A/N:Thanks for reading my first story.There will be some character deaths later in the story and I plain to make it a long one.There are many original characters in this story. This will be the only story I will be working on for the time being, so that it can get my full dedication.Please review, be honest but not harsh. I will try my best to up date every day.

Zane saw Jade carring a large bag full of her belongings. "Let the servants get that for you." He knew what her answer would be, she would say no.

"No, I have it. It is not that heavy anyway." The bag was large but looked like it did not have to much in it. When she got to the carriage Zane reached over and took it from her. "This is pretty lite. When Mioko comes with me she brings four or five large, heavy bags full of things she doesn't really need. I see you are more like me and only bring the necesities." He chuckled and put the bag in the carriage.

"So how long will it take us to get there?"

"Well the boat trip from our island of Shikoku to the island of Honshu takes a couple of hours, but Osaka is a seaport. So as soon as we get off the boat there will be no more traveling to be done. All we have to do is get off the boat and we are there.Of course we have to get to the boat first,so please get into the carriage." She giggled and climbed in.

"What we will we do when we get there?"Jade had never been so excited in her intire life. The carriage was preparing to leave when King Tabis ran out, in his night clothes none the less." Wait, Stop the carriage!" He ran over to the door on the side where Jade was sitting and opened it. " You didn't say good bye, or give me a hug."
She laughed and gave him a hug, he was squeezing her so tight. "Okay, now remember no boys. Stay with your brother at all times. If he has to go some where you can not, stay in the inn, do not leave for any reason. No boys. Don't talk to strangers. Be safe and did I mention no boys."

"Yes, Daddy I will be on my best behavior and no boys." She once again laughed.

"Father, Jade is an angel. She is with me so she will be fine, don't worry. We must go now if we are going to make good time." He gave his Father an annoyed look.

"Yes, do not let me keep you any longer." His was arms were still around Jade.

"Daddy you have to let go of me if we are going to leave. We will only be gone for five days."

"Yes, I'm sorry, but it will seem like forever. I have never been away from you for longer than a day." He let go and gave her a kiss on the forehead. He closed the door and looked like he was going to cry. Jade blew him a kiss and they were on their way.

"So, you were about to tell me what we are going to do when we get there, remember."

"Yes, Well first I have some business to take care of so I will escort you to the inn. Then I will have to leave, but it should only take me a few hours. When I come back It will most likely be night, but I know no this restaurant where they serve some of the best food ever. We can eat dinner there and then go back to the inn."

"Almost all day inside. Well at least it's not the castle."She looked slightly disappointed.

" Don't worry we can sightsee in the morning. We have four more days after today, we can do alot in that time." She smiled and looked out the window. By the time they had reached the end of the castle grounds Zane was asleep,but not Jade. She was alert and watching everything. After a few miles the scennery was so different, Jade could not believe her eyes.
"Zee look at that. Wow and that."She was so energetic that it looked like she was a child in a candy store.

Zane lifted his head. "Yes,I see it." Zane had traveled these roads many of times he did not find it exciting. He put his head back in his hands and feel back to sleep. Jade laid back and continued to look out the window at the changing countryside.
Sesshomaru had alerted Bo 'Rai Cho of the trip. So of course he closely followed the carriage. He had still not let her out of his sight for all this time, eventhough he knew Sesshomaru had been watching her. Sesshomaru would not follow her on this trip though, he said he had something to do. Also he did not want to leave Rin alone with Jaken that long and he did not want to take her that far. Bo 'Rai Cho was biding his time until the day he felt he could tell her the truth. Until then he would continue to watch her from the shadows. It only took two hours to reach the ocean.
"Zee, we're here wake up." Jade shook him hard.

"I'm awake, please stop shaking me."

"Sorry, I am just so excited." They got out of the carriage and Zane and the guard began to unload it. They had only brought one guard named Touya along for the trip. He would accompany them so that if Zane had to leave Jade she would not be alone. He was the Kings most trusted and skilled guardsman. The King trusted him with his life and the life of his family. If Zane was with Jade, Touya was free to do as he wanted. Zane worked as a skilled assiassin for his father, so the King knew that no one would be able to harm her with him around. Jade did know that he was a skilled swordsman, but she knew nothing of his murderous job. That is actually why he was making this trip, he had a hit in a small village right out side of Osaka. There was a warlord there who had threatened his father.

They went and put there bags on the boat. Jade was so amazed at the sight of the boat. "Wow, it is so big. I have read about boats but never actually seen one. We are getting on that one?"

"Yes,how else do you suppose we will get there,swim." Touya had a good sence of humor.

"I think me and Jade could make it, but you. I think you would drown form all your muscles." Zane liked to joke as well. Him and Touya were best friends.

"Good one Zane. I almost forgot to laugh."

"You two are hilarious. I think this trip will be a fun one with you two here." Jade smiled at both of them. They climbed on the boat. Touya's facial expression quickly changed.
"He doesn't do to well on boats. He always gets seasick. Touya do you need me to get you a bucket?" Zane was laughing uncontrollably.

"Shut your mouth, or if I do feel sick I will come right next to you."` At that moment the boat began to move. Touya sat down and put his head between his legs. Jade went and sat next to him and began to rub his back." So boats aren't your thing, no biggie, you can't be good at every thing." Touya liked that she was rubbing him and her words were so calming. He had to try his best to keep his mind on something else, but he could not take it any longer." I am okay there is no need for you to rub my back." Eventhough he truely did want her to.

" I'll be right back. I want to go talk to the captin." Zane left. Jade looked up and notice a man in a hooded cloak sitting on the opposite side of the boat. He seemed to be staring at her. She could feel power flowing off of him. The cloak was hiding every thing but his eyes which were glowing deep blue. It was Bo 'Rai Cho when he saw she was staring back at him he closed his eyes and acted like he had fallen asleep. Jade was still staring, she could not help it, he felt some how familiar.

"Jade what is it, does he bother you?" Touya could see she was staring at the hooded man.

"No,I was just looking at the water behind him." She hated to lie, but knew if she said he was staring at her Zane and Touya would make a scene. Jade put the man out of her mind. She leaned over onto Touya and fell asleep. Touya didn't feel so sick anymore, she had taken his mind off the rocking of the boat.

"Don't get to confortable Touya." Zane had come back from his talk. " I will take her off you hands." He sat down on the otherside of Jade and pulled her head over to his shoulder. Touya looked slightly disappointed. He had always liked Jade, but was loyal to his king. So he would never let himself feel for her to much. Zane knew this, so he tried his best to help keep his friends feelings in check. Jade was completely unawear of his feelings for her or she would not play with him the way she does. The boat trip seemed like it didn't take long at all.They were almost there so Zane woke Jade up so she could see them pull in to the dock.

"Wake up sleepy. We are here."

"Really, already?" Jade stood up. She could not believe her eyes, it was so nice. The boat pulled up to the dock and they got off. Touya went and got the bags and then they were off for the inn. Jade kept trying to stop and look at things ,but Zane knew they had no time. He had to get going, so he could prepare himself for his kill.

"Come on Jade I know you want to see things, but I have to get going. We will do this tomorrow." He pulled her away from a stand where they were selling beautiful necklaces. She looked very disappointed. " Don't worry I will bring you back here tomorrow." They rushed down to the inn. Zane got them a room. There was only one left. It was a big one with a rice paper wall , in the middle to divied it, so it was like two rooms in one. The rice paper wall had an opening in it like a door, the opening had a curtain drapped over it. " I have to go now Jade. This is your side of the room. If you need something just go through that curtain and Touya will be on the otherside. Don't leave this room." He smiled at her and then turned to Touya. " I need to see you in the hall." They went into the hall so Jade could not hear them.

" Try your best to contain yourself Touya."

" I would never try anything with her. You are my friend and the king my boss is her father."

" I know you don't think you would try, but I also know that you have had a crush on her since your father was our guard and you were a guard in trianing. I just wanted to remind you friend. If you feel she is going to tempt you, do not go to her side of the room. Do not let her talk you into taking her out of the inn. I know you can be weak sometimes when it comes to her. I will return shortly, till then my precious sister is in your hands." Zane turned to leave.

" Zane I know there is no need to say this, but be careful." Touya turned and went back in the room. When he entered Jade was sitting on the floor going through her bag.

"Touya I left my book. Has Zane left?" She had a devilish smile on her face.

"I know what you are thinking and the answer is no. We will stay here till he gets back."Touya quickly turned and went through the curtain as to not see her sad face.

"Come on Touya," She peeked around the curtain, "Please I will get you anything you want ,Daddy gave me money." Jade gave him her famous pout face.

" Jade,please do not do this to me. Plus what I want money can not buy." If she had only known what he wanted at that moment she would have smacked him.

" Okay I won't bother you about it anymore, I promise. But please come sit with me"

"No, I need some rest. The trip made me tired." He was lying he just did not want to be alone with her. He knew Zane was swift with his job and would be back soon. He would stay on the other side of the room till then.


"Well, okay I guess I will just have to be lonely. When Zane comes back tell him I was not hungry so I went to bed and don't want to be awakened." She went back to her side. Touya felt bad he wanted to keep her company,but did not want to think dirty thoughts about her. This was his first time ever really being alone with her. His job was to stay at the kings side which is where he almost always was. Except at night when the king was asleep with his wife and he would go and fuck Mioko which everyone knew about even the king. No one thought anything of it, Mioko was 22 and not married. She had to get it from somewhere and since Touya was not allowed to leave the grounds unless he was with the king she uesed that to her advantage. He would never complain, he liked the things she did in bed, but he always wanted Jade just a little more. It's like when someone tells you something is off-limits, that thing becomes even more coveted. They did talk every once in awhile but Mioko was usually there or Zane. So he did not know if he was alone with her what he might do. He could see her silhouette through the rice paper she was getting undressed." She must be getting into her night clothes. Maybe I should go and take a look.What am I thinking?" He smacked his forehead for thinking such things.
"The sooner Zane comes back the better."

"Good night Touya. Don't forget to tell Zane for me."She yelled over to him

"Good night, I will not." He saw her blow out the candle and was happy she was going to sleep. He was quite hard." I think when Zane returns I will go and get me a whore. New pussy will do me some good. I will try to sleep till then."He had just drifted off when Zane came in.

"It is done. I pray for his soul." Zane felt bad after each kill and always prayed for their souls.

"That did not take long. I think It is a new record."Touya got up and grabbed his money."I do not think I will be back tonight." He chuckled.

" I see, have fun. Is Jade asleep?"

"Yes, she said not to wake her. Well see you tomorrow, maybe.If I am not back I will return before the boat leaves." He left so fast that Zane could not get another word in. Zane tried to be quiet as to not wake up his sister,but she had never really gone to sleep.She was trying to sneak up on him but he could hear her.

"BOO!"Jade jumped out only to find no one there. She was puzzled."I could have sworn."

"Looking for me. You need some training in how to be more quiet."Zane was standing right behind her. He lit a candle and put it on the floor.

"Zane, what happened to you?"

"What, nothing."He was confused.

"You have some blood on your forhead.Are you not hurt?" She looked very worried.

"I am fine. I.....Um......Hit my head."

"Do you want me to treat your wound?"

"NO! I will be fine. Let me go wash it off."He knew that was a close one. He did not want her to know that he was a killer.

"Alright, if you are sure you are okay. I am going to go back to sleep."

"Wait,before you go I got you something. I felt bad that I had to leave you and wanted to make it up to you."He handed her something wrapped up in paper. When she opened the paper she found the necklace that she had been admiring earlier.

"Zee,You are the best brother in the world." She gave him a great big hug. The necklace was a choker.It was made out of blue seashells and in the middle was a single quarter sized jade stone that hung down a little."I love it."
For the rest of the days that they were to stay, they had lots of fun. They saw little of Touya,but he did do a couple of things with them. Bo 'Rai Cho was always watching as usual. Of course Zane new they were being followed, but every time he would go to invesigate there would be no one there. The whole time they were there Jade could not get Sesshomaru off her mind. Eventhough she was doing things she had never done, she still could not get away from her feelings for him. Zane noticed her mind was some where else, but he did not ask, it was her business. It was now time for them to go back. Jade could not wait she had always longed to get away from the castle,but now wished to be back there for she longed to be with him.

I need you all as readers to get to know Jade, it is a part of the plot. You will understand better later in the story. I want you to know what kind of person she is and how she stole Sesshomaru's heart. I am trying my best to speed it up,but as I said it will be a long story and I hope you all hang on for the ride. This story has many diffrernt angles kind of like the movie "SAW" where it jumps around alot and shows flashbacks to explain things better. You may not understand why now, but the story will all come together in the end. Thank you and much love to you all.
