When Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru came back there was a banquet set out for them of all sorts of wonderful things including some human delicacies for Inuyasha. The staff seemed to hover around the pup and then of all people to show up Sesshoumaru looked up to see his Mother standing there looking as though she were going to strangle him.
“Hello my son.”
Sesshoumaru bowed before his Mother and nodded to Inuyasha to do the same.
“What brings you here Mother?”
Sesshoumaru stated through clenched teeth.
“Oh, a little sparrow told me that you have a mate and that your mate is with pup. So I came to witness for myself. You did not tell me that it was your half brother that was bearing your child however.”
Inuyasha felt the hostility, but it seemed like it wasn’t towards him so he started to go for the food.
“A, a, ah little one. You cannot eat such garbage. Even for a half demon this human food is not suitable for the pup you carry.”
Clapping her hands a demon servant appeared bowing low to the Queen of the Inu’s.
“Mother, Inuyasha has to have some human food for his own health too.”
Louna looked up at her son and frowned.
“Of course he does, but my servant will create his meals from now on until my Grandbaby is born. I will not have you corrupting it or letting it fend for itself like you did with this poor unfortunate boy. Come to Mommy sweetling.”
Louna wrapped her arms around Inuyasha who looked at Sesshoumaru like ‘what the fuck’? He was never so embarrassed in all his life and he thought he got past that with this dress nonsense.
“I won’t let that big bully son of mine push you around. You should be in bed resting now come with Mommy. I will take good care of you.”
Louna cooed as Inuyasha smacked his hand against his forehead. Sesshoumaru tried not to laugh and at the same time tried not to scream. His Mother was going to take over his house.
Inuyasha looked sadly at the food he had to leave behind, but soon a delicious meal was brought on a tray while Inuyasha sat like a little kid on the bed. Louna had the maids dress him in the new kimono he got scolding Sesshoumaru for ruining the other.
“But Mother, I wasn’t in my……..”
Louna frowned.
“You still can’t control him can you? It was the same when you were a child. Well it is a good thing I am here or this poor child would be a mess.”
Inuyasha wanted to grumble that he still was one except he kind of liked this being pampered. He also missed his Mother so it was nice to be smothered by Sess’s Mom. Maybe his ass would be safe tonight, but then again he wasn’t too keen on keeping it safe anymore so maybe this wasn’t such a swell idea.
Louna kissed Inuyasha on the cheek and started organizing Sesshoumaru’s bedroom getting buckets for the morning sickness and preparing for the birth as though it was going to happen that day.

Kouga hurried back to his den to talk to Ginta and Hakkaku. They had to save Inuyasha from that bastard brother of his. Had he known Inuyasha was a beta male he wouldn’t have ever pursued Kagome and he would have taken Inuyasha for his own. The puppy was strong and he would give that bastard a strong pup. However, after that was done what would the bastard do with Inuyasha? The mating marks would fade and Inuyasha could choose another.
“Ginta, Hakkaku did you know that Inuyasha was a beta?”
The two wolf boys looked confused.
“I always thought he was an Alpha hanyou.”
Kouga frowned. Maybe he was to them.
“I don’t see him as one.”
Ginta spoke up to defend Inuyasha.
“But he is strong and smart. He has so many friends too and the hanyous look up to him. They call him the Alpha hanyou.”
Hakkaku nodded agreeing.
“Well apparently he is a beta otherwise he couldn’t bear pups.”
Ginta shook his head at his leader.
“That is not true when it comes to Inu demons since they have no choice. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha are the only ones left of their kind that we know of that were unmated.”
Kouga thought about things. His plan may not work then.
“I was thinking about having him as my beta when Sesshoumaru is done with him. Inuyasha will need a home when he is tossed out again. No demon like Sesshoumaru wants his name sullied by being mated to a hanyou for too long. I on the other hand see Inuyasha as valuable. He is a pain in the ass, but he deserves better then that jerk of a brother of his. I want you two to let the pack know and we will set up a place for him here.”
Ginta frowned and Hakkaku shook his head. This was a bad idea. Sesshoumaru wouldn’t let his mate go even after the pup was born considering the value of a hanyou that could bear children. They could repopulate their nation and so Kouga really needed to back off although both knew he would not.
Ayame had bore Kouga cubs a few times, but he was done with her. The two of them fought too much to stick it out plus there were plenty of wolves so they didn’t have a problem with procreation like the Inus did. This was going to bite Kouga in the ass.
