Midnight of the tenth moon~

Another brand new day that we should cherish, there's a new start for everyone
except us.

Yup, I'm your average human slave to serve your daily average royal
demon family.

I fear growing up I rather be a child and never grow up, why rather
be a boy! See when you are chosen to go up to the tower to serve
the lord or princes that's a bad thing very very very bad!!!

But I still thank Kami-sama everyday for my blessings *sigh*
It's better to be alive then those concubines children.

This castle is my home, as far back I can remember I see my self
scrubbing the kitchens floors and feeding the horses. I guess I don't
have a mother or a father and its all right.

I grew up teaching my self, so I don't need anyone.

To survive this place is to bow your head and never ever falter
your assigned tasks and stay out of the lady and lords way and
you'll be fine.

I found this journal that I'm writing in it right now, well it was more
like stolen. I found it last week when I was suppose to polish the
storage rooms and I found it in a chest.

I took it cause it looked nice, and I never had anything nice before.
I'll make this into a book, like pretending to write to someone that's
reading it.

Now your problely wondering how can your average human slave can
write and read? Well sinceI was just a lil tot. I remebered I servant
for the royal tutor, yup I was very proud of myself to serve him.

Of course I did simple things, like serving tea and stuff but he always
would work very late.

Everytime he had to work late at night I would have to stay up with him
to, and he was a nice demon person. Yup he was, he wasn't vain or cruel
he was actually nice.

Since I was little I didn't know how to fear, and he taught me what he
taught the royal children.

But then he was dismissed I didn't know why but it was the first time
I felt I was alone.

So yeah I fell in love...love with learning, he given me a novel which
I kept hidden for soo long.

I am special, I found out it by myself. It gave me fear for I knew
they would taken me to the towers if they found out. So that's that, I have to sleep
now tomorrowI have garden duty,

It was a cold and windy day, and her job was outside tending the garden.
The roses need to gathered and the bushes needed to be trimmed, it
sounded like a easy job but actually it was very difficult.

You see the roses wp hip high on the bushes, the garden was like maze
and on the labyrinth there was roses.  However the roses where really up high
but that was what it gave to the garden its beauty, it was the mazes of roses that brought
the sweet smell.

It was a wonderful and peaceful place to be at, it was designed by the
great Queen herself it was a magnificent piece of work.

She got her scissors and starting cut out the best of the roses, she climbed
up the ladder to start cutting.

They where so pretty such delicate things, the petals was smooth like
silk. She had to pick the white and the red roses which was the ones way hidden
somewhere in the thorny bushes.

Owwww, the roses' thorns ed her hands and finger leaving drops dripping
onto her ragged gown. But she knew she couldn't stop she had to hurry up and get this over with
or she'll be scold by the head maid >i/i<

The wind blew fiercely at her, her long black raven hair flew wildly and
she stumbled and fell of her ladder and lanon hon her butt hard onto the concrete
ground.

" Arghh....why am I getting hurt so early this morning," said Kagome as
she got up and rubbed her bruised butt.

" Because your a stupid clumsy human thats why," snicker Prince InuYasha.

Kagome quickly turned around and saw with his a lovely snake demon around
his arms, her heartbeat went faster and her cheeks was flushed red.

She went on her knees and bowed low kinda like hailing him but with the
arms down to InuYasha, its just some stupid formal greetings for their inferiors.

She knew she was in trouble it was for she just broke on of the rules:

A slave was never suppose to look at loyals in their eyes

// Oh god oh god I am screwed, I just broke rule number154 I'm going to be
whipped today //

SLAP

" You damned human wench, don't you know your manners? " hissed the
snake demon.

Her left cheek had a big handmark and her lip started to bleed, poor Kagome
was frozen with pure horror. Her body went cold and her heart stoped beating, she
felt dizzy like she was going to faint.

Prince InuYasha tipped Kagome's face up to his eye leave, and he smirked
again but this one was scaring the shi- out of Kagome.

He licked Kagome's bleeding lips and said, " not bad for a human bitch."


The snake demoness glare at Kagome with chaste maliciousness, she folded
her arms and looked away.

Kagome was lost in his golden sun like eyes and finally he let her go and
walked give her a fangy grin.

He walked away scoping the jealous demoness into his arms once again, and
give her a surpirsed kiss whispering seductively to her, " are jealous of a foolish human? "

Kagome felt no longer numb but an anger flowing through her veins .........
