Coming Together

We once clashed in battle

The time came for the two brothers to show their children. It was the hardest day in Inuyasha’s life since to him it was like pawning off their children to kids who could turn out to be big jerks when they grew up. However, trying to convince Sesshoumaru that this was stupid was impossible.

“Sesshoumaru, why can’t we just let them decide when they grow up?”

Inuyasha argued for the five thousandth time that day. He looked absolutely stunning with his hair braided full of ribbons and beads. He decided to be the wife and Lady of the Manor after all since after figuring out the Lord crap he figured that shit was for the birds.

Wearing a comfortable elegant red Ladies kimono Inuyasha felt more at home. He could do as he pleased and it was rather easy work. Plus since he had to sew his fire rat armor so many times after all their fights Inuyasha found he was a wonderful at embroidery. Plus he loved the attention he was getting from Sesshoumaru’s Mother. He would get to plan great events with her and spend most of his time just being the devoted wife of his husband. He even agreed that they would only wait 50 years before having pups again since he chose this way.

Sesshoumaru was having a difficult time telling Inuyasha no. Especially with Inuyasha looking so damn beautiful making him mush at his mate’s feet. Inuyasha had him wrapped around his little finger especially since he agreed to procreate more often which meant more time rutting. Sesshoumaru was all for that.

“Inuyasha I don’t want to argue over this darling. I want you to just be your lovely self and do what I ask of you which I know is difficult for you. I need you to listen to my decisions and agree with my choices. You want to be the wife so this is what is expected of you my beloved.”

Inuyasha pouted and Sesshoumaru kissed those stubborn pouting lips.

“So sullen……I promise you my beautiful wife that you will have some say so. Just understand that as a Lord and Alpha I have to make the final decision.”

As they entered the ballroom, everyone bowed including several young children. Their own little ones were not brought into the room yet.

Inuyasha was stared at by all the Lords. The Lord of the South, Lord Hideharu couldn’t keep his eyes to himself. He was fascinated by Inuyasha and smitten with the tiny mate of Lord Sesshoumaru.

Kouga for once was behaving himself, but still blushed every so often finding himself tongue tied at the sight of Inuyasha dressed so elegantly and looking so damn gorgeous. It was almost too much to see Inuyasha dressed like a woman. It was like a fantasy that the wolf Prince had when they first met.

Lord Hideharu brought Shippo with him since he already had his children mated and most of his were adults with children of their own. He was at least 200 years Sesshoumaru’s senior and had immediately taken advantage of mating several different females before he confirmed himself a bachelor preferring the company of beautiful young men to young women. He had his heirs so there was no need to pretend to be interested in the females the bored him.

“You are exquisite.”

Lord Hideharu stated to Inuyasha who just Kehed at the fox demon having no interest in hanging out with the leering fox for too long.

Inuyasha had the same problem with the Lord of the East, Lord Ken the fire demon Lord that could care less that Inuyasha was male although the man usually preferred women. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha’s children were said to be beautiful and strong. He had no children of his own and did not consider doing so until he saw the incredible beauty Inuyasha the first time. After that he believed he was in love with the tiny Inu hanyou and swore he would give up everything to claim the creature he had become obsessed with. All he had to offer the Inu Tashios was a few nieces and nephews much like the Lord of the South.

“Indeed my dear, you are a vision of loveliness.”

Lord Ken interjected as he came forward to kiss the hand of Inuyasha who could care less either of them existed.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes at the fawning Lords. Even Kouga was being annoying.

“Look, what kids did ya bring because me and my mate don’t have time for a bunch of bullshit.”

Sesshoumaru was going to pull Inuyasha aside to ask him to watch how he spoke to the Lords, but the idiots found Inuyasha’s upfront blunt way of speaking charming. They actually were falling all over themselves and so Sesshoumaru was glad that Inuyasha was being crude. He hoped it would eventually turn them off. Unfortunately it was also making him rather jealous since Inuyasha should only be by him and talk to him in such a familiar way.

Lord Ken chuckled. He loved how blunt Inuyasha was and brought forth his young niece. She was quite well mannered and Inuyasha was impressed by the child although her Uncle was downright annoying. He was more interested in talking to Inuyasha about himself then promoting his niece and allowing Inuyasha time to get to know her.

Finally Sesshoumaru arrived to save Inuyasha from the doting Lords that were making him insane.

“I think the only one of these assholes worth our time is the fleabag wolf. At least he got a hint and the five pups are his and Ayame’s boys. We know them, they are loyal and it would be a good match. If you agree my love.”

Sesshoumaru looked at Shippo.

“I have decided that Fuu will go to Shippo. The boy is responsible and by the time he is mature he will be old enough to court and woo young Fuu for the time allotted.’
“I also agree most of the sons of Kouga will be appropriate. I do wish they were more refined, but we shall see how things progress as the evening goes.’
“I am however reluctant on his nieces as well as those of Lord Hideharu and Lord Ken. I believe they are all for show and although I appreciate our relations with the Ken clan, I find that mating our children to fire canines does not sit well with me. My family has many of their children mated to the Kens.’
“Let me introduce you to your Uncle Yuya. He is half Inu and half silver wolf. I believe that my nieces and nephews deserve a chance and it will give you an opportunity to get to know the rest of our family.”

Inuyasha was taken over to meet his Uncle who bowed to Inuyasha and also kissed his hand.

“I must say young nephew, you choose your mates well and it is no wonder you have hidden him from view. My young Inu hanyou nephew, you are indeed the highlight of my day with such beauty that I am incredibly envious of your mate.”

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru in confusion. Was family supposed to be like flirting with him?

“Ummmmm he is my Uncle right?”

Sesshoumaru smirked as his Mother approached overhearing the conversation.

“My dear pup you have been amongst humans too long. We will correct that as well. It is normal for our family to be quite flirtatious and have an interesting sense of humor right Yuya?”

Uncle Yuya bowed and smiled at the lovely vision before him since he had always coveted his brother’s mate since Louna was the fairest of all their siblings.

“Ah, the Angel doth approach. My dearest sister and mate, how do you fare today?”

Louna gave Yuya a small smile.

“I do well save my concerns for my boys and my Grandbabies. I find that I do not care for the lack of manners that the other Lords have shown to their hosts. I also am concerned about my son’s choice of mates for our pack. Although young Prince Kouga has been cordial, he is also rather crude as is his lifestyle.’
“Young Shippo is one I do not have a problem with allowing our little Fuu to be mated to when she comes of age, however his current guardian is one to be desired. Most of these lingering males do not respect our children’s desires looking for power and ways to weasel their way into our good graces as well as into young Inuyasha’s.”

Yuya frowned at that looking at the Lords staring at a mated pup like he was fresh meat.

“Yes, I see…..I will correct this immediately.”

With that Yuya kissed his mate on the cheek and left to deal with the Lords who were eyeing his nephews so familiarly. Even young Prince Kouga was going to get an earful.

“So my son you have made your choice so we may bring the pups out to meet those who are to be their intended?”

Sesshoumaru sighed.

“Mother you know that although Prince Kouga’s tribe may seem crude to us, they live like pure canines and therefore I have to at least offer him a chance.”

Louna did not like it one bit. She preferred to keep the Grandbabies in the family. There were plenty of suitable cousins to initiate the rites with.

“For treaty sake I see your point, but my personal opinions you know quite well. Your heir I assume will not be allying himself with the Ken clan.”

Sesshoumaru smiled wide.

“Of course not Mother. This is why I was introducing Inuyasha to our family. I was thinking of Airi.”

Louna was shocked. That was Sesshoumaru’s little sister from her union to Yuya.

“But, she is your sister and would be much older than your heir not that it matters. I would have assumed you would have picked Chiya. She was just born three days ago.”

Sesshoumaru loved his little sister who was just 30 years old and such a beautiful pup.

“Sesshoumaru I think Mother is right……..”

Inuyasha stated softly.

“Inuyasha you have not met Airi yet. You must meet her first and then you will see why I chose her for Akinori.”

Louna had the servants bring forward her baby and she held little Airi gently.

“Inuyasha meet your little sister Airi.”

Sesshoumaru stated proudly and Inuyasha smiled at the beautiful baby pup. She had thick silver hair and bright silvery eyes.

“She is beautiful. I agree with you Sesshoumaru. I think it will be a good match.”

Louna smiled and nodded. She didn’t think at first that Inuyasha would feel good about the match and as a woman she knew how wives rarely had a say so in these kinds of proceedings. It was good that Sesshoumaru was giving Inuyasha the opportunity to have some say in the choices he had to make for his kingdom.

Yuya returned and smiled down at his pup.

“Isn’t she a vision? Just like her Mother.”

Louna blushed as Yuya put his arm around her waist and looked down at his pup.

“Yes and we have decided to match her with my heir.”

Sesshoumaru stated making Yuya grin as he patted Sesshoumaru on the back.

“Good choice my boy, I am pleased you thought this out so well. It is best to keep the blood in the family as much as possible. So who have you considered for little Rin, Kagome, Hana, and Sango?”

Sesshoumaru thought of the Ken clan. One of the boys was about although it was not Lord Ken’s choice. He wanted his niece for the heir.

“For Kagome I have chosen Atsushi from the Ken clan. He is a toddler now and although he is with the nursemaid I see promise in the boy.’
“Sango will go to Prince Daichi of Prince Kouga’s clan. Since Princess Ayame and Prince Kouga have fought alongside us for years and the wolf tribes are loyal to us so I am showing them some favor. Hana will also go to his tribe to be mated to Fuyuki his eldest son who has wished to mate a Tashio and although I know he is currently mated he will freely unmate to remain loyal to one of our own. I also like that the wolves choose to mate for life although some mates do not work out even for those who hold these principals. I have faith however that Hana and Sango will be pleased with my choices.’
“I am still contemplating our little Rin. I am thinking of our family for her. It is a debate between Uncle Shiro’s young Gakuto or Hayao.”

Yuya smiled and looked Sesshoumaru in the eyes.

“If it were me I would choose Gakuto son. He is stronger and much more powerful than Hayao. Speed is one thing, but strength is what makes good pups.”

Sesshoumaru nodded and Inuyasha agreed. Rin would go to Gakuto.

Once the decisions were made the announcement was also made as the pups were brought forward. Lord Ken was not pleased, but he would take what he could get considering that it was his own fault he had no offspring of his own to offer for this first litter.

Inuyasha was pleased with the choices as well when the younglings were brought forward. All of them were strong and beautiful.

“Thank you Sesshoumaru for allowing me to help.”

Sesshoumaru smiled.

“I would not have it any other way my love.”
