Too Much Time On Their Hands

Inuyasha awoke to go check on his baby pup. It had been two weeks since Tsukiya was born and both young men were now used to being a parent with the odd hours of a newborn baby who woke up almost every two hours.

Tsukiya was fussing again and Sesshoumaru had been up all night with the pup. He was doing so much and Inuyasha felt like a feeding tube rather than a Mother to his own baby. It was infuriating that his body did not seem to ever want to cooperate when he needed it to. It was healing fast, but his organs were still pretty bruised.

"I am coming Tsukiya. You are just as temperamental as your Fathers. I think you definitely got this from your Father's side, but he says it is my fault while he laughs at me since I am supposed to be your Mother. I mean what the hell are you supposed to call me? I still say Father, but Sesshoumaru wants you to call me Mommy. I think not. Your Father Sesshoumaru is a sadistic crazy person so he might think he can get away with that too."

Inuyasha grumbled as he lifted the pup out of the crib cradling the tiny bundle into his arms as he wrapped the cute dragon baby blanket around his son. Tsukiya's little clawed hands were covered by dragon skin gloves with soft rabbit fur over the tops and inside. Where Sesshoumaru had that stuff stashed Inuyasha had no idea, but the little booties made were of the same stuff so those little clawed fingers wouldn't scratch his skin.

Sesshoumaru really went all out with the nursery and it was ridiculously all boy with flying dragons on the walls. Sesshoumaru and his silly obsession with dragons. The man loved them even if that bastard dragon had a part in killing Father. Sure a dragon could kill Father, but a hanyou who had no clue who his Father was had been completely at fault. He was just a baby so how could he kill his own Father damn it.

Being sick and out cold for weeks was really getting on Inuyasha's last nerve. He had not only his son enjoy his milk, but his own mate had to become a milk fiend. It was like suddenly Sesshoumaru had this obsession with his lactating nipples and since they could not have sex yet it was just frustrating for Inuyasha who would be left horney all fucking night long after Sesshoumaru had his fill. Inuyasha even grumbled that at Sesshoumaru when he decorated the room for Tsukiya.

Sesshoumaru said that next time he would put up pictures of dogs with pointy ears to remind their pup of his Mother so he would remember to call Inuyasha Mommy not Daddy. Sesshoumaru was really funny some days.......not.

Tired and grumpy Inuyasha changed his son as he made goofball faces at Tsukiya explaining all of this silly stuff to his son.

"Your Daddy is a crazy person.....yes he is my son.......but he loves us so don't tell him I am telling you this stuff....... I am a guy you know so I am not going to let him fool you into thinking otherwise.'
"Daddy says I am a nag, but I don't nag him......he just doesn't listen to Daddy Inuyasha since he thinks he knows everything.....yes he does my little falling star.....he did pick a very good name for you though."

Inuyasha cooed at his son ignoring the fact Sesshoumaru was up trying hard not to laugh at his mate who was talking to their son while Tsukiya was laughing at him. The baby loved Inuyasha who could make the pup giggle on the third day of their son's young life after grasping his ear and pulling making Inuyasha yelp a bit at the tug. Still neither one of them minded the ripped out hair and Tsukiya was a happy baby who was spoiled by both his parents.

"Now Tsukiya we have to get you back to sleep although I know you want to play all night long. Daddy Inuyasha is tired and going to fall on his face if you don't. That would be terrible and we wouldn't want that......no...."

Inuyasha whispered to his son as he picked up the baby trying not to yelp when Tsukiya latched onto his sensitive nipple to draw the blood he needed from his parents along with the milk. Inuyasha was eternally grateful to Akiyoshi for the salve and pain pills. Sesshoumaru was not going to use the salve for weeks until he too became a bit sore.

Their son was a greedy little thing drinking their powerful blood enjoying it almost as much as his parents enjoyed drinking it from each other. Looking up Inuyasha saw Sesshoumaru smirking.

"How long have you been standing there?"

Inuyasha asked with his face turning white.

"Long enough to know I am a sadistic crazy man. Amusing Inuyasha, but you little Mommy need to get some rest here soon. Can't have you completely corrupting our son. He is going to think I am a big meanie that picks on Mommy if you keep going on like this.'
"Why don't you just talk to him like a normal person? You sound like Kagome and Ayame doing that crap. In other words you sound like a woman Inuyasha, but I think it is cute so keep it up little Mommy."

Sesshoumaru stated teasing Inuyasha with his baby talk.

"Funny....... Tsukiya don't listen to him. He doesn't know what he is talking about. Mommy......I mean Daddy Inuyasha makes you laugh don't I? You won't grow up to be a big grump like your parents especially that grumpy Daddy Sesshoumaru. You are going to be happy my pup and smile all the time."

Sesshoumaru caught that slip and started laughing. Tsukiya started laughing too at his silly Mommy who though he was a Daddy. Tsukiya knew better, but knew that his Mommy was a man so it would hurt his Mommy if he called him that around people so he would try to call Mommy Inuyasha Daddy. So he would humor his Mommy and call him Daddy.

The pup was smarter than these two parents of his were giving him credit for. Still Mommy was always funny. Mommy had funny ears, talked very silly, and was always making Daddy smile. Tsukiya really loved Mommy and hoped to be like both his parents since they were such powerful strong men.

"I will have you calling yourself Mommy Inuyasha before Tsukiya starts to say his first words my love. Come on Inuyasha you are getting Tsukiya all hyper and he will not get to sleep if you keep him laughing. Come to bed and let me finish feeding him. You are still healing and I know you are in pain."

Inuyasha reluctantly handed Tsukiya to Sesshoumaru kissing his mate on the cheek. Grasping some of the salve he placed it on his sore nipples and then closed the lid leaving it for Sesshoumaru who rocked their son to sleep not even flinching as his son bit into his chest to gain that powerful blood he needed to live.

"Don't listen to Mommy. He is the one who is crazy and you can tell that by the ears. Have you ever seen anything that crazy in your life Tsukiya?"

Tsukiya giggled again as Inuyasha yelled back into the nursery.

"I heard that Sesshoumaru. My ears are not deaf you know!"

Sesshoumaru whispered to his pup so that Inuyasha could not hear him.

"See I told you so. Huge antennas on top of his head and a big huge loud mouth."

Tsukiya laughed again except this time a little blood bubbled out of his tiny mouth. Sesshoumaru cleaned it up with a finger as the wound healed.

"Now now little one, no spilling your dinner."

Sesshoumaru scolded as he felt the pup latch onto him again. There was a peace in this and Sesshoumaru loved the little pain since it connected him with Tsukiya like nothing else would. This was his bonding time since he could not ever bond with his pup like Inuyasha had. Sesshoumaru could not carry his own pups according to the scrolls of the ancients. As an Alpha male Tsukiya would have the same problem.

There was one problem that bothered Sesshoumaru since he wanted many children. Inuyasha also wished for Tsukiya to be their only child together. All other children would be created through their female mates not that he could blame Inuyasha. His pregnancy was difficult and men had things much worse than females who were truly built to bear children. Still this little blessing brought them closer together then he could have imagined and he regretted that they could not just have more together if they all came out as beautiful as Tsukiya.

Tsukiya soon yawned as Sesshoumaru burped his son to get that air out so he would not be up all night fussing. The beautiful silk blankets and things they bought for their son were replaced with simple soft cotton things after having the silks shredded to pieces by those tiny claws.

Sesshoumaru placed spells on the soft cotton things that Tsukiya seemed to love so he did not always have to wear the little coverings. Tsukiya being a full demon would not notice the scratch marks as they would heal immediately. Demon babies always scratched themselves and it was Inuyasha's fussing that made Sesshoumaru decide to have the coverings made for his son. Sesshoumaru swore that Inuyasha had the power to talk him into anything at this point since he had given him the world by bringing Tsukiya into their lives.

Uncle Kouga, Uncle Miroku, Uncle Akiyoshi, Uncle Souta, Aunt Ayame, and Aunt Kagome spoiled the boy like mad. They all loved Tsukiya and he was indeed like his Fathers with the golden eyes that melted people like the sunshine when the two Fathers took their pup out walking along the parks.

People just stopped and fussed like mad over their son. Both men ended up with more phone numbers of women and men who thought they were single Fathers than they got before they had Tsukiya.

It seemed like more and more females were courting them since Inuyasha had actually set up that spell for them to meet their females. Most of the men's numbers they gave to Souta to tease him since he was not dating yet.

Inuyasha gave Souta hell, but the little human was amusing allowing them to tease him since Souta met a young man he ended up having a crush on. It just so happened this same young man was their adopted son Shippo. He had disguised himself pretty good even for them. Fox demons were excellent at disguising themselves and tricking people. It seemed like the whole family was back together after Tsukiya's birth.

Kagome had been shocked her brother was gay, but accepted it with grace and was happy for him just as she had been for the two Inu brothers as well as the wolves. Unlike the wolves and the Inu's Souta was not bi. He was completely gay and finding out Shippo was becoming the same way was a surprise to them all.

The little fox demon had a way with women for years, but after too many heart breaks he fell for Souta not knowing he was Kagome's brother. It had been more of a joke and way to mess with people when Shippo started going to the gay clubs only to find he actually preferred the company there.

Shippo had loved Kagome like a Mother and Souta reminded him of her when they met in a popular gay bar in town. Soon they hit it off and had gone out a few times. Shippo was in love, but Souta had no clue what he was in for. He did not know that Shippo was a fox demon until he received the shock of his life and had about the same reaction to it as Kagome had to Akiyoshi's change. That had been fun.

Sesshoumaru gave up on looking for his female mate. He was content with being a father for now with his tiny son. Inuyasha seemed to feel the same way. They both figured things would happen as they were supposed to as time went by since for now life was bliss.
