Night time falls over the country side. The sky is lit up with stars, a crescent moon, and a small ball of energy flying in the sky. Calming himself, he advances forward into the hut heading for the smaller sleeping room. He peers down at the sleeping figure on the futon with hungry eyes.
'Rin,' he thinks. 'It took this Sesshomaru time to purge those paternal instincts that weren't letting my mating instincts take over to claim you in the way I wanted to. Tonight, I shall claim you and that old priestess will never again think of having you go back to your home village.' He had thought and re-thought through this decision. Part of him had been trying to get him to realize that he was making the same mistake that killed his father. But, he had reasoned that his father's mate had been a princess, a figure who probably had many suitors. Rin, on the other hand, was an orphan. No other human wanted her due to that fact. Orphans seemed to have that superstition that they were cursed. A rather stupid one to have. Orphaned demon children were taken by other members of the pack if the demon mating pair were both demon. Half demons, well, Sesshomaru's opinion on half demons was slanted due to him being related to a cretin of a half demon. No manors, the foulest of language, and his sword wielding skills were very lacking. Shaking these thoughts out of his mind, he begins removing his clothing and lays them in a neat folded pile. Another thing that halfling seemed to not understand was cleanliness. Of course, that annoying woman for a mate he took was trying to help him with that. Shaking his head again he tries to focus on his main objective that was sleeping the night away. "And Inuyasha saw him naked with Rin." Kagome adds.
"They mated then?" Kaede asks.
"Mated?! No, they decided to lay there naked and do nothing...,of course they mated you old hag! Have you smelt demons after they've mated that many times?! It's the most disgusting smell in the world!"
"I beg to differ." Sesshomaru says from behind Rin as the newly mated pair comes in.
"You ever do that again I'll...!" Inuyasha begins but is cut off.
"You could barely defeat Naraku on your own, just what makes you think you can defeat this Sesshomaru?"

"Inuyasha...," Kagome starts.
"Sesshomaru...," Rin says. The two turn to their respective mate.
"I don't think you want us to abstained from your favorite activity." Kagome says and both demons wince.
"Damn it." Inuyasha quietly says.
"That knowledge seems to come with the mark. It can be annoying at times, but as you can see, sit is nothing compared to the word 'abstained'." Sesshomaru says and the monk and slayer beginning laughing.

Author's ramblings

Well, that the fic. Just a one shot, nothing more. If I got Sesshomaru's out of character then I know someone will let me know. Although, it's hard for me to see him wanting to mate with anyone while he's fully in character. Read and review to let me know if I should or shouldn't write another one.
