Scene 15 ------------------------------------------- That Evening

* It is just after the sun sets when Shippo announces that he needs some exercise and leaves the hut without any protests from any of the others. He quietly makes his way toward the sacred tree. Without even opening his eyes, the drowsing hanyou senses the young fox's approach. Shippo stops and looks up at Inuyasha. Even though it's dark, his sharp sight watches Inuyasha calmly open his eyes to look down at him. Inuyasha's eyesight, being just as good, allows him to watch Shippo. His ears also catch the kit's quiet sigh as he bows his head and speaks.

Shippo - (Quietly) Alpha, may I...?
Inuyasha - You should know that you may, Kit.

* The use of the word now seems to cut Shippo some. He swallows then shakes his head and turns to leave. In an instant the hanyou leaps to intercept his retreat. Shippo's instincts at first cause him to cower with a short yip at being startled. When he recovers some to look timidly up at the tall inu halfdemon, Inuyasha crouches down to meet his eyes.

Inuyasha - If you need to talk...

* Shippo lowers his eyes and shrugs.

Shippo - W-Well, I-I do... but...

* When Shippo glances around the quiet village Inuyasha reaches out and touches his shoulder. Again, Shippo flinches slightly and looks back up at Inuyasha.

Shippo - Alpha,...
Inuyasha - My name is Inuyasha... You've always called me that or stupid dog...

* For a couple moments Shippo remains quiet, then he takes a deep breath.

Shippo - And you've always considered me a kit... I guess you always will.

* Shippo drops his eyes. In the next instant he finds himself picked up by Inuyasha and placed on his shoulder.

Inuyasha - We do need to talk.

* Shippo hangs onto Inuyasha's neck as the hanyou moves off toward the hot springs. Being so close to Inuyasha's neck, the kit can feel the hanyou's blood thumping below his skin. In spite of himself, the little fox demon soon finds himself nuzzling closer to the comforting sound. Inuyasha half glances at Shippo when he hears him begin to purr quietly. Being older and a little more wiser, the hanyou immediately knows the reason, but continues on his way quietly. When they reach the spring Inuyasha hesitates to pull Shippo off of his shoulder and set him down. But when Shippo senses that they've stopped moving he snaps to himself, hops down, and moves away some to lean against a large rock blushing. Inuyasha goes over and sits on the rock. Shippo keeps his eyes lowered.

Inuyasha - Okay... We are here... Now we can talk.

* Shippo's mind drifts away on the memory of his ordeal, that is still quite fresh. Inuyasha senses this and waits. 'Yet more proof', he notes to himself as he pulls his senses back to give Shippo his privacy. It is several moments before the Kitsune speaks again.

Shippo - I don't blame you, Alpha.
Inuyasha - Kouga has explained to me about how powerful Koyuto's cloaking abilities... were...

* Now Shippo looks up at his tall Alpha.

Shippo - Th-That was.. his name? K-Koyuto?

* Inuyasha nods quietly. Shippo swallows and fights the urge to whimper.

Shippo - T-To him... I was nothing b-but... trash... A worthless slut...
Inuyasha - Kit, you are by no means...

* Shippo lowers his head and moves away some to sit with his back to Inuyasha. The hanyou's ears pitch forward to hear Shippo's sob. Carefully he leaves the rock and goes over to crouch beside Shippo.

Inuyasha - What did I say wrong?

* Shippo finally realizes that he must explain. He takes a deep breath to push down his sobs.

Shippo - You really don't... know anything about me... About my kind...
Inuyasha - I can learn... I'm willing to learn... if you'll teach me.

* Shippo looks up at Inuyasha sheepishly.

Inuyasha - Please.

* Briefly, Shippo tries to remember when was the last time the hanyou had said that to him with such sincerity.

Shippo - Alpha, I'm pregnant...

* He lowers his eyes as his arms embrace his middle.

Shippo - These will be my first kits...
Inuyasha - I know this.
Shippo - The first litter a kitsune carries is the sign of maturity... This is why even male Kitsunes carry at least once...
Inuyasha - So these...?

* Inuyasha motions self-consciously toward Shippo's middle.

Inuyasha - Are your rite of passage into manhood?
Shippo - Yes. I am no longer considered a Kit... Well, I wouldn't be to my own...
Inuyasha - So this is the reason you're going to keep them?

* Shippo looks right up into Inuyasha's eyes.

Shippo - That... Plus the fact that they're innocent...
Inuyasha - But won't they always remind you of that...?
Shippo - It takes two to create life, Alpha...

* Shippo suddenly looks up at Inuyasha wide-eyed. Inuyasha senses his spike of nervousness and tilts his head.

Inuyasha - What?

* Shippo stands to leave but Inuyasha catches his shoulder quickly.

Inuyasha - Stay... Sit.

* Shippo struggles briefly to rebel, but once again his instincts prove stronger and he returns to his place, submitting to his alpha. Inuyasha sees him start to tremble, but also acknowledges Shippo's unwilling submission to his orders.

Inuyasha - You know why you react like this, don't you?

* Shippo nods slightly, but keeps his eyes down.

Shippo - Yes, sir... You are my Alpha male. I have no choice but to... obey you... Since I turned myself over to my heat my... instincts are more powerful than my brain.

* Shippo closes his eyes. Inuyasha watches a stray tear roll down Shippo's cheek.

Shippo - If... (swallows hard) If th-they... displease you... (swallows again) If you want me t-to...

* No matter how hard he tries, Shippo's throat refuses to let him speak the rest. But the hanyou gets the intentions. He senses the total fear without having to try very hard at all. In as gentle a motion as the usually-grouchy inu can manage he moves a hand up to gently stroke the tear off of Shippo's cheek with his clawed hand. The gesture gets Shippo's attention and he looks up.

Inuyasha - (Quietly) Shippo, if you want to keep them, I'll let you.

* Shippo stares at Inuyasha stunned a moment.

Shippo - Y-You will?

* When Inuyasha nods, Shippo's tail begins to wag crazily, then he can contain his joy no longer and leaps over into Inuyasha's arms. Hesitantly, Inuyasha moves his arms to embrace the Kitsune snuggling against him.

Shippo - Thank you, Alpha... Thank you so much...
Inuyasha - Shippo,... do you really... want me to be your...?

* Shippo pulls back to meet Inuyasha's golden eyes.

Shippo - You're my Alpha... I know that It'll never be able to be anything more, but I accept...
Inuyasha - Why not anything more?

* Inuyasha sets Shippo back down on the ground close to him, but facing him. Shippo lowers his eyes again.

Shippo - Because I was... spoiled by another...
Inuyasha - Shippo, you were raped.

* The word causes Shippo to shrink away some, then he gathers himself and shakes his head.

Shippo - Maybe he wasn't the one that I... wanted... But the fact remains that I allowed that... coyote demon to...
Inuyasha - You said it, yourself... The heat took you... Shippo, I've been through several heats... I just came through one myself a couple days ago... Because you're a full demon, you couldn't control yourself once that sick demon triggered your instincts... He took advantage of that...
Shippo - Yes... But our laws, Kitsune laws, still dictate that I should have stayed with him...

* Inuyasha turns Shippo's head to the side to examine his neck in the moonlight.

Inuyasha - I see no claim mark on you.
Shippo - It's not on me... They're inside me...

* Shippo touches his stomach again.

Shippo - Kitsunes have the option to either mate for one litter or to stay together... If they just mate for the one time the pair is to remain together for the duration of the pregnancy and up until the kits are weaned... If they decide to stay together then claim marks are exchanged... If the mate is killed, the pregnant Kitsune becomes the responsibility of the... Alpha...

* Shippo glances up.

Shippo - Which is you.
Inuyasha - These laws are all well and good, Shippo... But they only apply to a normal situation... This is far from a normal situation...
Shippo - I remember that sometimes females, and once even a young male, were taken forcefully when they came into their seasons... The rules still...

* Inuyasha's hmmph silences Shippo.

Inuyasha - And who made these rules?

* Shippo is quiet a moment.

Shippo - Well... M-My father... He was the ruler of our clan... My former Alpha...
Inuyasha - So now I am your Alpha... correct?

* Shippo nods humbly.

Shippo - Yes, sir.
Inuyasha - So you now live by my rules for our pack.

* Hesitantly, Shippo raises his eyes to look at the hanyou. After a few moments of thought Shippo nods.

Inuyasha - Then you will listen to me...

* Shippo nods once, but keeps his eyes locked on Inuyasha's

Inuyasha - Good. Now, I'm not going to force you to accept me against your will... And, if you should want me, not until you're good and sure that it's what you want. I'm just letting you know, that if you decide that I'd be suitable for you, I'll accept your offer.

* Now it is Shippo that tilts his head with silent surprise.

Shippo - But I'm... carrying another's...
Inuyasha - Kouga may be carrying my pup... We rutted rather heavily half that day and through the night...
Shippo - But no claim marks...
Inuyasha - No... We rutted, we didn't mate... And he submitted himself to me...
Shippo - Why?
Inuyasha - Because I refused to come back here in the condition I was in... My Youkai would have claimed you by force if need be... Kouga knew I had to get back here to my pack... and you... as quickly as possible... So he agreed to those terms.

* Shippo lowers his eyes to maul over all of this information.

Inuyasha - He seemed pleased with the results by morning...

* Shippo looks back up at the Inu.

Shippo - So what if he finds out that he's... pregnant?
Inuyasha - He agreed to send word to me, but I'll have no ties to the cub other than being its sire...
Shippo - But won't it bother you that he'll not let you have any contact with your pup?

* Inuyasha sighs.

Inuyasha - Shippo, things between Kouga and I are not as they used to be now... We're no longer rivals, but neither are we bound to each other.

* Now it's the hanyou's turn to look away nervously.

Inuyasha - If this bothers you and you find me... unacceptable because of it, I'll understand.

* He looks back at Shippo again.

Inuyasha - But I'll still do my best to fulfill my obligations as your Alpha.

* Inuyasha watches Shippo study him a long time before he slowly stands.

Shippo - Inuyasha,...

* Inuyasha keeps his eyes on Shippo as the fox moves back over to him. They lock onto each others' gazes as he pauses to gather his courage. His tail sways calmly behind him, then Shippo sinks to lay down beside Inuyasha on his back. Inuyasha tilts his head curiously. Shippo nods.

Shippo - If you still want me... I'm yours.

* Inuyasha licks his lips in sudden anticipation.

Inuyasha - Are you sure, Shippo?

* Shippo nods and lets his instincts guide him to roll his head, offering his neck to the hanyou's domination willingly. For a long moment, Inuyasha's eyes settle on the small body beside him. He hesitates until Shippo's words concerning his now being considered 'mature' return to his thoughts. With a sudden burst of eagerness Inuyasha moves to crouch over top of the Kitsune. When he forces himself to pause again Shippo looks up at him.

Inuyasha - (Quietly) Are... are you sure?

* Shippo smiles and nods again.

Shippo - Yes, Alpha Inuyasha... I accept your offer to be my mate.

* Shippo calmly rolls his head again. Now Inuyasha allows his own instincts to trigger him into action, yet he keeps himself under control. He leans down and begins first to nuzzle Shippo's neck. This tickles the boy and he giggles some in spite of the seriousness of their moods. Inuyasha pulls back to cock an eyebrow.

Shippo - I'm sorry... That tickled...
Inuyasha - If I make you uncomfortable just say so...

* Shippo meets Inuyasha's eyes again.

Shippo - (Quietly) Please... Show me how it was really supposed to be.
Inuyasha - (Quietly) I intend to,... mate.

* Shippo exposes his neck again. Again Inuyasha lowers his mouth to begin lavishing it with slow, gentle licks. As they both become more at ease with each other Inuyasha relaxes to lay on a hip beside the small fox demon. He continues caressing and suckling the boy's neck, listening to the pleasing purrs he emits, as his hands calmly begin to undress him. Not really sure of what he should be doing, Shippo just co-operates in the process as much as he can. When he's finally divested of all of the clothes he's ever owned, Inuyasha pulls back to look down at him. Shippo turns his eyes to watch the hanyou's eyes travel his body once more. The look in the hanyou's eyes soon causes Shippo's tail to thump the ground steadily. He can't help but grin when Inuyasha reaches over to get ahold of it curiously. He strokes the soft tuft of fur a couple times until Shippo can't resist raising up to catch the inu's lips. This startles Inuyasha at first, then he relaxes and parts his lips to allow Shippo's tongue access. What the youth's tongue lacks in size he more than makes up for in eagerness. Once more he finds himself craddled in Inuyasha's lap as they devour each other's mouths with growing passion. Inuyasha soon feels Shippo's hands working to remove his own clothes, the kitsune's hands trembling. Inuyasha pulls back to smile at Shippo.

Inuyasha - Please... don't be nervous...

* Shippo blushes a bit and lowers his eyes to stare at the bared chest before him.

Shippo - It's not that... Well, not really... I guess I'm kinda... excited... My body feels like it's... so alive... Like it was with... him... sorta... But way better...

* He looks up into Inuyasha's eyes again.

Shippo - I'm glad it's you this time, though...
Inuyasha - Do you really trust me, Shippo?
Shippo - Yes, Inuyasha. Absolutely completely.

* Inuyasha gently lays Shippo back down beneath him.

Inuyasha - I'm ready to do this now... But I have to warn you... It may hurt some at first, until your body adjusts to me.

* Shippo closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, then nods.

Shippo - Okay... I survived it last time, so I know I...
Inuyasha Look at me, Shippo.

* Shippo obeys.

Inuyasha - Last time was just... rutting... This time it's us... and we're mating... And not because instincts are driving us to this... Do you understand?

* Shippo slowly nods.

Shippo - I trust you... I'm yours, Inuyasha... Always.

* Inuyasha's mind calculates on something as he lowers his mouth back down to kiss Shippo deeply. Then he remembers where they are. His eyes pop open and he raises his head to glance toward the pool of warm spring water. He hmmphs to himself then gathers the Kitsune up into his arms gently. Shippo glances around as he's carried over to the pool and then they go down into it.

Shippo - You need to bath me first?
Inuyasha - You said you trusted me...
Shippo - Yes, I do.

* Inuyasha nods and moves across the pool to lay Shippo on an area of the rim that is angled just enough so that his lower half remains submerged beneath the warm waters, between the trunks of two young trees. Inuyasha's mouth returns to Shippo's with a moan as he leans his body close against the small fox. Shippo feels the hanyou's strength as he adjusts him a little lower. When their hardening members graze each other they both vocalize their pleasure. Since they are far enough away from the village they have no fears of expressing said pleasure. When Shippo soon feels Inuyasha's hand slide down his chest, going straight to his shaft he rolls his head back and gasps. Inuyasha pulls back to watch the boy's reaction as his hand works his swelling member gently. The small body arches beneath him and he feels Shippo's legs move apart, offering the hanyou full access eagerly.

Shippo - Uhhh... Ohhh, Inu-yash-ahhh... Yes... please...
Inuyasha - Yes?

* Shippo nods and groans as Inuyasha's hand continues pumping a little quicker. His hips begin to squirm desperately and his moans become louder. When Inuyasha notices the skinny, but sturdy tree trunks on each side of his new mate he gently guides first one hand, then the other to grasp them.

Inuyasha - (Quietly) Hold on tight, Shippo.

* Shippo nods obediently and grips the trunks. Inuyasha moves a couple steps back and lowers his mouth to the throbbing shaft as calmly as he can. But as soon as the contact is made Shippo's body lurches.

Shippo - Uhhh!! I-Inu-Yasha!!

* Inuyasha moves his arms to cradle Shippo's hips as they begin to thrust upward harder and harder. The warm water begins to slosh around them. Sometime during the distraction, Inuyasha moves one hand down and under the thrashing Kitsune. A quick jolt is the only indication that Inuyasha's finger has found Shippo's anus, so he continues moving it slowly in and out against Shippo's thrusting hips. But when he starts to work a second finger in the youth snaps his head up and freezes.

Shippo - Inu...!!?

* Inuyasha raises his head quickly.

Inuyasha - Shhh, it's okay... I'm just working you open... Relax, I'll go easy...

* Inuyasha keeps his eyes on Shippo's face as he continues pushing the second finger in slowly.

Shippo - K-Koyuto... used his t-tongue...
Inuyasha - I'm not Koyuto...

* Now Shippo meets Inuyasha's eyes again and nods.

Shippo - I know...

* Inuyasha bends to start nuzzling Shippo's neck.

Inuyasha - But... maybe next time, hai?

* Shippo relaxes and laughs some.

Shippo - H-Hai, Alpha...
Inuyasha - 'Yasha.

* Shippo rolls his face to nuzzle it against Inuyasha's neck.

Shippo - (Quietly) 'Yasha.

* Shippo forces himself to relax when he feels the fingers continue their task. When both are worked in deeply and they begin to scissor gently Shippo closes his eyes. Inuyasha feels him swallow and begins to probe around inside. When he finds what he was searching for Shippo immediately tosses his head back and yips. The hanyou grins to himself as he watches Shippo react helplessly to the stimulation. Suddenly Shippo can wait no longer and nearly snarls as he lifts his head to look at his dominant.

Shippo - Now!! Please... (whimpers) Take - me...

* Inuyasha quietly nods. Their eyes lock fast on each others' as Inuyasha moves up to postion himself up tight between the Kitsune's legs. He removes his fingers, guides his hardness down to Shippo's anus, and feels the boy's wet tail come up between his thighs to slap his balls. As one, they both groan and Inuyasha's hips jerk forward reflexively. His tip is quickly buried inside Shippo then he forces himself to freeze as he leans forward, panting, over top of the kitsune. He braces himself up on his stiff arms that are planted on each side of Shippo's head. Shippo's next reaction is to thrust his hips up against Inuyasha's shaft. This brings the hanyou's rod right into that same hotspot. Inuyasha begins moving when Shippo cries out and nods excitedly.

Shippo - Yes!! Ohhh, pl-please... Uhh!!

* Inuyasha senses the pain Shippo begins to feel and pauses. Immediately Shippo raises his legs to dig into his alpha's sides.

Shippo - N-No,... don't... Don't stop!!
Inuyasha - (Panting) Sh-Ship-po,..?

* Once again Shippo's instincts overtake him and his hips begin to thrust. Inuyasha feels his member being suctioned deeper, he hears the kitsune beg for him to continue, and soon this drives him over the edge. He feels his youkai come forth more and more with each thrust. He tries to fight it until he looks down into Shippo's eyes. They are red as flames. The sight breaks any reserves Inuyasha was trying to hold onto. He closes his eyes, growls his desire, and reopens them when Shippo's demon answers it.

Shippo - Yes!!

* Red eyes meet red eyes, thrust meets thrust, growl meets growl.

Inuyasha - Mine!!
Shippo - Yours!!
Inuyasha - Cum! Now!!

* Immediately Shippo arches with a foxy howl and explodes between their bodies. With a last, hard shove the hanyou joins his own doggy howl as he bursts forth deep inside the fox demon. In the next instant he dives down to sink his fangs deep into Shippo's throat. Shippo feels his blood being taken hungrily, then with a submissive whimper, he lifts his own mouth to Inuyasha's neck. But he hesitates, waiting for something. Soon Inuyasha nods with an encouraging moan of permission. Even with his Alpha's permission, Shippo's fangs sink into Inuyasha's neck gently. The hanyou moans and feels Shippo's arms now embrace his shoulders. Inuyasha scoops the obviously weary boy up and hugs him tightly as they finish completing their new bond. The warm waters grow calm once more around them until finally Inuyasha moves up out of the steaming pool. When he sets Shippo down the boy's weary legs give out and he stumbles back onto his rear and he yips. Inuyasha quickly crouches to check him, concerned.

Inuyasha - Shippo?
Shippo - I'm... okay... Just tired...

* Inuyasha nods with relief. Shippo watches him move to get his red fire rat kimono and return. He bends to quickly wrap it around the younger demon. Inuyasha then goes back to get into his white underkimono, he gathers up Shippo's clothes, then returns to reclaim the Kitsune into his arms. Shippo doesn't protest being carried back to the sacred tree, instead he snuggles closer against the hanyou's chest. He realizes that he feels more secure than he has since the assault from Koyuto first took place. When they reach the tree Inuyasha leaps up onto his branch with ease. As he settles down against the trunk he turns Shippo so that the Kitsune's back is against his chest. Shippo feels Inuyasha move his arms down to wrap around his middle in a gesture that shows his protectiveness of the kits he's carrying.

Inuyasha - (Whispering) From this night on, my mate, what's mine is yours... And what's yours is mine... Do you accept and understand this?
Shippo - (Quietly) Yes, 'Yasha.

* Shippo then sighs and closes his eyes to let sleep take him away in the comfort of Inuyasha's arms.
