Chapter 16

Kagome awoke for the first time in days to feeling warm and comfortable. She tried to sit up but found herself glued to her sleeping bag. That's when she felt the weight around her waist. She looked down to see an arm circling her waist. She slowly turned her head to look behind her and stopped when her gaze met golden ones.

"Good morning."

"So it would seem." Sesshoumaru knew she was awake and was expecting her to scream at him or something. What he didn't expect was for her to calmly say good morning. He moved his head to her neck and licked at his mark. "We could make it an even better morning."

Kagome felt his tongue on her throat and could feel lips and fangs caressing her skin. She shivered at the feel of his fangs on her throat but when they slightly entered her mating mark she couldn't stop the groan that escaped her mouth. All he has to do is touch my mark and I am ready for him. She reached behind her and slowly caressed his hip.

Sesshoumaru could tell by her scent that she was ready for him already. He felt her hand on his hip and knelt on the bag and drew Kagome back onto her knees and hands. With one quick thrust he was in her. Her tight walls slid against his erection coating it with her fluids.

He reached under her and pulled her nipple into a tight peak while his other hand slid around her waist and found her center and the nub he had been searching for. He pulled at it with his finger and thumb being careful of his claws then he rubbed his fingers over it in circles. She was moving herself back against him as he thrust deeply into her. He felt her walls tighten around him and before he could stop it he felt his climax joining hers. He howled again and bit into her neck as they both shuddered from their climaxes. He licked at her neck and when they were both calmed down he withdrew from her and picked her up to return to the river.

Kagome didn't know what came over her. All he did was lick her neck and she got turned on. Kagome felt him bathe her then dry her and carry her back to her sleeping bag. She was tired so she returned to sleep.

Sesshoumaru could tell that she wasn't totally awake when they mated a little while ago. He didn't want to hear her shouts of rage at being his mate so he distracted her and when he sank his fangs into her neck for the second time he released a little of his poison into her system. After adjusting it so that it would put her to sleep and not harm her in any other way. He lay down beside her and thought about all that happened. He didn't know what came over them last night but he would find out. After making sure that Kagome was asleep he dressed and entered the forest. Making sure that he was far enough away not to disturb her he called for Au Un.

Ah and Un heard Sesshoumaru call for them. Ah turned to Un

"You had better go this time." Un nodded and entered the orb to confront the angry lord. He found him in the forest away from the miko.

"My Lord." Sesshoumaru glared at the dragon figure in front of him.

"Would you like to explain what happened last night?" Un could tell his master was not in the best mood.

"Not really."

"Did you honestly think that I was giving you a choice?" Sesshoumaru glared at Un and waited for his answer. Un sighed he would have to tell his master what they had done.

"We thought we would help you along with the miko. I don't know about you but we are getting tired of being in the cave. We thought that if we sped things up we could leave earlier." Un stood still and waited for Sesshoumaru to try and kill him or something like that.

"What exactly did you do?" Sesshoumaru cracked his fingers and was waiting for an answer. Well they would have found out sooner or later.

"We caused Kagome to go into heat. It worked quite well with it being a full moon last night."

"Exactly how did you make her go into heat?" Sesshoumaru wasn't sure that he wanted to know the answer to that.

"Ah used an ancient spell to cause it. It seems to have worked quite well. If I may say so myself." Un smiled at the irked demon lord in front of him.

Sesshoumaru knew he couldn't harm the being in front of him but that didn't stop him from slicing it in half with his whip. How dare they mess with his life more than they already have? When Un didn't appear before him again he turned and headed back to camp. He found Kagome still asleep. He looked down at her body and he gathered her clothes and dressed her. He wanted to retrieve the children but he didn't want them around when she woke up. He knew that they had things to discuss. Things children shouldn't hear. Sesshoumaru gathered her into his arms and sat down in front of the tree across from her sleeping bag and waited for her to wake up.

~ Inuyasha's Forest~

Kikyo had waited all night and still no Inuyasha. She decided to wait another night before going in search of the hanyou. If she didn't get him to drink her potion before the next night he would no longer be under her control.

Kikyo awoke the next morning worried when Inuyasha hadn't showed up. She set out to find the contrary hanyou. I just know my reincarnate had something to do with his disappearance. Leave it up to her to destroy my plan. She called her soul stealers to her and they picked her up to take her to the Western Lands.

~ Western Palace ~

Sango awoke stiff from her bout of fighting the demons Kitaro had let her spar with. To bad he didn't choose to fight me himself. She would like nothing better than to wipe the floor with his overbearing self. He had a lot of nerve. What made him go along with Inuyasha's stupid plan anyway? And the way they were laughing about what they had done to Kagome.

She could see them doing it to Sesshoumaru as revenge of some sort for all the things he has done to Inuyasha and Kagome. But what did Kagome ever do besides love Inuyasha and stand by his side no matter what idiotic thing he had done. She knew that there is no love lost between Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha but for him to say that Kagome was mated to his brother. That was really strange. Come to think of it Inuyasha had been acting a little odd lately. She knew he had been visiting Kikyo just about every night now. Well except for last night. He stayed in the palace. He must be taking the duty his brother gave him to heart. Was he finally growing up? Well enough thinking about them. She had to get dressed for the day.

She stood up and removed the sleeping yukata when a knock sounded on her door. It was probably the maid that came to escort her to the dining room.

"Enter"

Kitaro waited till late in the morning for the slayer to emerge from her room but when she didn't arrive in the dining room he went to find her. He knocked on her door and when she called for him to enter he opened the door expecting to find her either still in bed or staring out the window at the garden.

He didn't expect to find her with barely any clothes on. He froze at the sight before him. She was standing in the middle of the room with the sleeping yukata at her feet. She had slips of material covering her breast and a small bit of fabric covering her lower area. He had never seen anything so enticing before in his life.

Sango turned when the maid made no sound and found herself looking at the demon general himself. She almost laughed at seeing his mouth hanging open and his eyes looking like they would fall out of his head. But then she remembered her state of dress. She reached down and threw the yukata back on and grabbed the closest thing she could to throw at him. She picked up a vase on the table and threw it at the general.

"Hentai!" She expected him to duck or at least dodge it. She got a shock when he stood there and let it crash into his head.

Kitaro was in shock from the sight he had just seen. When the slayer yelled and called him a hentai he came out of his shock but not soon enough to avoid the vase she threw at him. He felt the water and flowers fall down into his face and shook his head to get them off of him.

"Why are you calling me a hentai? You shouldn't have told me to enter if you were not decent." Sango stared at him in shock. He was right it wasn't his fault that he walked in on her but he should have left when he saw that she wasn't decent.

"Well you should have left."

"I couldn't have if I wanted to. Besides why would I want to deny myself the opportunity of seeing you look like a goddess?" He shook his head again to get some more of the water out of his hair. "What is up with you constantly getting my fur wet?" He brought his tail in front of him and gently wrung the water out of it. "I know, you decided to take me up on my offer to brush it for me."

Sango couldn't believe the words coming out of the general's mouth. She growled at him and before he could stop her she pushed him out of her room and slammed the door in his face. The nerve of that demon. She hastily got dressed just in case he decided to come back into her room and then rushed out of her room to go get something to eat. She ran into a stonewall when she tried to leave her room and started to fall backwards. She felt herself stop falling and looked up to find the general smirking at her.

Kitaro smiled down at the slayer he now held in his arms. He waited for a few minutes for Sango to get dressed and was about to knock on her door to see if she would like to go eat with him when she suddenly opened it and ran into him. He caught her before she fell and took delight in holding her in his arms. He couldn't help but tease her.

"I know you like me and everything but you should try to refrain from throwing yourself into my arms. You might try to play hard to get. After all us inu-youkai's just love a good chase." Sango was speechless at his words. For about a second. She jerked herself out of his arms and glared at him.

"Like I would throw myself into your arms. Let alone play hard to get for you." Sango drew back her arm and slapped his face and then pushed him out of her way and stormed down the hall to the dining room.

Kitaro smiled and rubbed his cheek as he watched her walk down the hall. Let the chase begin.
