The Little Ninja
It was a good day to practice some skills that the sifu had taught her. It was a long way back to the dojo, but that was no problem. The art of ninjitsu was in the experience of it not just in training. The damn bandits that killed her family were soon going to find out that messing with her was not going to be as easy as it was before. They had killed her son in front of her and attempted to rape her.
The last memory she had was of some silver haired beautiful man with strange markings on his face walking through the village with his arm bleeding. A sword at his side pulsed and her son lived again. Still he did not look back seeming like a ghost in the darkness. One word was said to her from this spirit before he walked away after touching her bruised face. It was so soft, low, and haunting. It was never forgotten even after he disappeared into the forests and she passed out cold.
"Beautiful."
It was annoying the fuck out of her that his voice was still in her mind. Her son was now a ward of the village that was learning the skills of the ninja as well. How long had it been that they were stuck there in this strange place. One moment she swore she had been dreaming of such a place filled with forests and the next minute she was there.
"I have no time for this."
The black assassin growled to herself. There was no time to lose. She had to start using these skills or they would be worthless. It was time to find the one she was supposed to kill. It was time to kill some bastard thief by the name of Miroku who stole a bunch of jewels and other valuables from the Lord of the village. He would pay with his life. No one would take what was not theirs from her beautiful Lord who with his crimson eyes and flowing black hair looked at her so kindly. His name was Naraku, but that was all she was allowed to know. Naraku had offered her a place at his side and care for her child if she did as she was told. It would be a great honor and she would die first rather then fail him. Naraku did not want her to go, but she had insisted. She remembered the last words he stated to her.
"You will not go. I cannot have you harmed. I have developed feelings for you Lea. You will be my Princess and I do not wish for your death. Stay with me."
She had looked at him with pleading eyes.
"My Lord you are ill. You cannot remove this problem, but I can. I am the best in my class. I will not fail you. I have nothing to offer you except this triumph as I have no dowry, no family, and you are too kind to accept one as low as I am to even come before you. Are there no others who would be seen as more suitable for you my Lord? I am nothing other then your humble servant."
Naraku moved toward Lea's face. Only one other woman captured his heart so completely, but she was dead. Lea was so very beautiful, a treasure among women he wished to covet.
"You are much more to me then a servant my beautiful Lady. I will have you someday I promise you."
Naraku gently kissed Lea on the lips and she shuddered. There was a deep evil in this creature, but none the less he had been kind to her and her family. She owed him this and her life.
"Lord Naraku, I am not worth such flattery. Still I am your servant and I will do this for you. You will not stop me and when I return with this Miroku's head then I might be worthy of your compliments."
With that she ran from his sight and Naraku's guards were unable to stop her as she rushed into the forest praying they would not catch her before she had the chance to get this lecherous bastard monk that had tricked Lord Naraku. The descriptions she had heard about this monk should make him easy to find. He hung out with demons and mikos. That seemed weird to Lea, but this was a strange place full of many unusual things. Not noticing the large bee like insects following her every move Lea moved with stealth and speed through the forests as the demon Lord Naraku watched her every move.
"My Lea you will be safe from these enemies of mine even if you do not wish me to interfere. I should bring you back home, but I am curious if you can indeed kill the monk for me. I shall observe."
Naraku whispered and ordered Kanna to bring her mirror so he could watch Lea to make sure no harm came to her. Lea's son was dead. The blade of Sesshoumaru had not resurrected the boy since his body was too damaged, but Naraku created a vision of his cold empty world to entice the beautiful young woman to remain at his castle. The village and the people she thought she knew so well were only a dream. Kohaku had been her sifu and he had disguised the boy as an older man to teach Lea the arts of the demon slayers. This was also to entice the young woman Sango to come to him since part of his twisted soul still wanted the beautiful demon slayer Sango as his concubine.
There was just something about a strong woman that turned him on and the fact Lea was much more beautiful then Kikyo also made him play this game with her hoping she would never realize his true nature. Lea's silver and golden hair he ran his fingers through in the night haunted him. Naraku had not ever really loved anyone and yet this creature was one that made him want to love. He should have killed her, but could not bring himself to do so. The tiny cat demon woman thought she was a mere human after her village had been slaughtered by his bandits.
"Naraku you are becoming distracted."
Drawled Bankotsu, as he leaned against the wall looking at Naraku like the evil hanyou was an idiot. He was brought back to life with his magnificent halberd with the jewel of four souls once again after Kohaku was forced to go get the young human's ashes. None of his colleagues were found, but Bankotsu was no longer concerned about any of them except for Jakotsu. Jakotsu's body and ashes had been buried by tons of rock that could not be lifted. He was part of the mountain where he died. Bankotsu understood that and let it go for now.
"Lea is important Bankotsu. Even you are enthralled by her. Still she is mine so do not forget your place. I can still kill you and send you back to hell my beautiful young human pet. I keep you around to look at since this entertains me. If I lose interest it could be come dangerous for you."
Bankotsu yawned. He was sick of these threats.
"Naraku you can kill me if you like. I really don't care. You know I prefer death over you bringing me back so do kill me if you are that bored. I admit she is worthy of my male attentions and is a skilled fighter. I helped to make sure of that so I do not want her death any more then you do, but other then that I have no interest in Lea. You will have to deal with Lord Sesshoumaru in that area. His voice still haunts her mind I know this, but you seem to forget that fact. He is the only one who can kill you as well as remove this illusion you have created. You know I love Lea, but I am dead. None of us you bring back have any real life in us.'
"Naraku I don't know why you bring us back. Kanna hates you, Kagura hates you, and I know I hate you. Are you really that lonely for company? Lea will still hate you after this is done so if you decide to fail or you do not kill me then I want her. At least once before you destroy me and this object of your affection."
Naraku snarled, but Bankotsu was gone before he could react. Kagura was not going to live long. She was a good distraction and would keep Lord Sesshoumaru from messing up his plans. Sesshoumaru always seemed to be in the way just like that brother of his Inuyasha. Lea would kill the monk though. That letch could not resist her beauty. Still it was not the monk that was the problem. This meant a few demon puppets were in order. Naraku had to keep Inuyasha and his annoying group of friends busy. Then Lea could do the deed and come back safely. Bankotsu was predictable. He and Kohaku would follow his Lea. They would insure her safety. Even his wind witch Kagura seemed to like the little ninja.
Going down into the basement of his castle Naraku waited for the change as he had lost so many demons who made up his body from being attacked by Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru. Calling on others to rebuild his strength the demons came. This would be his weakest night and with a smirk he knew that this would also be Inuyasha's human night too. That would help and if he knew his little Lea well enough she would not hesitate to kill any who got in her way when it came to killing that pesky monk that had been just as much a hole in his side as the rest of his enemies. At least that one would be gone so he could rid himself of these pesky insects from hell. They taunted him constantly when he failed another battle and he was tired of hearing their chorus of laughter at his expense. Watching Kanna's mirror as she followed her master down to the empty dark basement he watched the show with his only fear being that Lea might find out the truth about him.
