A New Scheme

A/N I'm sorry I haven't worked on this one in along time.

Katelyn sat down on the bed after Naraku left Kanna and Kagura would be coming in soon to check on her. The whole possibility that she was pregnant frightened her but not as much as what Naraku said to her before he left. She liked him she really did but...she laid down on the bed staring up at the ceiling.
The door opened and Kagura and Kanna came in. "How are you this morning Akira?" Kagura asked a slight sneer to her voice.
Kate ignored the tone in her voice as she replied. "I'm fine."
"Well lets get this over with Naraku wants us to check to see if your pregnant."
"I think I can check on my own." Katelyn said as she got up from the bed and went to her bag and pulled out the box of pregnancy test.
"What is that?"
"Pregnancy test, it tells you whether or not your pregnant."
"Really?"
"Umm...can I ask you a question Kagura? Naraku, what will his plan be if I end up pregnant?"
"How should I know!" Kagura said.
"He'll mark you indefinately." Kanna said.
"Mark me?"
"Yes with the mating mark."
Yes Naraku mentioned that to her asking her if he could leave that mark on her. "Then what?"
"The Jewel Shards no doubt." Kagura said.
"Why is he so interested in those?"
"It gives demons twice as much strength as they had.Now go take that test or we will do it my way." Kagura said.
"Fine geez." Katelyn said going to the next room to get it over with.

"Inuyasha can I ask you a question?" Kagome asked.
"What is it Kagome?"
"What do you think Naraku will do with my cousin?"
"Well since he hasn't killed her yet he'll probably use her to give him the jewel shards in return for her safetly."
"No I think there's more to it then that. Katelyn was never good at choosing men of any sort. I don't see what she could see in him, Inuyasha what if Naraku gets her pregnant or something?"
"Um...."Inuyasha said not sure really what to say.

Naraku paced back and forth of the hallways of the castle thinking. How was he going to make this work? His whole purpose was to get the Shikon Jewel so he could become the most powerful demon in the world. He wanted to go to the world in the well so he could take over with ease and have Akira produce offspring for him. He even asked her to mat with him properly by asking her if he could leave the mating mark on her.
That really part of his plan. Yet it would be a nice change and yet dangerous all at the same time, his enemies would know who to attack first and that irritated him. Well he was going to have to talk to her later he left to soak in a nearby stream to clear his head while he waited for results from Kagura.

Katelyn took the test and waited patiently for the test results. She got up from where she sat not being able to take the suspense any longer. She carefully picked up the slip and notice it turn to a light blue.
The test slipped from her fingers onto the floor as she just about collaped onto the floor herself. "No...No No!" she said not wanting to believe she was pregnant.
Kanna and Kagura came into the room. "Well what's the verdict?" Kagura asked.
Kanna picked up the test off the floor "its blue."
"Blue? What does that mean?"
"I...I'm pregnant."
"Well this certainly will make Naraku happy I'll go and tell him the news." Kagura said leaving the room.
Katelyn took a deep breath now slowly getting over the shock of being pregnant. "I want to go home." Katelyn said as tears began to fall from her face.
"Why are you sad? This should be a joyous occasion for you."
"I'm not ready to be a mother!" katelyn said as she began to cry harder.
Kanna lead her back into the bedroom and had her lay down on the bed to rest. She laid down on the pillow and closed her eyes Kanna quietly left her be for the time being.

Naraku got out of the stream and placed a robe over himself when Kagura came out. "Well Kagura what's the verdict?"
"She's pregnant Naraku, and from what I just heard from Kanna she's acting hysterical about it too."
"Well I better go see her then."
