Scene 12 ------------------------------------------- Two Days Later

* It took a couple hours for Kouga to finally track Inuyasha down, but then he decided to just stalk him awhile to study him, to learn his actual mood, to scent how far along his heat is. When he comes to the conclusion that the hanyou isn't quite in his most desperate stage yet the ookami decides to just shadow him and wait. As Inuyasha moves sullenly from place to place through the forest he is only vaguely aware of being watched. But since he gets a whiff of Kouga's scent he gives no alarm and just gets lost in his own thoughts of where his life will end up from this point. As each day passes he becomes more and more aware of his 'situation'. Now, two days after they began their silent shadowplay of ghosting each others' presences, Inuyasha finds himself standing near a very familiar pool of water. After an internal sigh at what he knows will now be inevitable, Inuyasha moves down into the water and sets about cooling himself. It isn't long until he senses Kouga wander closer than he previously has. Inuyasha slowly raises his head and pitches his ears toward the area where he 'knows' Kouga is hiding.

Inuyasha - I know you're there, Kouga.

* Though the words are spoken normally, Kouga's keen hearing picks them up. With a low growl of desire that he's struggling to control, the ookami makes himself known. Inuyasha just stays quiet as he watches the wolf demon posture his way closer. The closer he gets to the hanyou, the more his scent drives his instincts to the fore. He gives another growl as he comes right up to face down Inuyasha, expecting some sort of confrontation from the usually-willful half-breed. It stuns him slightly out of his desires when Inuyasha just lowers his eyes and stays in his crouched position.

Kouga - I'm here to take you, Mutt...

* Inuyasha's ears flatten, but then he just gives a curt nod. This makes the Wolf demon force himself to calm down.

Kouga - You give me no contest?

* Inuyasha shakes his head.

Inuyasha - I-I have nothing to fight for... I can feel your power... I have felt it these past two days.

* Inuyasha glances around briefly.

Inuyasha - It's why I've come back here.

* Now Kouga glances around, somewhat embarrassed in the fact that he was so caught up in the pursuit that he hadn't noticed where they now were.

Inuyasha - Without my own... pack... I have nothing to be alpha over...

* Inuyasha now glances up at Kouga.

Inuyasha - You still have a pack... You're still alpha...

* Inuyasha sighs deeply, then shakes his head again.

Inuyasha - I won't contest you, Lord Kouga... You may take your claim on me.

* Kouga's lips curl, exposing his fangs reflexively, when Inuyasha tilts his head to the side exposing his neck to him.

Kouga - I'm following you, mutt... because your 'lost' pack has sent me... to bring you back to them.

* After a moment Inuyasha looks back up at Kouga.

Kouga - Now... as much as I would love... to have you squirming beneath me...

* Kouga stifles a low snarl as best he can.

Kouga - I have to get you back to them.

* Inuyasha pauses to look up at Kouga for a moment then stands up to face him.

Inuyasha - Kouga, I... I can't go back... Not as far along in this as I am...
Kouga - Believe me, I'd love to take you... But even my youkai recognizes who you really gave yourself to...

* Inuyasha swallows.

Kouga - Right now that boy needs you worse than I do... You're still his alpha...
Inuyasha - I'd hurt him...
Kouga - No more than that scrap of trash did...

* Inuyasha sighs and sinks to sit back down. After a moment of thought Inuyasha shakes his head.

Inuyasha - No, Kouga... I won't take him when I'm like this... I need to get this heat out of my system...

* With a sudden growl Kouga bends down and gathers the hanyou up, tossing him over his shoulder.

Kouga - Then let's take care of the problem.

* Inuyasha gives no protest as the wolf demon hurries up the hill to his private cave. He sets Inuyasha down and turns to place a barrier at the entrance once again. Kouga then turns back to look at Inuyasha.

Kouga - There's only one way we can do this that will leave you free to return to Shippo, mutt.

* Inuyasha seems to get the drift as he watches Kouga move closer to the round bed of straw and furs. His ears pitch forward when Kouga begins to remove his furry clothing and armour. Still in submissive mode, Inuyasha goes over and strips his own wet clothing. But before he can move to lay on the bed Kouga beats him there and lays on his back. Inuyasha stares down at him speechless.

Kouga - Do you want me like this... or do we do it the natural way?
Inuyasha - Kouga,...
Kouga - Contrary to your thoughts, mutt, I'm not an idiot... I know that because you're half human you'll have more control on top than I will... You'll be able to keep from marking me...
Inuyasha - Yes, but... then that means that this...

* Inuyasha motions between them with a hand.

Inuyasha - Won't mean anything...
Kouga - I told you, mutt... I know who you want.
Inuyasha - Then this will just be... sex... You don't want me as your...
Kouga - I'm starting to think you need to get Kagome to trim the fur out of your ears, half-breed...

* The hanyou sighs then sinks to squat beside Kouga.

Inuyasha - You could just leave. The barrier will protect me in here until...
Kouga - That will take too many days. The little fox needs you. Now will you shut up and mount me, already?

* Inuyasha glances timidly at Kouga, then closes his eyes to think a few minutes. Kouga's patience is just about to give when his tail switches with his growing aggitation. The strong, musky scent invades Inuyasha's nostrils like an imposing invisible army. When the Inu's eyes pop open they drop to meet Kouga's. The ookami sees the red seeping to take over the white around his pupils and grins inwardly, 'That's it, Doggy... Come to papa'. A couple more slow waves of his tail and Inuyasha's body moves down to begin sniffing the warm body before him, as if drawn by a magnet. At the stage his heat is in, Inuyasha has no choice but to move over this body that's being willingly offered to him. His controling youkai, however, is forced to stay aware of the conditions Kouga has set forth. Therefore, the act is carried out with nothing more than pure, primal, frenzied lust between them. The cave echoes with their cries and growls of something nearly sounding of rage as the powerful ookami and the hanyou couple out of necessity periodically throughout the rest of the day and on through the night, giving themselves over to slumber in between nature's dances until they are at last exhausted and satisfied. As Kouga requested, the hanyou has managed to leave him unmarked by refusing to give in to the desire to bite the ookami's neck.
