Chapter 14
Sesshoumaru felt completely sated. His demon was pleased, but Inuyasha was not when he found out about his body.
“What do you mean when I bear your heir? I am a man. Men can’t have babies.”
Inuyasha stated knowing for a fact after reading Kagome’s anatomy book that men did not produce children. That was a woman’s place.
“Hanyou’s can and even some male demons. You forget your true nature Inuyasha. Like it or not you are half demon. You might as well embrace that side of yourself and learn to nurture it. It will save you a world of pain and frustration.”

Inuyasha followed Sesshoumaru into an area he had not gotten to yet to clean. It was already fairly clean and had a futon with silk pillows, sheets, and blankets all in red. There was no other furniture in the room.
“This was Father’s room. The bed may smell a bit of the fire, but it is still intact. It rained that evening and only this wing was saved from the fire. We can either lay here or if you prefer we can just camp outside again.”
Inuyasha smelled the room. It smelled of Sesshoumaru, the slight scent of burnt wood, and something else. It smelled of their Father. Inuyasha felt some comfort in that. He may not have known his old man, but he was going to take advantage of at least knowing his smell.
“Let’s just stay in here Sesshoumaru.”
Sesshoumaru nodded as the two climbed into bed. Sesshoumaru then wrapped an arm around his mate possessively. Inuyasha at first felt like that was a bit weird, but soon he fell asleep.
