Misunderstandings
Hey guys im back with a new chapter! Goin pretty quick huh? Well hope u like this chap as much as u did the last. Rem im still new and need all the help I can get from u all. Read and enjoy!

Chapter Two
Misunderstandings
“This is stupid. Why do we have to be the ones to set up camp? It’s not like we weren’t fighting today too.” Inuyasha complained.
“Calm down Inuyasha. Yes we did fight today too and were also exhausted, but were men we can hold out longer than they can. Now stop your whining and help gather the fire wood.” Miroku tired to reason.
“Who’s we?! I’m not tired! It’s you weak humans that get tired.” Inuyasha spat.
Miroku now getting inpatient with his hanyou friend, for not showing common courtsey raised his voice a bit. “Inuyasha that’s just it! We are humans and don’t have your strength. I don’t think it would hurt you to let us rest. Say as you wish, but you need it to.”
Inuyasha, now lost for words just simply replied, “Feh, what ever.” And went on collecting fire wood.

“Awwww this feels great. A little cold, but great.” Said an exhausted Kagome.
“You’re telling me, this feels wonderful! How long has it been since we last had a nice bath?” Sango sighed.
Shippo wanting to join in on the conversation that was in progress spoke, “To long if you ask me. Inuyasha never wants to let us take a break. I can handle it, being a demon and all, but you two and Miroku need a break.”
Both Kagome and Sango couldn’t help but giggle at Shippo's remark.
“Yeah he is stubborn I’ll give him that much.” Kagome giggled out.
“Truly. Between him and Miroku we don’t stand a chance!” Added Sango.
“Yeah Miroku with his wandering hands, and Inuyasha and his ‘Im-not-stoping-for-nothing’ attitude.” Kagome added to Sango's remark.
“When will they learn?” Sango questioned.
Both girls hit a fit of laughter, leaving Shippo to just wonder what he was missing. He is after all, just a kid.

“There all done.” Miroku wiped his brow. “Now for some relaxation my self.”
“Don’t be going and doing anything stupid Miroku.” Inuyasha said while jumping up into a tree.
Miroku just grinned his innocent grin. “Why Inuyasha, you mean to tell me you don’t trust me? I’m hurt.”
Knowing he really wasn’t hurt Inuyasha continued, “Ah save it Miroku. Just don’t be sneaking around. And don’t say you don’t know what I mean.”
Miroku just smiled and lay down on the ground near the fire to get some rest. With out meaning to, Inuyasha fell asleep as well.

Inuyasha awoke a little later. He stretched before looking down and seeing no Miroku.
‘That hentia! He’s probably gone to spy on the girls. Well I’ll show him a thing or two! Feh, and Kagome said to be more like him. Stupid girl thinks she knows every thing.’ Inuyasha thought.
Getting up he started making his way to the lake where the girls were.
When he arrived he immediately started looking for Miroku. “Ok you damn monk where the hell are you?” Inuyasha said to himself.
Sinking down into the weeds so he wouldn’t be seen or see the girls he went on with his search. Well that is till he heard a gasp. He looked up to find a naked Kagome just staring down at him.
“Ah! Inuyasha you pervert! SIT!” Kagome screamed as she ducked back down in the water. Sango also followed suit.
“Wait kagome it’s not what you thi……” Thud! Too late he didn’t even get out his innocents.
“Don’t tell me it’s not what I think! What am I suppose to think! You’re here at the edge of the water crawling around so nobody sees you! While were in here naked! So what am I suppose to think!” Kagome yelled at him some more, while getting out and grabbing a towel since inuyasha was down.
Hearing the sounds of cloth moving, he knew they were dressed and shot up to defend himself. “I was looking for Miroku you stupid girl!” He screamed with his usual hands fisted up.
“Don’t call me stupid! You see Miroku's not here so why didn’t you leave?” Kagome yelled back while mimicking Inuyasha.
“I just got here!” Turning his back to her he said in a more calm tone, “Besides why would I want to look at Y...O...U?”
“Oh I don’t know.... why don’t you tell me why you were looking at M...E?” Kagome matched his sarcasm.
Inuyasha had had it up to here with this and lost it. “I wasn’t looking at you! Why would I even want to? When I’ve seen better! Hmmmmm?”
Hurt atomically filled Kagome's eyes. And this didn’t go unnoticed by Sango and Shippo, who were watching not knowing how to help.
“Is that so Inuyasha?" Kagome stated, with her voice starting to crack. "I guess you have, because I don’t know how many times you’ve run off to see Kikyo. So who knows how many times you’ve seen better.” Kagome said obviously hurt, while looking down.
Inuyasha still with his back to Kagome continued with out relizing he was just hurting himself even more, "Yeah and she at least listens to what I have to say. Unlike you, you just go off and start siting me!" He finshed turning back around to see Kagome shaking.
“I guess I am nothing more than a shard detector to you.” Kagome tried to get out a laugh. “What am I saying, of course I am. There’s no other reason to why I’m here.”
Inuyasha now seen and heard the hurt he had caused. Not knowing what else to say he said the only thing he could think of at the time. “Kagome I’m sor…”
“I don’t want to hear it!” Kagome cut him off. Lowering her voice a little more while fighting back tears, she spoke again, “I don’t want to hear any of it anymore.”
With that she started walking off in the direction she seen Inuyasha come. Leaving a sorry Inuyasha behind.
‘Why’d I even open my big mouth?’ Inuyasha thought, but didn’t get any further, for there was a little fox beating on his head.
“You idiot! Why do you always hurt Kagome? She didn’t do any thing to you! Go apologize already!” Shippo yelled while still beating Inuyasha over the head.
“Shut up!” Inuyasha threw Shippo off his head and began to walk back to camp as well. “Just shut up.”
“What's a matter with him? He’s not the one that’s hurt. Kagome is.” Shippo asked in wonder.
Sango who’d keep quite this whole time spoke to answer Shippo's question. “I think he knows he hurt Kagome. And I don’t think he even meant too.” With that they followed in the direction Kagome and Inuyasha headed not to long ago.

Upon arriving Kagome headed straight to her sleeping bag, not even paying mind to Miroku who looked on in confusion. She covered up so that no part of her body showed, and began to cry. Not even caring who seen or heard, she cried. Inuyasha really had done it this time. There’s only so much a girl can take.
When Inuyasha came into the clearing he saw Kagome's sleeping bag shaking and could smell the salt of her tears. He knew he had made a BIG mistake. He longed to go to her, but didn't dare.
Still confused as to what was going on Miroku asked Inuyasha, “Ok is there something I missed?” Silence filled the air.
He didn’t get an answer, only Inuyasha jumping up into the tree and laying down with his turned to where you could only see his back. In a lame attempt to mask, that he to was feeling pain.
When Sango and Shippo came Miroku asked in a more annoyed tone, “Ok what happened?”
Sango answered back with hurt for her friend, that was more like a sister to her, “I think you know. Or have you suddenly grown dense?”
Trying to add humor to lighten things up a bit Miroku answered her question, “Aw but I asked what happened, Sango my love. As to why they are fighting. I know they have had a fight.”
Sango just cut him a look that said ‘Not Now’ and went to lay down with Kerara. Miroku getting the hint and deciding it must have been real bad, also lay down to sleep. Shippo made his way to his crying mother figure and stayed by her to try and let her know she was loved. Although he didn't use words to say it.
Yes tonight was going to be a long night, and even a longer a trip now. And every one, even Kerara, knew it.
