?" Kagome asked curiously. "Well..." Rin started. "I don't want to go out with him if he doesn't have feelings for me. I mean, I wish I knew what he was thinking." Rin continued. "I don't want a man who only worries about his looks and go around and fuck random girls just because they will give him whatever he wants. I want him to respect me for who I am." Rin finished. Kagome looked at Rin. "But does he notice you?" Kagome questioned. Rin sighed. "No, girls are always in his face or around him to notice me at all." Rin responded a little sad. "Don't worry about it Rin. There are plenty of fish in the sea. He may be your true love or he may not be. Who knows. Kagome tried to cheer Rin up. Rin smiled a little. "You're right Kagome. I shouldn't worry about things like this. I have a future ahead of me. "Rin finally said while both girls got out the car and headed towards school.

Sesshomaru parked the car in the parking lot. Without saying anything to Inuyasha, he opened the door and shut it behind him and headed towards the school. Inuyasha looked at Sesshomaru in disgust and followed him into Brandon High. As Sesshomaru walked into the school, girls from everywhere stopped what they were doing and stared in amazment at how beautiful their beloved angel was. Sesshomaru smirked at their stare and went to his locker. He opened his locker and took out his spanish book for Spanish class. When he closed his locker, Kagura was beside him. "What do you want Kagura!" Sesshomaru replied in a cold tone. "I was just wondering if you were free for the upcoming dance. I want you to be my date." Kagura replied. "Don't flatter youself Kagura, for this Sesshomaru will be taking himself and no one else to the dance." Sesshomaru said cruelly. "Well, if you change your mind, heres my phone number." Kagura laughed seductively while giving Sesshomaru a small piece of paper with her phone number and address. When Kagura was out of sight, Sesshomauru quickly ripped the paper into pieces. "Hey sweet stuff, need a date for the dance?" Sesshomaru turned around to see Sarah. "I told your sister this, and now I'm telling you, I'm going to the dance alone."Sesshomaru responded coolly. "Well, if you change your mind, heres my phone number and address."Sarah responded. Once again, Sesshomaru received a small piece of paper and quickly ripped it to shreds once Sarah was gone. Sesshomaru turned and went to his class.

Rin saw the whole scene from beginning to end. Her two step sisters wanted Sesshomaru as much as she did. She knew she wasn't the lucky type. Good things never happens to her. Rin wanted so much to go to the upcoming dance. Sesshomaru was going to be there. But she never got to go to any parties. Sure she knows how to do all the types of dances but her step-father never let her go.
Her step-father and step-sisters hated her. She began to walk to her spanish class.(Yes, she has classes with Sesshomaru) Rin got to her class on time before the bell rung. She sat behind Sesshomaru like always, admiring his silver hair. Siting in between Sango and Kagome. "O.k. class today we are going to take notes." Mr.Haku started. Inuyasha suddenly walked in the class. "Mr.Tashio, why are you late for class, once again?" Mr.Haku questioned Inuyasha. "I'm late because I'm late Mr.Haku.!" Inuyasha responded harshly as he took his seat beside Miroku. Kagome took a quick glance at her marvelous angel. When class was over, Miroku went over at the three ladies. "Excuse me Sango dear, but will you do me the honor of being my date for tonight's dance?" Miroku asked calmly. Sango blushed. "Ummm, sure, o.k." Sango said blushing even more. Miroku smiled. "Marvelous, I'll be at your house at seven." Miroku responded kissing Sango's hand and left. Both Kagome and Rin congraulated Sango. "Kagome, will you be my escort to the dance tonight?" Inuyasha asked. Kagome looked in surprised and nodded with a yes. "Good, I will pick you up at seven. Kagome blushed when Inuyasha was gone. "He finally talked to me!" Kagome squealed. Rin smiled and wished luck to her beloved friends. For at the same time of the dance, she had to work.

When finally got home and had to do all the chores in the house. She dust the the pictures, windexed the windows and glass tables, Clean all bathrooms, tidy up the livingroom, and clean the kitchen. When she was finish, she went upstairs clean her tub so she could take a shower.
When Rin finished her shower, she layed on the bed. She felt so bad to be the only person not to go to the dance. Her step-sisters always made fun of her when she couldn't go anywhere special. Tears started to appear on her eyes, rolling down her red cheeks. "Don't cry child." Rin jumped to the sound of a voice. "Who said that?" Rin looked around. "Your parents wouldn't want you to cry like this." Rin looked around until she say a lady in front of her. "Who are you?" Rin asked. "Why I'm your fairy-god mother. Now stop that crying so I could get you ready." Rin looked confused. "Ready for what?" "Why the dance of course." the lady responded. Rin's eyes widen and her frown turn into an smile. The lady worked her magic and gave Rin a beautiful baby blue sparkling dress. With sparkling earrings and a mask. Rin ran to the mirror and was amazed. The lady also had a car for Rin to drive in. "Oh thank you god-mother!" Rin said excitedly. "Wait Rin, before you go, you must leave the dance when the clock strucks 12. Rin nodded and ran downstairs, careful not to wake her step-father and outside the door. With a smile, Rin drove off.
