Too Much Time On Their Hands

After a long rest from the flight and getting on the internet to check that all reservations were done properly Sesshoumaru was ready to go. He couldn’t sleep long and was getting bored waiting for everyone to get up so he forced Inuyasha to wake up. All he had to do was tell Tsukiya it was pizza time and he was up ready for his parents to get him dressed plus groomed to go.

Inuyasha went into the bathroom to get his hair combed and clothes straightened out. He didn’t want to get too fancy for tonight and told Sesshoumaru not to either. Of course Sesshoumaru was dressed up a bit wearing a light blue button down sweater tucked into his light blue jeans, his black belt with the silver buckle representing his truest form that he loved more than any other, and a pair of tan hiking boots. Inuyasha was just in a black t shirt with Japanese phrases for popular skater companies since he was into that now and dark green cargo oversized pants with tons of pockets wearing black converse shoes looking like a skater. Tsukiya looked like his Father except with a bright orange t shirt over his blue jeans and small hiking boots.

Sesshoumaru took one look at Inuyasha and shook his head. He gave up on making him dress at least a little less like a punk. Still it wasn’t as bad as the other outfit he tried to get him to take off two days ago that looked like it had been shredded yet this was the new ‘in style’ thing you paid fifty to two hundred dollars for. What was the damn point of that when he could shred it for free?

“Inuyasha, do you really have to wear that? I thought we bought you some nicer things.”

Inuyasha looked at his clothing.

“I just bought this and it is totally hot.”

Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes and gave up. He would let Inuyasha wear this for one night, but after tonight he was going to burn every single one of those damn outfits. Trying to stay pleasant Sesshoumaru smiled and looked at Tsukiya who was dressed like a normal five year old unlike his mate who was acting like a five year old brat and looked like a hoodlum.

"So I guess you two are ready to get pizza faced. Do you want to catch one of the trains, trolleys, or do you wish to walk Inuyasha?"

Inuyasha smirked since he was indeed ready for some of that sourdough pizza. That is what he had been dreaming about on the plane. Just the thought of that delicious bread made his mouth water. Sesshoumaru figured when it came to food his brother was not one to turn a good thing down.

"I want to walk. We can take one of the trolleys later. I want to take Tsukiya to see this place. It is such a big city and it looks like there is a lot to do here."

Sesshoumaru smiled. He was glad since he did want to walk. Tsukiya would be carried on their shoulders once he got tired. The five year old right now was a bundle of energy and needed the exercise as they started walking up the hills then down again towards the Piers knowing exactly where they wanted to go. Sesshoumaru was good with directions so they did not need a map. He had all of their routes figured out.

In the air they could smell fish, paint, sea water, humans, hanyous, and a whole lot of demons. This place seemed to be damn full of demons that did not hide their scent at all. It was almost overwhelming since in Japan they insisted on hiding such things. This was a refreshing change even with all the other strange smells.

The United States is strange and people from all different places of the world were here. Not just one culture of people. Not one single group lived here and they all seemed to be happy for the most part considering Sesshoumaru felt that chaos in a city was a normal thing. If humans were killing each other that was even better so this place was wonderful. He read some local news on the internet and was pleased to see most of the people who acted stupid in this place were humans with a few demons following in their footsteps who didn’t know they were not human. That was ok, there were plenty of demons here he could convince to come back under his rule and with his guidance would do fine so they could flourish here as well as in Japan.

Sesshoumaru liked China Town, but wanted to go to the Piers more than the shops at that point. They would be going upstairs to the restaurant there and perhaps even take the tour of the factory at Boudins.

Walking along the sidewalk Sesshoumaru made sure to avoid the wild drunk people and anyone who would cause them trouble. The city was big and in some places it smelled horrible. It was also very loud. Even Tsukiya did not like some of the smells, but soon they came to their destination.

"This is the place to get pizza faced baby."

Inuyasha stated with a big grin looking at Sesshoumaru then kissing his cheek. Holding his hand they walked into the restaurant. People stared, but most were not rude. There were a few looks that made Sesshoumaru wish to smack people or kill them. He could not decide what he wanted to do first.

It had to be Inuyasha’s fault for dressing up like this since what he read in his mind was that people did not understand how such a well dressed teenage young man could shack up with a skater boy. It wasn’t even the gay thing they were concerned about so that was a weird turn of events. The worst part of it all though was they thought the little boy was their little brother and not their son. Were these people blind or just stupid?

Walking up to the counter he made sure they had their table reserved as they headed up to the restaurant. They all watched in the glass all the bread that was being baked and smelled its wonderful aroma. Inuyasha felt like he was in heaven.

"I am so hungry I can't wait."

Inuyasha stated with a wide grin after they were seated.

"Me too Mommy. I can't wait to eat."

Tsukiya said in Japanese. They had only taught Tsukiya a tiny bit of English. It was better this way since this was a place they would only visit once in a great while. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha spoke perfect English so they could explain things to Tsukiya as people here spoke either English or Spanish it seemed like. There were other dialects, but it was rare to hear them.

"Daddy look over there it is an Angel."

Sesshoumaru looked over at where Tsukiya was pointing. There was a young demon woman with her son sitting across from them. She was dressed quite nicely as was her son. Still she was not an Angel. She was a demon, cat demon to be precise.

"Tsukiya it is rude to point. That Lady is not an Angel. She is a cat demon."

Inuyasha looked over at the woman in curiosity leaning in his chair making it obvious he was staring at her not even caring that it might be considered rude.

"She looks like an Angel to me. Huh......."

Sesshoumaru was getting irritated at his family. They were staring at her and that was not appropriate.

"She has her son and probably has a mate so you both should not stare at her. It will probably make her very uncomfortable not to mention I do not wish to have problems with some man having a fit because you are staring at her Inuyasha."

Sesshoumaru growled to his mate who suddenly sat up as though he was not doing anything wrong. Tsukiya was already gone from the table as he ran over to the Lady who was in shock to see a tiny silver haired boy with golden eyes staring up at her son.

"Hi."

Tsukiya greeted the boy who had green eyes with gold in them. Tsukiya liked the way the boy smelled.

"Hello yourself."

The older boy stated irritated. His Mother growled at him telling him not to be rude.

"Hello nice to meet you. Looks like you got lost from your table kiddo. What can we do for you?"

The Lady stated in a soft voice with smiling eyes. Tsukiya smiled and looked at her with his toothless grin. It was too damn cute.

"No my Daddy is right here see. I am not lost."

Tsukiya stated as Sesshoumaru looked down at his son in embarrassment as well as getting ready to scold him. Tsukiya ignored his Daddy though.

"Is your Daddy here?"

Tsukiya asked the boy who suddenly looked very sad than angry and turned away. The Lady growled again at her son's behavior. He was being such a brat and had been ever since his Dad died after their divorce years ago. They had loved each other even after the divorce, but things had driven them apart and then he had died. This was still no reason to be rude. They could not change the things that happened and she still mourned him too. It did not mean though that they would be rude to others for asking. It was not their fault. The little five year old baby didn't know that her son's Father was dead.

"Young man you will be polite to people. He asked you a question and you have no reason to act like this.'
"No sweetie his Daddy is in heaven. I am glad you have yours here though so that I know you are not lost. I don't think I would want to lose someone as special as you. Have a good dinner."

The Lady said smiling, but there was a small bit of sadness in her eyes.

"I apologize for my son, he did not mean any harm and I am sorry to bother you."

Sesshoumaru stated softly, but the Lady smiled up at him.

"It is ok. He is welcome to visit us."

When the woman smiled at Sesshoumaru he felt his heart racing and felt a bit flushed. He had to get away or he would do something stupid like invite them over. Inuyasha would hate that or so he thought. Sesshoumaru felt there was no way he could interfere with someone from here and they were just trying to have a family evening like he was.

"Do you want to eat with us? We have room. This is my first time in America."

Tsukiya piped up. He was not about to let his Daddy ruin this chance for them. The Lady blushed and Sesshoumaru turned even redder. Then Inuyasha showed up.

"Yes please join us. We could use the company and yours would be very welcome."

Inuyasha stated in a very flirtatious tone. Sesshoumaru about growled at Inuyasha wanting to smack him. His family was becoming embarrassing and he was trying so hard not to let the demon anger come out. This was the last thing they needed right now.

"I don't know.........."

Sesshoumaru then sighed knowing what would happen if she and her son did not come over to their table. They would end up here all night long and he would have to chase his family back to their table apologizing to the Lady all night long.

"If you and your son would join us I would appreciate it since they will come over here all night if you do not. My son seems to make friends everywhere. I am sorry about all of this, we are new here and we should not be bothering you."

The Lady's son looked at her with this withering look of please don't do this to me. The Lady felt that after her son's bad attitude it seemed a fitting punishment for his rude behavior.

"If you really don't mind then ok......."

Tsukiya was already yanking on her to get up. He wanted this Lady and her growling son to sit with them. He liked making new friends and even if this boy did not want to be he was going to be his friend. Tsukiya wanted the pretty green eyed boy to like him and both his parents liked the Lady. He would make them happy and get a big brother in the process if he had his way.

Sesshoumaru got a bunch of dirty looks from men at the other tables who had been eyeing the woman and her son. It seemed some of them had been waiting all night for her mate to show up since it seemed that many were seeing her as fair game. Now that they knew for a fact she was single sitting with two men would make it impossible for them to bother her.

Seats were rearranged as the Lady and her son joined the three demons. They had not ordered yet and when the Lady suggested separate checks for her orders Sesshoumaru would not have it. They invaded her and her son’s time so the least he could do was pay for the meal.

Inuyasha was damn near drooling at the Lady and making a complete idiot of himself as far as Sesshoumaru was concerned. Inuyasha was practically on his knees drooling at her feet. Sesshoumaru watched the Lady’s reactions trying not to strangle his mate and felt bad that they had not asked their names yet.

“I am sorry to interrupt, but we did not inquire about your names. I am Tatsuyoshi Kiyoto Tashio. This is my younger brother Shiro Fuyuki Tashio and my son Tsukiya Seishirou Tashio.”

The Lady indeed felt bad about the fact she did not mention their names. Introductions were important when meeting people.

“Oh, I am sorry. My name is Megan Alene Thomas and this is my son Jimmy Abalendu Thomas. It is very nice to meet you both.”

Sesshoumaru smiled since they had very soft names that suited them well. They were not difficult to say and he would remember them easily. Sesshoumaru had not said one word after that as Inuyasha seemed to take over most of the conversation as usual.

Tsukiya seemed to be prodding Jimmy about games that the boy played on his computer. So far Tsukiya found he hit the jackpot as far as getting that green eyed grump Jimmy to finally open up to him once he brought up video games. Then they were talking like they knew each other for years and Jimmy was impressed with the five year old since most kids that age were annoying as hell. Tsukiya was very articulate and polite not annoying him except in the beginning since he expected this kid to be climbing all over the place.

“So Megan, what do you do for a living?”

Inuyasha asked licking his lips and trying to get his erection to go down since he wanted to jump across the table to ravish the cat demoness that was driving him wild. This woman was so hot and he was drowning. If Sesshoumaru was not going to take advantage of that wonderful smell he sure as hell was not going to ignore it. Inuyasha knew that Sesshoumaru was very pissed off at him, but at this point he did not care. It was interesting to see his brother growling like a jealous beast since it was about damn time Sesshoumaru stopped being such a wimp around him.

Sesshoumaru's demon could not decide who to be jealous over, his brother hitting on Megan, or the fact he wanted the woman too even though he was willing himself to deny it with every fiber of his being.

“I work for the government, but I plan on finishing school to become a radiologist doing x-rays, MRI’s, or ultrasounds. I haven’t decided yet. People are needed in that field and I don’t really have to deal with customers like I do now. Working in an office is something anyone could do. I think it would be more rewarding to work for a hospital then keep doing as I am doing now.”

The waiter came back with their drinks. Inuyasha had ordered a local beer from the bar. Sesshoumaru had some white wine and Tsukiya had a cola. Jimmy had a cola too and Megan had iced tea.

“You may have a beer or something more if you want Megan.”

Inuyasha stated softly. He wanted her inebriated and hanging on him. Inuyasha would give anything to get her tongue to loosen up or anything like her clothing for example. It was too warm here to wear clothing anyway. She was as wound up tight as his brother and if she would just loosen a few buttons he could see right down her shirt like he wanted to.

“No, I have to drive. I don’t drink anymore.”

Politely refusing the offer Megan answered with a soft smile. Megan could feel the tension grow between the brothers. The eldest seemed to be the more stable of the two, but he was indeed one of those men that seemed like the type who was quick to anger although he would probably wait until later to blow up at his brother.

Megan liked them both, but felt strange accepting their hospitality and the younger seemed so damn young even if their eyes did show that they were not as young as they seemed. It was not that they even had wrinkles because they did not. It was the depth of their almost hypnotic stares as though they were speaking some unknown language to one another and the way the eldest acted he was very aristocratic as well as old fashioned in the way he was behaving acting like a man rather than a boy.

Also their shoulders were too broad to make them the teenage boys they appeared to others. Few would notice such things, but Megan studied a little bit of anatomy so she knew from her own experience with her late husband how a man’s body changed once he reached his prime in life. Neither one of them could hide how well built they were and the younger seemed to like showing off his ‘guns’ as they called them these days. It was an annoying masculine term that seemed so vain and stupid.

They were from Japan and not from here so she did not wish to make them not feel welcome. There were enough rude Americans to do that and she refused to be one of them unless they intended to cause her problems. Still she could not just let them buy her dinner like this. Megan figured she would probably end up arguing with Tatsuyoshi later about it. It might be their way of doing things, but it was not hers.

Sesshoumaru had enough of Inuyasha and politely excused himself for a moment before he smacked his little brother across the restaurant. His mate was acting like a fool and Sesshoumaru could tolerate it no more. If he did not leave he would do something he would regret in front of people he liked.

Inuyasha did the same with a smile leaving Megan with the two kids. Megan sighed softly. It was nice to have these two handsome men acting so polite to her, but she was not stupid. The younger of the two was getting on her last nerve. She was not going to get drunk or go home with him.

Sesshoumaru stepped outside clenching his fists in fury. Inuyasha came out and Sesshoumaru in a blink of his eyes pinned him to a wall away from everyone in a dark part of the Pier.

“What the fuck are you doing little brother? You are my mate and you are flirting with Megan like a whore in heat!”

Inuyasha smirked. This was the brother he remembered. This was the Sesshoumaru he knew so very well and he was glad he was back.

“Damn it took you that long to blow up? I guess I wasn’t flirting enough with that sexy beautiful little demon. Megan is hot, but damn you turn me on right now Sesshoumaru.”

Sesshoumaru blinked twice. Was this some sort of game? It wasn’t funny.

“Inuyasha that woman and her son are not your play things for you to use to get me to blow up at you. This is not one of our sex games and I do not find you amusing right now.”

Sesshoumaru stated growling as his eyes went red.

“Oh, you think that is what this is Sesshoumaru. I see your train of thought. You forgot didn’t you? Our female mate so we can have more kids. I think I found her and I have to thank our son for his excellent taste. Megan smells great and looks even better.”

Inuyasha stated softly as Sesshoumaru set his brother down. Sesshoumaru looked into Inuyasha’s eyes to see if he was messing with him. Unfortunately Inuyasha was not since he was dead serious. The damn pup was smitten and would not be able to stop acting like a love sick fool in front of this woman.

Sesshoumaru put a hand to his head. This was not happening. It was a fucking nightmare and a headache. He came here to get away from the world not invite more people into their lives. Sure Megan turned him on and she did smell good. God she looked and smelled better than good, but that was not the point.

“Fine I agree with you as far as attraction goes, but she doesn’t seem to have that kind of interest in either one of us. Look at her and really listen to her. Megan for once does not find either of us interesting. I was shocked a bit, but fact is she is far from being ready to date anyone. Just because we both have waited over a thousand years for a woman like her does not mean she is the one.”

Inuyasha frowned and then rolled his eyes. Sesshoumaru was going about this all wrong.

“You don’t get it do you? Megan doesn’t know it, but she is the one. I am telling you Sesshoumaru I feel it and I always go with my gut feelings. So fucking what if she isn’t interested right now. We are just making friends with her although I would love to do more.’
“Can’t you imagine it Sesshoumaru? I can imagine her in between us screaming our names in passion. I want it so damn bad I am sporting a fucking hard on that won’t go away. I am just glad no one has noticed and that I am wearing baggy pants so they don’t see. I want to fuck both of you so bad right now I am hurting and I have been trying all this time to think about anything else.’
“I know part of the reason you did not get up for a long time from the table to cuff me on the back of my head like you kept thinking about doing was you had that same issue for a while since you are sitting so damn close to her. How can you fucking resist that Sesshoumaru?’
“I am sorry, if I am acting like an idiot with her. I can’t help it. I have not felt this way in years so if I am indeed making an ass out of myself part of it is I have not been around women that interest me in the slightest since Kagome.’
“It has been even longer for you since you indulged in a woman and I can smell your interest in her. I smell your arousal and it fucking turns me on making me into a bigger idiot around her. It isn’t just her I am flirting with. I am flirting with you too. So if you are pissed off then you need to blame yourself too since your delicious sexy male scent has me reeling. Your scent keeps growing and it is even affecting her even though she is trying to deny it. I can see it in her eyes.’
“You are marking your territory like a feral beast growling at the damn men who have been looking at her from the other tables. I have been doing the same shit and I know you smell it. I feel young and happy though so I don’t care. I love this and we have not ever been this close to something we both have wanted in a long time.’
“Tsukiya isn’t going to just let Jimmy go you know. What are you going to tell our son? He can’t hang out or call Jimmy because we are too bad ass to get to know his hot Mom? I just have a feeling about her Sesshoumaru. Give this one a chance ok?’
“I want to have more kids with you and we can’t do that on our own. Tsukiya deserves to have more siblings and it seems like that kid Jimmy could really use a Dad even if it was not our intention to take on another kid that was not of our blood. Can’t you see they need us?”

Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes. Inuyasha was going to drive him insane.

“Fine we will try this out, but do not push so damn much or you are going to push her away. Megan is not the kind of woman you just get to jump into bed with you Inuyasha. You have to woo her to win her and she is old enough to know all the damn tricks of the dating game. In other words she knows exactly what you want from her and you are not getting any from her tonight. You and I may not get any sex from her at all ever in any lifetime so don't get your hopes up.’
“I am not too worried about it. I have you to take when the lust comes on so strong so I can handle this. You are still young though so it may be harder for you to control. I understand that. I just wish you would stop being so damn pushy with Megan since you almost made her leave twice. ‘
“I am going to have an issue with this independent bitch because she wants to pay for her meal. I can’t have it and I don’t know how I am going to win that argument. She thinks we may be buying her and her kid. I don’t want Megan to get that impression of us do you?’
“Also it would be nice if others could talk to Megan too since you have taken up most of the conversation this evening. I tried twice to talk to her and you just barreled over me. How many times do I go out of my way to talk to anyone Inuyasha?”

Inuyasha frowned since he did not realize he did that. He had been just so excited to feel like he found their female that all he could think about was how beautiful her son Jimmy was and how beautiful their children would be with such a woman. He wanted another baby so bad and loved Tsukiya so much that he did not want his son to be alone. They both felt the same way. It was just hard to get Sesshoumaru out to meet anyone. Tsukiya finding Megan was like finding the perfect jewel hidden in a mountain of gold.

“I will do my best to chill out a bit. We need to get back. It is rude for us to leave her with the kids.”

Sesshoumaru nodded. He felt better now though. Inuyasha had really pissed him off and was still not off the hook yet. His son was not helping his temper either. Tsukiya could not have every damn thing he wanted since people were not to be used by them. Tsukiya needed discipline too since the pup was too used to getting what he wanted. It was time for Sesshoumaru to start putting his foot down.

“Yes indeed it is rude of us to be out here. I hope she does not think ill of us for this and I pray I don’t look like a monster right now.”

Inuyasha smirked at his brother as people started backing away from the tall handsome dark man with the glowing red eyes.

“You might want to get the demon glow out of your eyes big brother or you might even scare Tsukiya.”

Sesshoumaru did not realize he was still raging as he tried to close his eyes to get his blood to behave. Inuyasha really pissed him off tonight. Megan was not going to think well of them at all. She probably thought they were a couple of jerks who just dumped their kid on her.

Walking up to the table Sesshoumaru was surprised as Megan was tying the long napkin around Tsukiya’s neck telling him that he did not want to ruin his cool t shirt. Tsukiya was grinning from ear to ear. If either of them tried that with him he would have a fit. Then Megan kissed their pup’s cheek and made sure her son had his napkin on his lap. She served the two younglings the pizza and then waited for the men to come back.

Megan smiled politely and then the two men sat with Inuyasha digging in. That gave Megan and Sesshoumaru the signal to take their share of the pizza. Their hands touched as they reached towards the pizza at the same time.

“Sorry.”

Megan stated softly blushing as they reached for the same piece. Sesshoumaru felt funny inside like butterflies were messing with his stomach. Why the fuck did she have to smell so good and be so damn beautiful?

“No here, you may have this one. I insist.”

Using the spatula he placed the slice on her plate. Then she shook the parmesan cheese onto her piece of pizza. Sesshoumaru watched her as she took a bite seeming to savor it. Inuyasha about dropped his pizza with the woman’s eyes closed as though this was passion for her. She did not notice the two of them and then Sesshoumaru looked at his brother who quickly picked up his slice to eat it. They were acting like a couple of teenage school boys.

Sesshoumaru was trying to find a way to think of something to ask Megan since he wanted to know her a bit better, but watching how she savored her cheesy pizza his brain shut off. It was like every damn erotic thing came to mind as she licked her fingers a bit from the pizza she just devoured. Inuyasha could not eat anymore either. The two of them were melting and Megan had no clue.

Megan was just enjoying her food as she had always done. She was not here to impress them, but she was not about to be a slob either.

Inuyasha begged his erection to die since it was to the point he wanted to stroke himself under the table just to relieve the pressure. Sesshoumaru grasped Inuyasha's leg with his claws as he was trying to get a grip too and Inuyasha's arousing scent was getting to him. Inuyasha tried not to yelp as those claws dug into his leg. It hurt like hell, but did curb some of his sexual frustration. If they could not get their mind out of the gutter they would not get through this evening without really looking foolish.

Jimmy moved Tsukiya’s drink so he did not knock it over since he came close to it.

“Kid you really need to keep your drink back or your pizza will be toast. This is Boudins San Francisco Sourdough pizza and you don’t want to ruin that.”

Tsukiya smiled at Jimmy. He had to keep this boy. This had to be his big brother since he was cool. He was like a Dragon with his green eyes, but he smelled like a wolf. He smelled like his Uncle Kouga.

“Ok Jimmy.”

Tsukiya stated with a grin. Jimmy was cracking up. This kid was so funny with those two teeth missing in front. He liked Tsukiya, but they would leave for Japan probably not ever seeing them again.

It was apparent the two men were hitting on his Mom. He figured that out a long time ago. It was funny to watch his Mom become annoyed at the younger guy Shiro and watch the older guy Tatsuyoshi try to fight himself to not ask his Mom out.

That Tatsuyoshi really liked his Mom. He could tell since Tatsuyoshi had not stopped looking at her with that slight love sick expression when she wasn’t looking at him and Jimmy felt bad for him. He seemed like the kind of guy who liked to be in control and Mom was too independent. Tatsuyoshi was nice, but he would drive her nuts. They would fight all the time. Still Mom was damn good at putting such men in their place so Jimmy did not worry about it.

Megan did not think twice about it when Tsukiya was done with his food. She just did what she thought she should do getting up to help him with his bib cleaning off his face with a smile on her lips. The baby was indeed adorable. They were very lucky.

"So where is Mrs. Tashio Mr. Tatsuyoshi Tashio?"

Inuyasha knew this was going to come up soon and waited for his brother's response to this one. What would he come up with? Tsukiya looked more like Tatsuyoshi in Megan’s eyes so he had to be his Father since the younger one acted so much like a confirmed bachelor.

"Tsukiya is my and Shiro's son. We are half brothers and life mates."

Megan smiled and relaxed a bit. So they were a gay couple raising this boy.

"Well Tsukiya is very lucky to have such good Fathers."

Sesshoumaru's jaw dropped, but he quickly closed his mouth. She was not offended or upset? She did not even freak out like others. Inuyasha's mouth curved into an almost feral smile as he looked at Megan with lust in his golden eyes.

"We are bi so we are not fully gay Megan."

Megan smiled and nodded.

"I gathered that much. I think though it is time for me and Jimmy to be on our way. It was a pleasure meeting you both and it was a very nice dinner Tatsuyoshi although I really wish you would not have paid for us. It was very admirable for you to do although it was not necessary. We would have joined you for dinner with such a charming young man asking us so politely to join you.’
“It was very nice meeting you Tsukiya. You are going to grow up to be such a handsome little heart breaker sweet pea. Thank you for inviting us and I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation in San Francisco. We are on vacation here too and will be leaving soon to go home."

Inuyasha panicked he couldn't let her just walk out on him. Sesshoumaru felt the same panic. Tsukiya looked as though he might burst into tears as Megan urged Jimmy to follow her. A woman who would accept them as they were was a rare thing indeed. Megan was special. They had to keep in touch somehow so he had the chance to woo her properly. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"Megan wait."

Sesshoumaru stated before he could stop himself. Pulling out a business card he handed it to her. It had his e mail address, phone number, and other information. On the back he wrote something as he grasped her hand kissing it softly sliding his fangs over her skin to taste a bit of that sweet blood in order to mark his territory so he could find her again. Megan did not seem to notice since it was only a small scrape that wasn’t anything more than a tiny line she would not even notice.

"Tatsuyoshi I would have accepted you as you are in any case. My Mother taught me to be a better person then these human beings who think they are better than anyone else. I sometimes hope I am not one of them for that very reason."

Inuyasha's breath caught in his throat as she smiled at him and then at Sesshoumaru. It was very hard for the three of them when she left with her son sliding her number to Sesshoumaru as well as her e mail address. Sesshoumaru sighed and picked up Tsukiya who seemed confused.

"They are not going to go with us Daddy?"

Sesshoumaru smiled and showed Inuyasha the paper Megan gave him. On the bottom it said 'you always have a friend if you need me, please keep in touch'. Inuyasha pouted sitting back down.

"She thinks of us as a friend? That sucks."

Sesshoumaru smirked at his brother, but Tsukiya looked at the paper.

"So we can call Jimmy?"

Sesshoumaru held his son and kissed his cheek.

"Yes so we can call Jimmy and Mommy can call Megan sometime so he won't be pouting all night. Mommy doesn't get the significance of this. Thank you, Tsukiya, for introducing us to those very nice people. You are very good to your Mommy and Daddy."

Inuyasha grumbled as he got up from the table. He was not happy at all. Inuyasha was just so damn impatient.

"Mommy don't be sad. We can talk to Jimmy and Megan. Maybe they can spend the night like a sleepover."

Sesshoumaru gave Inuyasha a wicked smirk.

"Yes like a sleepover Inuyasha. Would you like them to spend the night?"

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru and stuck out his tongue.

"Sometimes you are so funny........not....."

Sesshoumaru smiled as Inuyasha got up walking out of Boudins not expecting to see Megan walking with Jimmy laughing with her son.

Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru had the same thoughts in their heads. The two people that had become their friends were walking to their hotel at this time of night? That frightened the two demon men since they had become very protective of Megan and Jimmy now that they knew them. It was especially disturbing to Sesshoumaru who had just claimed her in his way.

It was one thing for men to walk around on their own at night, but for a Lady with a kid? That was not safe in such a big city. Sesshoumaru would not have it. Not after how she had touched his heart, but he could not help enjoying the freedom of watching her from the distance being so free with her son.

"Let’s just follow them home to make sure they get there ok, but I don't wish to disturb them. They are so happy."

Sesshoumaru stated softly to his family. Tsukiya liked this. The two people in front of them walked hand in hand oblivious to the world.

All happy thoughts and moments ended when a dirty old transient man stepped out of the shadows towards Megan.

"So pretty Lady you are walking by yourself at night with your kid. Give me your money and I will let you go."

The guy pulled out a knife. Megan laughed shocking Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha.

"Go ahead and stick me with that you idiot. I guarantee it will be your last stupid move if you try it. Now go back to your beer or I will scream fire bringing the whole damn neighborhood down on your dumb head. Jimmy get behind me."

Jimmy did not want to, but he was scared. His Mom was too, but she was not going to give this criminal anything. If he had needed a few dollars she would have helped him, but she was not going to give him everything she had.

The guy lunged at her, but before Sesshoumaru could get there Megan pulled out her kubaton pushing Jimmy back. As the knife was lifted into the air Megan saw it in time as it came towards her so remembering what her sifu taught her she moved out of the way tripping him. As they tried to run away the guy lunged a second time grabbing her arm since his small butterfly knife went skittering across the pavement out of his reach.

"You bitch! You won't get away from me. I am going to rape you and take your money anyway right in front of your brat!"

Megan went to scream as the man reached to cover her mouth she used her keys smacking the guy with it across the face with the keys that had the kubaton hooked on them then kicked him looking down at him growling.

"Don't you dare touch me you stupid fucking asshole!"

Sesshoumaru lost it as Megan grasped Jimmy then went to run to get help and then the criminal went to attack Megan again. He roared at the man lifting him by his throat.

"You touch her again and I will rip your limbs off."

Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, and even little Tsukiya no longer in their human appearance growled at the man who went to take a broken bottle to Megan.

The evil thief and rapist could not scream as Sesshoumaru crushed his throat. He forgot who he was as the blood poured down his hand. It was gruesome as the man twitched in his death with his head lolling in an unnatural way in Sesshoumaru’s powerful grip. Then Sesshoumaru threw the fucker into the alley that he crawled out of. Completely forgetting he was in his demon form with silver hair, markings, and completely revealed to Megan he went over to her to ask if she was ok. Jimmy passed out cold on the sidewalk. Megan was ready to.

"That was very foolish of you Megan. You could have been killed."

Sesshoumaru stated as he ignored the blood on his hand looking at the woman in frustration. Then he realized he was no longer in human form. Megan did not know what to say. She could not move. He had not ever meant to reveal this to her yet or frighten her. It was over and their chance at having Megan as theirs was over too.

"I am sorry, we are leaving."

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru who looked back at him then Inuyasha looked at his hands. Inuyasha had his claws out and even Tsukiya was no longer disguised. Megan grasped Sesshoumaru's arm before he walked away.

"Please don't walk away like this. Thank you. I was not afraid of you. I just should not have underestimated that man. I should have made sure he could not get back up. If you had not stopped him........Jimmy....."

Sesshoumaru stopped at her touch.

"You don't care that I am a demon? That my family and I are demons?"

Megan let go of his arm.

"No I don't....I mean I do.......I think you look really cool.......I.......like fangs."

Megan was turning very red and Inuyasha smirked. Sesshoumaru caught the look in Inuyasha's eyes as he turned to see Megan was as red as a tomato. He did not know what to do or say. Megan was being so sincere and so understanding.

"You are not going to drain my son and me of our blood I hope......."

Megan stated turning redder after she heard herself gasping holding her hand over her mouth in horror at the words she just uttered.

"Oh shit......I just said that out loud didn't I.......oh baby I am sorry Tsukiya I was swearing and my mouth should be washed out with soap. After what you did for me I am so ashamed. Please forgive me."

Sesshoumaru started laughing since he now knew he loved this woman. It was funny and using a tissue he wiped off his hand. Inuyasha walked over and picked Jimmy up from the ground throwing him over his shoulder.

"So can we walk you home?"

Megan smiled and looked at Tsukiya who looked at her with hopeful eyes.

"Yes that would be nice. Thank you again. I think all I am going to be doing is thanking you for the rest of my life."

Inuyasha wiggled his eyebrows at her.

"Is that a promise?"

Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes at his brother's pathetic display. Inuyasha was trying too hard again. Still Megan smiled at the flirting man. He was cute, but he knew it. That made him trouble with a capitol T. Sesshoumaru put his arm in hers shocking her as he carried Tsukiya in the other.

"We will be honored to walk you home Megan. We were also walking so it will be much safer in a group. What are your plans tomorrow?"

Megan smiled and Inuyasha pouted a bit until she hooked her arm in his too. Then he smiled feeling better. Megan figured it could not hurt to play on Inuyasha's ego a little bit. He was funny and such a flirt. It was also not a problem to tell them her plans. Perhaps these two very interesting men and their beautiful little boy would join them. It would be fun to hang out with these vampires since she was really into that although she hoped they were able to walk in the sunlight. Obviously garlic wasn’t an issue with them so maybe sunlight wouldn’t be either. They could eat like people. Maybe they were not vampires from this planet.

"We want to go to the Aquarium and then to Japan town."

Sesshoumaru smiled since that had been in their agenda too.

"Would you mind tagging along with us? Tsukiya has not ever been to an Aquarium and he would really like Jimmy to go with him since he is afraid the sharks might come out of the glass to eat him."

Sesshoumaru stated with a grin and Megan laughed.

"Oh little one I don't think you have anything to worry about. I think those sharks might with those little fangs of yours. They might think you are going to eat them. In fact we do you know."

Tsukiya looked shocked.

"You have eaten a shark?"

Megan smiled widely loving that little shocked face with that sweet baby voice.

"No, but I can show you that there are people who do if your Fathers don't mind taking you to the fisherman's wharf."

Tsukiya smiled and looked at his Father’s pleading with them to let him go to the wharf.

"We can do that for dinner and you can have shark if you want to eat one Tsukiya."

Inuyasha stated with a toothy grin showing off his fangs now that he knew Megan liked them. Sesshoumaru also did not hide his fangs. They did hide their markings again and looked human.

"It is too bad you all have to hide yourselves, but I understand. People are such jerks. They are so prejudice about things they don't understand."

Sesshoumaru smiled and then looked at his brother who was smiling as they came upon the Travelodge where Megan was staying. This would not do. They should be somewhere much nicer than this. This was not in the best area of town either as far as the two brothers were concerned.

Inuyasha looked at his brother sighing. They could not do too much or Megan would think they were rich snobs. If they wanted to get to know her they had to get to know her on her level as well. Walking her up to her room Inuyasha set Jimmy on the bed. He would wake up soon. Sesshoumaru's eyes swept the room. It was not right for them to stay here. If he could woo her properly then she would not ever stay in such a place again.

Inuyasha sat on the bed for a moment taking in the scent of this woman. Sesshoumaru looked at something on the desk. She had a laptop and was writing some kind of poetry on there on a website.

"You have your own website?"

Megan blushed and then smiled.

"Yes I do. I write stuff on there, but it is just a personal site. I have so many things I should update on there, but I had not done so in years. This place had internet so I thought maybe this would be a good time for me to do so. A lot of stuff on there relates to things I don't even do and my obsession with vampires for a time. I also have not let anyone know my husband died so that has to be fixed. A few of our friends if they went on there that I can't contact from home might appreciate knowing."

Sesshoumaru read the poem. It was very good.

"You are a good poet. You write stories and draw too?"

Sesshoumaru saw the pile of papers stacked to the side and some art work.

"Yes."

Megan stated softly very proud of her drawings.

"May I see these?"

Megan nodded yes and Sesshoumaru pulled them out. They were very good. Then there was this one of a knight, a woman, and a dragon.

"This dragon.......it is amazing. I mean the other things are too, but I can almost see this creature in my mind. I can almost see what it was like."

Megan smiled at it and sighed.

"I love dragons especially black ones for some reason. I used the Art of Dungeons and Dragons books as reference, but I rarely draw anymore. I like to paint and I am practicing watercolors.’
“I could not paint with oils like those artists since it stinks plus it is harder to work with, but I like to sketch with pencil. I paint with acrylics mostly.’
“I like this Travelodge because it is right next to that art store. I wanted to come back for that, Japan town since I have dreamed of going to Japan for a long time, and I like the Japan town here in San Francisco although it is cold here it is pretty. I love the ocean. I prefer the heat, but it was nice to get away from the desert for a while since we lived out west for most of our lives in the mountainous sandy regions.”

Megan shrugged as Sesshoumaru listened quietly. He didn’t know what to say and he was afraid to tell her that he had seen this dragon before. That would claim his age.

“You may keep that picture if you like it."

At that Sesshoumaru looked at Megan then swiftly looked back at the drawing because if he did not he was going to kiss her then ravish her for such a gift. Sesshoumaru was swallowing hard since to him art was special. This was something wonderful and he loved dragons so much. It looked like the dragon was part of the pack of fighters rather than the enemy. He liked that idea.

"Thank you. I will cherish it."

Inuyasha smiled at Megan.

"You just made his day. Tatsuyoshi loves dragons."

Tsukiya started to yawn as he looked at the drawing touching the dragon for a moment.

"This is like our egg at the ancestor’s home. That is the dragon in there. It will hatch someday Daddy you will see."

With that the toddler fell asleep. Sesshoumaru smiled at the dragon picture and his son. It was a nice thought that his dragon egg would hatch, but he knew better. It had indeed been a black dragon. An acid dragon power just like the acid powers of the Inu demon dogs. It was a very special egg given to him by his Father.

"You have a dragon egg?"

Megan asked softly as Sesshoumaru locked eyes on her. They were standing too close together breathing each other in. Inuyasha saw the exchange and smiled a bit. He lost the battle, but not the war. Megan and Sesshoumaru were soul mates. It was obvious in the way they finished each other's sentences so far, touched like they had been shocked as their bodies went into overdrive, and now they were almost breathing each other as though they were connected through some invisible force to each other.

"Yes."

Sesshoumaru stated huskily as he felt his lips descend and next thing he knew he was kissing Megan. It was a soft kiss, but it caused something like an explosion in them both as they pulled away trying to figure out what just happened.

"Goodnight Megan. We will meet then at 10:00 tomorrow morning here?"

Sesshoumaru stated softly as Megan tried to pull out of her stupor. That kiss was like electricity rocketing through her and he had not even kissed her more than a second. It was wild.

"Ya."

Megan mumbled out as she tried to shake her head.

"I mean yes. That will be fine. 10:00 it is."

Inuyasha walked out carrying the sleepy Tsukiya with a smile.

"Mommy I want to stay with Jimmy."

Tsukiya stated softly in his sleepy voice.

"Not tonight, but if Daddy keeps this up we may be having a sleepover soon."

Inuyasha stated with a smirk at his mate and Megan who had not moved seeming rooted to the spot. Sesshoumaru caressed Megan's face with soft clawed fingers.

"Do not go off on your own Megan. This is a big city and there are too many dangerous people out here who would hurt you and Jimmy. I don't want anything bad to happen to either of you."

Sesshoumaru with that reluctantly walked towards the door. Then a growl came from his throat as he rushed back and this time really kissed Megan. Megan felt Sesshoumaru's lips crash upon hers and then his tongue slid into her mouth as their tongues danced against each other. Megan pulled him closer for a deeper kiss and Sesshoumaru moaned into it drowning in her lovely female scent. She was like kissing something he had craved all his life and he wanted to devour her. He felt himself become aroused so much he thought he would end up taking her right there on the spot. Sesshoumaru knew he had to go or it would end in disaster.

Then he rushed away before anything else happened. Inuyasha looked at his brother in shock as he closed the door behind them leaving Megan and Jimmy inside. Inuyasha watched his brother bend the metal bar a bit on the balcony as he bade Inuyasha to follow him down the stairs. Inuyasha looked at his brother at the bottom of the stairwell as his powerful demon brother who was wide eyed and was panting trying to catch his breath.

"Are you ok Sesshoumaru?"

Inuyasha asked as he looked at his brother. Then Sesshoumaru grasped Inuyasha kissing him with the intensity he kissed Megan with. Inuyasha licked his lips smirking as he looked at his brother.

"Inuyasha tell me to never see that woman again please. Tell me you hate me and that I am a fucking asshole for kissing her."

Sesshoumaru stated with a look of confusion and lust in his face.

"No I won't do that, but thanks for that kiss handsome. Megan is your soul mate and we are all meant to be together. You just got something I would love to have."

Sesshoumaru looked at Inuyasha not sure what he was talking about.

"You found your female. So maybe we have to share her and she is supposed to belong to us both. Maybe that is what the jewel wants. I don't know or care. I love her and so do you. You just figured it out, that is all."

Sesshoumaru shook his head trying to clear his mind.

"Her kiss was like liquid fire Inuyasha. I have not felt like that since......since I was a damn pup. I have not felt this way in so long. The last time I felt like this was when I went into my first rutting with a woman. I was foolish around her wanting her so bad and wanting you. We were all foolish and I killed a man. I killed him to save her. I destroyed his life and I have not killed in a long time. It felt good. I feel damn good."

Inuyasha saw Sesshoumaru start to walk swiftly and followed him back to the hotel. He knew what his lover was thinking and his mate had a wonderful idea. As they got into their room Inuyasha took Tsukiya to his room at the hotel putting him into the soft cotton PJ’s that he loved. Then Inuyasha tucked him in with a kiss. His baby was so beautiful in slumber and Inuyasha knew that soon there would be more children in their lives. Megan was going to be there’s. It was inevitable.
