A/N:Thanks for reading my first story.There will be some character deaths later in the story and I plain to make it a long one.There are many original characters in this story. This will be the only story I will be working on for the time being, so that it can get my full dedication.Please review, be honest but not harsh. I will try my best to up date every day.

Jade got out of the bath and put on her robe. She walked swiftly to her room because she was cold and wanted to dry off then put on something warm. When she opened her door she was surprised to see Sesshomaru leaning up against the wall next to the fireplace. She gasped no one outside of her family had ever seen her in nothing but a robe . Then she thought to herself "He doesn't know that I am naked under here." She went over to her chest full of gowns and began to look through it. When she looked up at him, he was smirking at her.

"Why do you smirk at me am I funny to you? and how did you get up here?" Jade wondered how he could get all the way up to her room without a ladder or something.

"No, you are not funny to me and I jumped up here."

"No way, It is to far to jump. How did you really get up here?" she said laughing.

" I jumped. I would not lie to you. Do you want to see?"He walked over to the balcony and jumped down then jumped right back up.

"Wow, how do you do that?"she was shocked.

"I can do many things. It is one of my natural talents. Do you have any?"

"Well I do. I guess I can show you one."She closed her eyes she looked as though she was asleep.Then Sesshomaru felt a tap on his shoulder. He quickly turned around to see Jade standing behind him. She walked around him and over to her body. " Do I really look like that?"She turned and smiled at him and then her body opened its eyes and the other Jade was gone."Do you like?"

" I have not met to many people who can do that.Yes, I like.Can you do more?" He was real curious now.

"Yes, but I am not that good at them. Maybe I will show you at another time. What about you do you have more?"

"Yes, but I will show you at a later time."He began to stare at her. He could tell by the way the robe was pressing on her body that she had nothing under it. Thoughts of touching her body quickly flooded his mind. He shook his head and smiled.

"What are you thinking?" Jade went closer to the fire so she could add more wood.

" I was thinking you might want to put on some more clothes." He wanted her to put some on so that he could concentrate on why he was really there.

"You can tell? I was sure that you would not be able to. Must be looking pretty
hard. "

"Yes, I am, I mean I can. Just put some on."

"Alright if it bothers you that much." She went over to grab a gown,and was going to go put it on when she thought about something. She turned to look at him."Wait, this is my room and I can walk around any way I choose. You can't tell me what to do. If you don't like that you can just leave" She was suprised to see him head right for the balcony."Wait,please don't leave I am sor... well just don't go. I like to talk to you and I want to find out what your friend had to say"

" I don't let anyone talk to me like that and if you think I will let you sorry but you are mistaken." He turned and was about to jump off the balcony when Jade grabbed his arm. He looked down to see her staring back up at him.
"Please, don't go. I am sorry, sometimes I get carried away with my words. Please forgive me." Her beautiful eyes had such remorse in them that I don't think the devil himself could have told her no. Sesshomaru turned and got down off the railing.
"Thank you." She said letting go of his arm.

" I will forgive you this once, but do not let it happen again." He had never really wanted to leave in the first place,but of course he was not going to tell her that.

"So what did your friend say?Will he meet with me?"

"Not yet, but he said he will soon."

"Alright, but I hope it is not that long off."She looked diasppointed.

"Do not look like that. I am sure it won't be to long.Well I have to get going"

"Will you come back and see me again?"

"Yes, I will."Sesshomaru left. He went and told Bo 'Rai Cho that he would return in a few days that he had to go check on Rin. That he had left her to long alone with Jaken. He left ,but then came back a few nights later.Over thet next three weeks he came to see Jade almost every night.They talked about things like what they had done that day and how her father was unfair. They had become good friends. Jade even gave him a nickname that if anyone else would have called him he would have surely killed them. Then one day she had exciting news and could not wait to tell him.

Sesshomaru jumped up to Jade's balcony where she was waiting for him. As soon as he got there she ran over to him and garbbed him and gave him a shake.
"Guess what Sesshe?" she gave him a great big smile.

He was angry but when he saw her smile it calmed him a little."What is it Jade?"

" Daddy is going to let me go with Zee to Osaka. Isn't that wonderful. I leave in a couple hours."

He looked away."Yes. it is." Jade could tell something was wrong with him.
"Sesshe what is the matter?"She grabbed his hand and pulled him into her room.They sat down on the fur rug in front of the fire."So what is it?" He knew if he told her the whole story he would have to reveal to her that he was a demon. He had never told her for fear that she would not talk to him anymore. Well he thought now would be a good time if there ever was one.

"Jade there is something about me you don't know." He let out a sigh and stopped. Nothing he had ever done was this hard to him. See he had fallen in love with her and did not want her to reject him.

"Sesshe you are scaring me. What is it?" She looked worried for him.

"Jade, I am going to tell you something that might make you never want to see me again."

"Nothing you could say could ever make me not want to see you. So go ahead."

"Jade......., I am a demon." He looked at her and waited for a reaction, but did not get the one he thought he would."Did you hear me?"

She began to laugh."Yes, I heard you. Silly, I have known that you are a demon for awhile now."

"But, how?" He was real curious at how she had figured it out.

"My sister saw you in my room one night about a week and a half ago. The next morning she asked me what you wanted and I told her you were my friend. She told me that you were a demon, I told her I could care less. She told me I should not see you anymore and I told her that would never happen, because....Well it doesn't matter why. That was the end of that conversation."

"You are not mad that I did not tell you?" He could not figure it out. He was sure that she would be upset.

"No,why would I be, it is your business. Plus I never asked. I like you regardless of what you are. I love you for you." At that moment she realized what she had just said. She turned and looked him in the eyes to see if he had heard her. He could not believe his ears did she just say she loved him. His heart skipped a beat. He knew he had fallen in love with her, but never thought she would feel the same. He quickly pulled himself together, maybe it was a mistake and she meant it in a friend love way. Yes that was it she had to have meant it like that.

"So Sesshe is that what is bothering you? Cuz if it is you don't have to worry about that."

"No, Remember when you asked me if I had any siblings and I told you I didn't want to talk about it. Well I have a younger brother, but he is a fithty half demon and he is always getting in my way. Today he just pissed me off so bad that I wanted to kill him. Of course his stupid human friends got in the way. I mean that with no insult to you. It just gets me upset. I am sorry this does not concern you, I should not bring you into it." He was mad at himself now because he rarely showed emotion. It was just something he did not do. When he was around her he felt like he didn't have to hold it all inside.

"Sesshe you should not worry, you can tell me anything. I see that you are conflicted about your feelings for your brother. I want you to remember half brother or not he is your family, your blood, and you should love him. Do you not like humans that much that you would hate your own brother because he has that blood in him. Don't get angry, but I think you are lying to yourself. I think you love your brother and you are angry at him for another reason." She knew this would make him angry, but it had to be said if she was going to help him.

" Me love him, are you mad? I hate all humans. I could care less if they all died today." He looked at her with such anger in his eyes.

"So what about Rin. I know you love her and she is human, is she not. Sesshomaru what about me, I am human do you wish me to die as well. I thought we were friends and you cared for me but obviously not." She got up and started to walk away when he pulled her down back beside him. What he was about to say to her was very hard for him to do.
"You are right, I love Rin very much and yes she is human. Jade, I would never want any harm to come to you. You are my very dear friend and the only person I have ever been able to talk to like this. I keep all my emotions bottled up so it will seem like I am heartless,but you see right through me. Only you can see the real me." He leaned forward and gave her a soft slow kiss. Her lips were so soft that he did not want to pull away but he knew he had to. When he pulled away her eyes were still closed. She slowly opened them and blushed. The look on her face then turned into shock.
"Jade forgive me. I got to rapped up in my feelings for you."

" You did nothing wrong. That was my first kiss and I know I will never forget it. Sesshe I...." She was interrupted by a knock at her door.

"Jade, are your bags ready? We leave in ten minutes." It was Zane.

"Um, Yes Zee I am all ready. I packed last night."

"Do you want me to come in and help you get them?"

" No, I am not dressed yet. Come back in a few minutes."

"Okay."They could hear him walk away.

"Sesshe you have to go. I will see you when I come back. I will be gone for five days."

"When you come back we must talk."

" Okay, Sesshe be good and safe. Try not to kill your brother while I am away. If you feel like you want to harm him think of me." She gave him a hug.

" I will try just for you not to slay him." He jumped off the balcony and was gone.
