Bloody Contract
A/N: Yea I know, I need to finish my other stories. I’ve been so busy as of late and have been craving murder stuff. I don’t know how well this one is going to go though. I might not even continue it. But here you go, tell me what you think and stuff.
Chapter one: Demons and Carpets.
Kagome curled up in the corner, hidden away from anyone, or anything. She quickly covered her ears as she heard the screaming of people she knew, and people she loved. Hot tears ran down her face as she knew she was powerless to do anything. Soon it would come after her, and just like everyone else, her life would end soon.
'I don't want to die.' She screamed in her head, her body shaking with absolute fear. Kagome didn’t want any of this to happen. People where dieing because of her. Because of a mistake.
‘Someone, save me.’ All she could do was cry, and cry while she clutched her ears to make the screaming stop.
“Sesshomaru...”

A week before...
“Come on Kagome, you can do it!” Eri pestered. “Your family comes from a long line of Miko’s. If someone can summon a demon, its you!”
Kagome’s eye twitched at the red painted circle in her living room. “Please tell me this paint is removable...” She almost growled.
Ayumi laughed. “Of course it is. That is if you summon on of them. Then the magic circle will disappear. Or at least that’s what this book says.”
She swore she was going to kill them later.
“Come on guys, we all know that demon’s don’t exist.” Sango rolled her eyes at Kagome’s friend’s attempt once more at this.
Eri replied to the older woman by sticking her tongue out at her. “If anyone should believe in demons, its you Sango. Don’t you come from a long line of demon slayers yourself? And what about that boy Inuyasha in school? He’s gotta have demon blood in him. I mean, whose hair is silver and eyes are golden?”
Kagome groaned. How did it come to this? Her and Sango where supposed to have a night out after all. It had been a month sense Inuyasha dumped her for her cousin Kikyou, and finally she was able to mend her broken heart. They were supposed to be celebrating at her house about this. Instead, when Kagome got home, she saw what looked to be a witch circle on her living room floor and her other two friends, Eri and Ayumi, putting away the red paint. To say she was upset was an understatement. Her mother and father left on a business trip and told her to watch the house. Not let people put red paint on the carpet!
“Come on Kagome!” Ayumi whimpered. “If you just try, it’ll work! And if it doesn’t work, then Eri and I swear we’ll either buy you new carpet. Just try for us?” She even tried to give Kagome puppy dog eyes.
“Why don’t you two try it? Why does it have to be me?” She demanded.
Eri sighed. “Because we’ve already tried. But go figure, we don’t have a lick of spiritual powers. You actually do.”
Kagome glared at him then sighed. “I hate you both. Fine, tell me what to do so I can get this over with.”
Both girls squealed with joy and jumped up and down. Sango on the other hand just shook her head.
“Alright Kagome,” Ayumi directed, putting Kagome at the north point of the circle. “Stand here and put your arms out.”
The girl groaned as she did so. “This is so stupid.” She muttered.
“Now!” Eri exclaimed. “Close your eyes and focus your energy into the center of the circle. As you do so, repeat after me.”
Now Kagome really didn’t want to do this. But she closed her eyes and began to focus on the one point, her purification energy going right to that spot, causing the circle to glow.
Sango slowly stood up, a bad feeling starting to wash over her whole body.
“Oh great demon,” Eri started.
“Oh great demon,” Kagome’s tone sounded absolutely bored.
“I summon you forth to do my bidding.”
“I summon you forth to do my bidding...”
“Come and serve my very will.”
Kagome tried not to sigh. “Come and serve my very will.”
“I summon the! Hear my demand and come forth for I command you!”
“I summon the. Hear my demand and come forth for I command you...”
All three girls watched the circle as it continued to glow brighter and brighter with every word Kagome spoke. Finally The glow began to fade till it disappeared all together.
Kagome opened on eye and shook her head as she noticed nothing had happened. “I really hope you two have enough money to pay for the carpet.”
Eri stared at the circle before grabbing the book and going though it. “But... but everything was right?! where could we have gone wrong?”
“Maybe its because demons don’t exist.” Sango pointed out one more.
Kagome stepped into the circle to try and get to Ayumi. “I’m seriously going to kill you guys if you don’t replace-” She was cut off short as instantly the area inside the circle exploded in a pillar of light, engulfing Kagome completely. A scream escaped her lips as she shielded her eyes in fear of going blind. She began to feel warmth around her body and when the light disappeared, she realized it wasn’t a natural warmth, but someone’s arm around her waist.
“I appreciate the fact you stopped that annoying screaming.” A deep voice said above her.
Kagome slowly opened her eyes, trying to adjust them once more to the darker room. Then she slowly looked up to see who in fact, was holding her.
“Oh my god...” She heard Eri whispered.
“Did we actually do it?” Ayumi whispered back.
Kagome couldn’t speak, nor could she move. Instead she was looking to what looked almost like a god. His long silver hair seemed to glimmer slightly in the light, his deep sunset eyes seemed to look deep into her soul. She noticed the clue moon on his forehead and the magenta strips on his cheek. She then took note of his ears, showing that no, he wasn’t human at all.
The girl let out a gasp and jumped out of his arm, still in shock that in deed, there was a demon standing in her living room. And from what she could tell, he wasn’t a weak one either. She looked at his clothes and noticed the white kimono with what looked like flowers on the end of the sleeves, and the yellow sash that kept his armor in place around his waist. But the one thing she noticed the most was the two swords on his hips.
“Kagome,” Sango whispered as she walked right up next to her. “This was a very, very bad idea.”
“I cant believe it!” Eri squealed. “You summoned a demon Kagome! I told you they existed!”
The demon arched an eyebrow. “You are the one who summoned me?”
Kagome gave a small nod, not able to speak. This man dripped off danger. She knew that if he wanted, he could snap her neck in half without any hesitation.
Ayumi giggled. “And sense Kagome is the one who summoned you, you have to do her bidding!”
The demon gave a smirk. That very smirk drove shivers down Kagome’s spine. And not in a good way either.
“Her bidding?” He asked, the smirk never going away. “The bidding of a miko who looks like she’s about to wet her self.” Instantly his eyes narrowed. “This Sesshomaru will not.”
“But... but you have to!” Eri interrupted. “Its in this book. The demon that’s summoned is bound to the will of the person who summoned it.”
The demon, Sesshomaru, walked up to the girl and took the book from her hands. “This Sesshomaru does the bidding for no one, but himself.” He held the book in front of Eri watching it dissolve quickly.
In horror, Kagome watched as the pieces fell, burning holes into her carpet. Instantly she could feel her fear disappearing, replaced by anger. She swore she would watch over the house! First her friends put red paint into the carpet, and now there were acid burns there too!
“How dare you!” She screamed at the demon, causing him to turn around. “I don’t care who you are, or where you came from. Frankly, I don’t want you to do my bidding, but your messing up my house!”
Sesshomaru looked down at her, surprised at first. “You dare talk to me like that miko?”
“I can talk to you however I want!” Kagome snapped at him. “And the name is Kagome, not miko. I didn’t even want to summon a demon. Figures that when I turn my back, everything goes to hell!”
Sesshomaru arched his eyebrow. She wasn’t afraid of him, but angry at him? That was a first. On top of that, she was yelling at him about some kind of carpet. Slowly a smirk crept on his face, causing Kagome to stop in mid sentence.
“Why are you smirking...?”
“You interest me Miko.” He said, pulling her up against his body. “I believe I’ll stay here for a while and see what fuels your fire. This Sesshomaru will not do your bidding, but I will stay for now. I give you my mark, so if you do need me, I will be there. He grabbed the palm of her hand and kissed it, causing the girl to turn bright red.
“I seal this contract with you, Kagome.” He whispered against her palm. “If you need me, just call.”
Some how, Kagome had a feeling things were about to get much worse once she felt the contract between them were sealed.
