After spending several hours studying and learning how to read Inuyasha felt tired. He was no longer allowed to spar anymore since he started showing.

Sesshoumaru was being so annoying too. He was humming lately. The asshole was so damn happy it was ridiculous. No one, especially Sesshoumaru should be that happy. Then again he wasn’t the one getting fat.

“I had better be pregnant and not just sick getting fat.”

Inuyasha muttered to himself as he started to walk along the trails of the gardens.

Suddenly a whoosh of air flowed past him and Sesshoumaru was there with the wolf prince pinned to the tree.

“Not you again………Kouga I already said no….”

Kouga had a bundle of flowers and some other gifts from his tribe that all fell on the ground. Inuyasha went to pick them up, but Sesshoumaru growled.

“You will let my mate alone wolf. You are not welcome here.”

Kouga snarled.

“You will abandon him when you have had what you wanted. I don’t want him killed or abandoned again. He was my friend before he became accepted as your brother.”

Inuyasha sighed.

“Kouga you need to stop trying to woo me. Kagome is dead and I am not her replacement. I am also in love with Sesshoumaru. We love each other. Move on already.”

Kouga was let go of.

“You will change your mind when you see how your mate acts after the pup is born Inuyasha. He is a cold hearted bastard……….”

Sesshoumaru went to attack the wolf again, but Inuyasha put a soothing hand on his brother.

“Don’t kill him Sesshoumaru. Believe me beating the truth into his head doesn’t work either. He will figure it out. Let’s go inside.”

Kouga picked up the gifts and set them by the tree.

“If you want these things they are not just from me. They are for the pup from the Northern tribe. A place that would accept you if you want to come home.”

At that Kouga left. Inuyasha felt a headache coming on. Sesshoumaru seethed, but Inuyasha just went over to pick up the gifts.

“Look you can burn these if you want to Sess……his words don’t matter to me.”

Sesshoumaru growled.

“They don’t? Then why the fuck did you let him go?”

Inuyasha leaned into Sesshoumaru.

“Because he was an old friend and I know if Kagome was alive she wouldn’t want me to allow him to come to harm. I wish to honor her memory with at least saving one life even if he doesn’t deserve it Sess.”

Sesshoumaru put an arm around Inuyasha possessively. His mate was being pursued by one, how many others would come for him if they knew that this wolf lived after threatening the Great Lord of the West? It would be hypocritical to kill the others, but Sesshoumaru in secret had done so.

Every day after his Mother’s arrival there had been suitors for Inuyasha sending gifts and flowers to his mate wanting him after the pup was born. It wasn’t even born yet and it didn’t matter. Sesshoumaru wouldn’t live without Inuyasha. He loved him.

“I will let the wretch live, but if he even tries to take you I will kill him. You won’t stop me.”

Sesshoumaru looked down at his beloved. Inuyasha was so lovely today. He was wearing the golden silk kimono with the cranes. It made him shine like a jewel and he even let the maids put beads in his hair.

“I understand Sess…”

Sesshoumaru kissed his mate with such passion that it left Inuyasha gasping for air. Lifting his mate into his arms he carried Inuyasha into the bedroom.

Inuyasha waited as Sesshoumaru slowly removed his robes touching his skin gently. Kissing down Inuyasha’ collar bone Sesshoumaru pulled out the sandalwood oil that Inuyasha liked.

Inuyasha was about to protest when they were both greeted by Mother.

“Let me guess, he has a craving.”

Louna stated with a smile patting the pup on the head and making the two of them sit.

“My Lady these boys, nothing but trouble. Come into my kitchen leave a mess eating all my finest pepperoni and sausage ok? Ok….no come into my kitchen no more…I tella them both good…out and stay out.”

At that food was brought in by servants and Louna had to smile at her Chef. Mario was an excellent cook and he was indeed correct. Lords should not be making their own food.

“Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru you herea my Chef? Stay outa his kitchen.”

Inuyasha chuckled where Sesshoumaru just snorted at his Mother’s sense of humor. It was very messed up for a Japanese woman to talk like an Italian.
