When the brothers arrived at the castle Mother had everyone shooed out of the room they entered including the servants. It was the same down the hallway as servants scattered to do their work purposely ignoring the Inu Lords since everyone already knew what happened.

“Sesshoumaru I have the healer in your room. You can take our pup there…..poor baby…”

Mother gently rubbed Inuyasha’s shoulders and pulled him along as she cooed at him the rest of the way down the hall.

When they arrived at their bedroom, there was a kind looking gentleman who sat by the window waiting his patient. Healer Kang Woo was from the mainland, but had been serving the Tashio family as his Father and his Fathers before him.

“Inuyasha this is the family healer Kang Woo. He needs to examine you and then he has a potion to heal you and help your discomfort.”

Sesshoumaru stated firmly. Inuyasha figured the rest of the fucking planet had seen him naked so why not some dude from the mainland.

“Fine. Do whatever you do, just make the pain go away.”

Sesshoumaru smirked at Inuyasha who looked like a child in his haori. As the healer looked him over the only place he didn’t check made both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru feel some relief.

“An Inu hanyou should be able to heal quickly from the rape. A cat demon’s anatomy is to stimulate his mate by using the barb like tissue against the female feline. A female feline is built for such abuse, but a dog demon is not which is why such matings never work. It also can cause irreparable damage if practiced on a human.’
“However, male canine demons have been able to procreate with feline females without an issue. Their children are a bit odd, but that is another story. For now we will just administer the medicine and see how you fare young Lord Inuyasha.’
“I would suggest bed rest, but fact is the faster he is back to doing his normal routine the faster his psyche will heal. I also recommend a full healthy sex life with his mate. It will just take time for you both to get past this unfortunate event.”

With that the healer left the room leaving the two mates to think about what had been said. Louna also left feeling that the situation was well under control at this point.

Sesshoumaru wondered if having sex so soon after such a traumatic event was such a great idea. However when his demon initiated the act Inuyasha had indeed relaxed within him. Perhaps if he took things slow for a while, Inuyasha would eventually move forward. Sesshoumaru though didn’t know if he could. He still felt it was his fault that it ever happened.

Inuyasha was given some kind of medication. It made him sleepy, but it also helped the pain go away. In fact he felt pretty damn good on it.

“Hey Sess…….did I tell you that you are beautiful? Kind of like a woman……but not…..”

Sesshoumaru’s eyes went wide. Inuyasha was inebriated.

“Inuyasha I think you should rest now.”

Inuyasha flipped his arm.

“Nah….I am fine…….my ass don’t hurt….hell nothing hurts……Sess is the room supposed to spin?”

Inuyasha made the mistake of standing up and fainted dead away into Sesshoumaru’s arms.

“No, my dear it is not supposed to spin.”

Putting Inuyasha into bed and tucking him in Sesshoumaru decided not to stay with him for right now. His demon might initiate rutting and Inuyasha needed his rest.

As he entered the hallway his Mother was waiting for him.

“My son….you are suffering. Come talk to your Mother and we shall see what we can do to ease your mind.”

Louna could see the conflict in Sesshoumaru. He wanted to guard his mate, but at the same time he wanted to get away from Inuyasha afraid of what he might do. Inuyasha was vulnerable and wounded even more than the stubborn pup would admit to.

I do not wish to go far Mother. I made a vow on Father’s grave to not leave him alone…….”

Louna growled.

“That is foolish of you. We have guards for that. You both have to have some time apart or you will drive each other away. You wished to commit to Inuyasha, therefore you must be fair. You cannot cage him or yourself.”

Sesshoumaru had vowed on his Father’s grave. He couldn’t just take that back.

“I can’t just abandon my mate in his time of need nor can I leave him to become prey to some other enemy of our people.”

Mother sighed.

“Sesshoumaru, your Father would understand why you cannot keep your vow and you cannot always stop bad things happening. That is part of life.’
“Inuyasha is stronger then you give him credit for. He needs you to help him fight to have a normal life and if you coddle his fears then he will not move forward.’
“Let him express them to you and then show him that he has nothing to fear from you. Your demon understands this, you must too my son.”

At that she kissed Sesshoumaru’s cheek and left him to think upon her words. She would have to leave the castle after the showing of the pups and after mating arrangements were made. Louna would be damned if any of her precious little Grandbabies were to be mated to morons.

Sesshoumaru left to go sit with his mate. He knew he was being stubborn, but he refused to leave Inuyasha right now. Until Inuyasha really showed signs he was ok he would not allow anyone to deter him from this vigil.

Inuyasha woke up feeling rather dizzy and everything was a blur. He could smell Sesshoumaru next to him, but was unaware that his mate had fallen asleep in exhaustion from keeping a three day vigil over him. He never even knew he was out that long, but it was exactly enough time for him to heal completely.

“Sesshoumaru?”

Sesshoumaru’s demon was awake as usual and it responded immediately.

“Mate Inuyasha awake……..must hunt……must not leave mate Inuyasha vulnerable…mate Inuyasha how do both?”

Inuyasha yawned and shrugged.

“I guess you take me with you.”

Sesshoumaru’s demon scoffed.

“Mate cannot go with this Sesshoumaru….mate still need rest. What to do…….”

Sesshoumaru’s demon held his head in his hands in frustration. Inuyasha put a gentle hand on Sess’ shoulder.

“It is ok…..we can ring the bell and servants will hunt for us.”

Sesshoumaru whimpered.

“Not good Alpha mate…….cannot hunt for mate Inuyasha. Mate Inuyasha want others to do Alpha mate’s job.”

Inuyasha sighed.

“Look, just take me with you. It will be fine….”

Sesshoumaru shook his head no.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes as he got out of bed.

“Look ya big baby, I can stand……..”

At that Inuyasha almost fell. He hadn’t been walking for three days straight so his legs were not working right. Sesshoumaru caught his mate.

“No, mate must stay in bed……will go hunt….will hurry……Mother right…..vow stupid.”

At that Sesshoumaru turned into his dog demon form and jumped out the window. When he came back he arrived home with a deer and two more rabbits.

Inuyasha turned pale.

“Can’t eat raw meat again.”

Sesshoumaru’s demon cocked his head.

“Why? Inu demon mate Inuyasha. Need meat. Will make better. Then rut. Make mate happy.”

Inuyasha looked at the fireplace that had a small fire going. Grabbing one of the stakes he skewered the rabbit after Sesshoumaru used his claws to skin it. Then he showed Sesshoumaru’s demon how he liked his meat. Sesshoumaru’s demon kept getting close to the fire almost getting his hands burnt at the smell.

“Smell good mate Inuyasha……….Hn………”

It was kind of cute how Sesshoumaru’s demon reacted to the meat getting close enough to bite and smell it only to back away every time he got burnt.

Inuyasha helped Sesshoumaru skewer his meat onto one of the metal prongs by the fireplace. There the two of them sat cooking their rabbits.

“Mate Inuyasha………when rut…….feel pain?”

Sesshoumaru’s demon asked softly. He was worried he hurt his mate when they rutted.

“Some…..usually at first, well because you stretch me a bit before I am ready, but afterwards it feels good. You don’t hurt me like that bastard did.”

Sesshoumaru’s demon looked away from his mate.

“Do not want hurt mate…….will not rut if hurt………”

Inuyasha rolled his eyes and sighed.

“You really are a big softy ya lug, but fact is I enjoy rutting with you. You are my mate and you try to make it feel good.”

Sesshoumaru’s demon was confused. If Sesshoumaru had been aware of himself and not sleeping within his demon he could have ended this silly nonsense, but perhaps it was for the best that he was resting.

“But…..how come you scream? You yell at me mate Inuyasha, not like with bad evil cat bastard……but you scream. You have tears in eyes……..this Sesshoumaru is sorry for hurting mate. Want to make mate better.”

Inuyasha leaned over and kissed Sesshoumaru on his lips holding his face so that the demon was looking at him.

“My darling mate, you make me feel good. I scream at you because I was not ready for what we did together, but after I found out it felt good. I wanted to do it more. I want you to rut me because I love you and I love how you make me feel.”

Sesshoumaru’s demon dropped his skewer and pulled Inuyasha into his arms sobbing.

“So sorry hurt you mate Inuyasha, you hurt by bad demon, and you feared Alpha mate. I am glad you love this Sesshoumaru. I love mate so much. I die for you.”

Inuyasha held his beloved and allowed his own tears to fall from this confession. It was the one thing that he wanted to hear from Sesshoumaru. It was something that Sesshoumaru himself would have a hard time doing, but this was like Inuyasha’s human times. Demon Sesshoumaru could show all his feelings easier than the other side of Sesshoumaru.

It would have been so confusing to explain all the sides of themselves to anyone else, but to the two mates this odd combination of themselves was perfectly normal. Inuyasha loved all sides of Sesshoumaru and Sesshoumaru in turn loved all sides of Inuyasha.

Inuyasha knew he would be ok and now with Sesshoumaru’s strength he would be able to get back to everything being normal. Sesshoumaru would die for him and Inuyasha knew he would do the same for Sesshoumaru except he would never tell Sesshoumaru that. If he did Sesshoumaru no matter what part of him was speaking would go ballistic.

“Shhhhh……….shhhh big guy……it’s ok…….”

This time Inuyasha rocked Sesshoumaru until the demon calmed down.

“Hey, how about we make love Sess? I can teach you how. It is like rutting, but slower.”

Sesshoumaru’s demon looked a little worried.

“Is mate Inuyasha sure won’t hurt?”

Inuyasha pulled Sesshoumaru’s hand toward the bed.

“I am going to remove your clothing Sesshoumaru.”

Sesshoumaru backed away.

“Can do self………me Alpha male not mate……..”

Inuyasha rolled his eyes and pulled Sesshoumaru over to him as Sesshoumaru fought with is clothing.

“Part of making love is allowing your mate to help undress you. You are still my Alpha.”

Sesshoumaru looked unsure about that, but shrugged. He wanted to know what make love was. If it was part of rutting then it must be good.

“Ok mate Inuyasha….you show…….”

Inuyasha helped Sesshoumaru undress while sliding his naked body against his mate’s clothed one making Sesshoumaru moan a bit. As he removed cloths Inuyasha licked his mate’s skin and gave him butterfly kisses all over making Sesshoumaru’s demon purr in happiness.

“This Sesshoumaru likes….mate Inuyasha may continue with lesson…”

Inuyasha smiled. He would have Sesshoumaru’s demon become putty in his hands.

“Now I am going to give you a massage.”

Sesshoumaru lifted his eyebrow and waited to see what this was.

“Ok lay down on the bed...”

Sesshoumaru’s demon crossed his arms shaking his head.

“No……will not be below mate…….am Alpha……….”

Inuyasha sighed.

“You are still my Alpha, now just lay down and I will give you something great.”

Sesshoumaru’s demon complied, but wasn’t too thrilled about it until Inuyasha started and then Sesshoumaru started to feel nice and relaxed.

“Why do this for this Sesshoumaru? This Sesshoumaru should be doing for mate Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha smirked a bit. He loved pampering his mate. It made him forget completely about what happened and he got to teach Sesshoumaru something for a change. That was partially why he loved Sesshoumaru’s demon.

“Next time you can do it for me. I am teaching you how to make me happy and how to make you happy too. I want us to always feel like this Sess.”

As soon as he was done with the massage he put his mouth on Sesshoumaru’s erection. Just as Sesshoumaru’s demon was about to protest it then whimpered at the awesome feeling. As Inuyasha’s head bobbed up and down Sesshoumaru thought he was in doggie heaven. Soon Sesshoumaru woke up, but he could not fight his demon self yet. The demon wanted to feel this and yet he was feeling it at the same time. Inuyasha was truly amazing and Sesshoumaru laid back enjoying this pleasure.

As Sesshoumaru came close to cumming Inuyasha was pulled off of him.

“Now want to rut. Will tell if hurts mate Inuyasha?”

Inuyasha out of breath nodded.

“Now use the oil first you or put some in me with your finger. Either way, swirl your finger with oil inside me to make sure I am not still cut up in there. Then we can rut.”

Demon Sesshoumaru nodded and smiled. He was happy he was going to get to rut his mate and not cause his mate pain. He now knew what to do for mate Inuyasha before rutting.

“Does this feel nice mate…………”

Inuyasha moaned in pleasure as that finger slid around inside him making contact with his prostate gland which was now healed.

“Yesssss……now put another finger inside with the oil and open and close them so you will stretch me a little……..”

Inuyasha stated breathlessly. It felt so nice. Sesshoumaru’s demon smirked.

“Now tell this Sesshoumaru what mate Inuyasha wants.”

Inuyasha then hated this part, but after a while it felt good.

“Now you put one more finger in with the oil and stretch me some more, but be careful of your claws. I will relax in a minute.”

Sesshoumaru nodded. Inuyasha grit his teeth as the third finger entered except found he was pleasantly surprised. It didn’t hurt like the first time with the demon Sesshoumaru. Those claws could be rather painful since his claws grew longer when he was in demon form although the pleasure was always worth it.

“Like this?”

Inuyasha moaned in pleasure.

“Ya…….that feels incredible……..”

Demon Sesshoumaru smiled as he slowly rutted his mate with his fingers.

“Now may rut?”

Inuyasha nodded his head yes unable to come up with words since he felt so damn good.

“Want slow rut?”

Demon Sesshoumaru stated as he positioned himself while waiting for Inuyasha to tell him what he wanted.

“Yes go slow and then speed up slowly. Continue thrusting though and don’t stop.”

Inuyasha stated wanting to whimper when those wonderful fingers removed themselves.

With his mate’s consent Sesshoumaru slowly pushed his length into Inuyasha. His girth was what always caught Inuyasha off guard when he just slammed it home, but this time Sesshoumaru took his time gritting his own teeth since the demon wanted to just rut as before.

Still, mate Inuyasha was hurt and said hurt when rutted. Would not hurt if Sesshoumaru did as mate Inuyasha said. Did not want to hurt mate, loved and adored beautiful mate.

Inuyasha felt some discomfort, but not pain. And then the slow thrusting began. Inuyasha rolled his hips a bit since the demon didn’t know how to do that.

Sesshoumaru moaned at the new sensations and the tightness. It was good. It was hard to keep at a slow pace. Soon he had to grasp Inuyasha’s muscular hips and start thrusting at demon speed. Inuyasha was prepared for that this time and both came hard roaring at the same time. It was the most intimate and beautiful moment both mates had ever experienced.

“I love you Sesshoumaru……..”

Inuyasha stated panting leaning back to kiss his mate.

“I love you too my beloved.”

Inuyasha realized that Sesshoumaru had woken up and that he was speaking through his demon. They were finally one.
