A New Scheme

A/N Okay first before I begin this story. I just want to point out I'm not an overly obsessive fan of Inuyasha. It doesn't mean I hate it for if it was I wouldn't be writing this. I also don't know what's all going to be in this story other then the voilence and the male/female relationship thing.

"Kagome!" Kagome's mother called out to her from the doorway.
"What is it mom?"
"I just got off the phone with your Uncle Kenji."
"Yeah?" Kagome said as she came in through the doorway heading to her room.
"Akira will be coming to stay with us for a while."
Kagome rolled her eyes at the thought of her cousin Katelyn from the states coming here. She hates going by her Japanese name, but then again she doesn't like being called Katelyn either. She was always difficult, not to mention the both of them almost always faught.
Kagome's Uncle Kenji moved to the states several years ago long before she was born. Where he married an American woman and later had Katelyn, every other Summer the three of them would visit for the time being.
"When will they be here?" Kagome asked. If she was lucky she could spend most of that time with Inuyasha and the others searching for the Jewel Shards.
"No its just Akira coming this time."
"Your joking right?"
"Kagome why cant you two get along? Please try to get along with Akira while she's here. And Please don't be spending all the time she's here with Inuyasha."
"Fine, I'll be nice mom but I can't promise she wont."
"What's with the arguing?" Sota asked as he walked inside the house.
"Your cousin Akira is going to visit us for a while."
"I see. Kagome have fun with her."
"I'll be picking her up at the airport tomorrow I expect you to be here Kagome."
"Hey mom why don't Kagome go with you tomorrow I'm sure she'd love to see Akira as she gets out of the terminal." Sota said.
"I think thats a wonderful idea, that way I know she wont go running off until after Akira gets here."
Kagome gave Sota a cold stare. "I'll get you for this Sota."

The next day Kagome went with her mom to meet with Akira. "There's the plane Akira is on." Kagome's mom said pointing at the plane that was now landing.
The people got off the plane and through the terminal. Kagome watched carefully for Akira. "Kagome!"
She turned and faced her cousin. She had short spikey blonde hair, dark eyes and wore boy clothes in fact if not for her breast she'd look like a guy.
"Its nice to see you again..." Kagome said as nice she could. She didn't dare call her Katelyn or Akira until she knows what to call her.
"Same here its been what three years now?"
"Yea."
"So what's new with you Kagome?"
"um...same as always I guess."
Akira laughed. "Is that right? No boyfriend for you yet? Well I guess we're in the same boat there."
"You were never interested in boys anyway Akira."
"There you are Akira." Kagome's mom said coming up to the two of them.
"Aunt Mei!"
Kagome's mom looked at Akira for a few moments, she knows this is her niece she has the same face as her daughter, yet she never seen her niece dressed the way she was.
"Lets go." Kagome said getting into the car. If she didn't return to the fuedal era soon she was sure Inuyasha would come get her. That's something she didn't want Akira knowing about.

They arrived back at the shrine. "Hey Kagome is that the old bone eaters well?" Akira asked.
"Yes."
"Remember when we use to play hide and seek and you hid in there and accidently fell in."
"If I remember correctly you pushed me."
"You still think I pushed you down a well?"
"Who else would?"
Grandpa came out to greet his granddaughter and stopped. "My God child what did you do to yourself?"
"Uh...hi grandpa." Akira said a little uneasily.
"That son of mine lets you get away with too much."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I'll have dinner ready shortly." Kagome's mother said.
"Hey Kagome do you mind if I use your bedroom to change."
"Um I guess, as long as you don't touch anything."
Akira walked to Kagome's room with her clothes and closed the door behind her. She then unzipped her bagging and rummaged through her clothes. As she was changing her clothes she spotted something on Kagome's desk.
She walked over and picked up the small bottle. She examined the small shards inside. "What on earth? Why would Kagome keep shards of glass."
Akira set it down as Kagome walked in. "That's mine."
"I'm aware of that! What is it? You collecting glass shards now?"
"Yea something like that."
"Your an odd one Kagome you always were. Oh I want to show you something."
"What?" Kagome asked rather curious and yet cautious at the same time last time Akira had something to show her...well lets say it didn't end well for Kagome.
Akira grabbed a small pendent from her luggage. Kagome looked at the jeweled pendent with awe. "Where did you get that from?"
"An old heirloom from my mother's side. I'm not sure if its worth anything or if the gems on it are genuine."
"Since when are you interested in jewelry?"
"Kagome I am a woman as you are, granted I'm more tomboyish then you are but I think as a woman I should have some. Oh I got something for you."
Akira pulled some clothes out of her luggage and handed it to Kagome. Kagome looked down at the leather clothing. "Umm thank you Akira but..."
"It can get you attention from all the boys believe me I tried it."
"Why would you?"
"For fun. Boys are easy to manipulate of course I have no real interest in boys as you probably do. Try it on."
"Umm I don't think so."
"Oh come on stop being a party pooper,here I'll help you."
Before Kagome could protest she was being fitted into the tight leather clothes.
When Akira was done fitting her with the clothes she turned her towards the mirror in the room. Kagome just about screamed she was showing more cleaveage then she'd prefer. "You look great you'd catch the eye of the special boy in this get up.
"Yea and every other creep as well."
"Oh honestly Kagome."

Later that night Kagome waited until Akira was asleep since she was stuck sleeping in her room with her. When Akira was asleep Kagome got up from her bed slowly got dressed grabbed the jewel shards and crept out of the house.
Akira woke up and noticed that Kagome was missing. Not worry to much about it at the moment thinking she went to the bathroom. Akira laid back down until she noticed the shards that were on Kagome's desk were gone.
Akira got up and got dressed swiftly and went in search for Kagome. She walked outside to spot Kagome heading towards the well.
"What is she up too?"
She followed her to the well. As she entered Kagome was no where to be found. "That's unusal I know I saw her come in here." She looked all around the well when she spotted a shard on the ground.
Akira picked it up and examined it carfully before looking down into the well.
She jumped down into the well why? Where else could she have possibly gone? Yet she wasn't down here. Akira walked around the inside of the well the shard in her hand began to glow. "What the hell?"
The whole area began to glow and Akira could feel herself falling. She landed on her feet as the glowing endedm she was still in the well. She let out a sigh giving up on her search for Kagome, she'd confront her in the morning she pulled herself out of the well confused. She was surronded by forest.
