a ghostly love

A/N * This is my first publicly posted fan fiction. please read and respond. warning this is intended to be a very long or ongoing fan fic so if your looking for a story that's 3-4 chapters and its over this fan fic isn't for you.
the title for this fan fic was inspired by another fan fic on this site but i assure you that they are nothing alike.

chapeter 1 - fate.?
Kagome looked up as the door to her class room opened revealing a boy standing there. He was dresses in a black t-shirt with a grey skull and cross bones lo go on it, baggy black jeans, and a chain on one side. he looked around the room examining its contents before he saw a girl sitting toward the pack staring at him. she met his glance and looked down returning to her work, blushing.He hesitated a moment before walking across the room to Mrs. Ayame's desk. He stoped before her and pulled a folded piece of paper from his messenger bag.

"Mrs. Ayame?."

"Yes."

"OK just making sure I had the right room."

"Don't worry, you do dear." she said taking the paper from him. Unfolding it and reading it. She got up and walked to the front of the room, turning she signaled him to fallow. He did as he was instructed following his teacher to the front of the room and standing before his classmates.

"May I have your attention class?"

The class stopped working and turned to face Mrs Ayame.
"Class this is Inuyasha, he's new here and will be with us for the rest of the year."

Mrs. Ayame turned to look at her new student, "So Inuyasha where would you like to sit dear ?

Inuyasha looked out upon his new classmates examining the seating arrangement and carefully making note of any open seats and their locations.Then he spotted one seat or rater the girl in the agaesent seat. she was staring at him blushing.Inuyasha felt a rosy blush come across his face.Kagome realized that he had caught her and she looked down returning her intense gaze to her paper, and embarrassingly hiding her face behind her bangs.Inuyasha turned back to Mrs. Ayame.
"If you don't mind ma'am I think I'd like to sit there." Inuyasha turned towards the class and pointed at the open seat next to Kagome."
"Very nice choice, Inuyasha that's Kagome she's and excellent student and I'm sure she'll be more than happy to help you with anything you need ."

Inuyasha walked over and sat down in his chosen seat; he placed his messenger bag on the floor next ot him.
Kagome looked over at the boy next to her, she was still blushing from before.

"Hello my names Inuyasha" he said while pushing his long black hair out of his eyes.then turning side ways in his chair to face Kagome.

"I'm Kagome, it's nice to meet you Inuyasha "

Inuyasha stared back at her amazed by her beauty. I've never seen any one so beautiful in my entire life. oh Inuyasha what are you thinking you know that she would never go for a guy like you especially if she knew your secret.

"Is something wrong Inuyasha ? You seem a little out of it."

"Oh it's nothing I was just thinking, that's all."

"What were you thinking about ?"

"Nothing important, don't worry about it OK, Kagome."

Kagome nodded her head in agreement.

"So what are we doing ?" inuyasha asked trying to escape from the topic at hand.

"We're writing poems, they have to be at least 12 lines long and express some emotion. would you like to read what i have so far ?"
"Ummm sure"

Kagome handed him the paper from her desk.Inuyasha took the paper and began to read. his amber eyes hopped from word to word absorbing and internalizing each as they came.

Inuyasha lowered the paper to his lap and looked back upon Kagome.
"Kagome that poem, It's beautiful." He handed the paper back to Kagome, as a slight smile swept across his face. As the paper exchanged from one hand to another Inuyasha grassed his hand over hers, pausing for a moment then retracting it.
Kagome looked up at the boy across from her. She felt a blush sweep across her face as she looked in to his amber eyes. "Inuya. . ."
"Yes?"
"Nothing.Thank you, I'm glad you like my poem."
the bell rang interrupting them. Kagome gathered her things and rushed to the door. Just before walking through the doorway she turned back and looked over her shoulder, over her shoulder to Inuyasha. Inuyasha stopped in his tracks and returned her gaze.Kagome turned around and continued out the door. Inuyasha stood frozen in his place.
