Authors note: Ok, this is a crossy with YYH and IY. Kagome gets to fall in love with someone, yayyyyyy, but who? Review soon or I just might choose for myself. Yuske is sooooo out of the question by the way. By the way this is my first fic. so please be gentle.

Kagome stood there looking at my new school and sighed. 'Isn't this ironic, me going to a new school. I guess it's only right, I had to much to possibly catch up on im my old one. I miss the others.' Kagome thought with a sigh.
*Flashback*
"Oh my god we did it! WE DID IT!" Kagome screamed. That broke everyone out of there stuper. They all started to rejoice. They had finally defeated Naraku. They had all the jewel shards now, and Miroku no longer had to worry about being engulfed by his own hand. Kagome watched as Sango squeled when Miroku picked her up and swung her around. 'About time.' Kagome thought smileing. Then she watched Shippo playfully wrestle with Kilala.
Kagome looked over at Inuyasha and felt a shock of pain rip through her heart. He was kneeling next to Kikyou's remains. 'I guess this is what it feels like to be heartbroken. As though your heart had shattered into small, sharp red pieces that riped into your soul on their desent, only to lie on the floor of a dark cavern, your tattered soul, waveing in an intangible breeze like a shredded curtain, waveing a mournfull sulute to all that you knew.' Kagome thought, then laughed at the almost to accurate picture that formed in her head.
Suddenly the jewel began to glow and a voice wispered in her mind. 'Make your wish my child, and destroy this last piece of evil.' Kagome thought for a miniute and smiled. 'I wish that my friends deepest disires will come true.' She wispered back. Suddenly the clearing glowed a bright white. The voice returned. 'So it will be done child, and for your selfless wish, you to shall be granted your greatest desire.' Then it faded as the light died. Kagome blinked her eyes and looked around, then smiled. 'Be careful what you wish for.' Kagome thought to herself. Beside Sango stood Kohaku, alive and well....alive. Sango was hugging him fiercly. Miroku stood behind Sango smileing. Kagome gave a perplexed frown until Sango quicky turned and kissed Miroku right on the lips. Miroku's arms came around her and hugged her tight. 'I see, Miroku wished Sango to know just how much he really loved her, smart man.' Kagome thought. Then she looked over to Inuyasha and flinched. Kikyou stood next to him, alive and whole, and in his arms. They were kissing passionatly.
Kagome averted her eyes and looked at Kilala, then gasped, where Kilala had once stood was now a little girl. Kilala smiled at Kagome. "Thank you, my greatest wish was to be able to tranform into a humanoid form at will, and you have given me that." Kilala said and bowed, then ran over to Sango,Miroku, and Kohaku. Then Kagome turned to look for Shippou, and almost fainted. A human looking Shippou stood smileing at her. "Shippou! What happened?" Kagome gasped. Shippou grinned. "I wished that you could be my mommy and I could stay with you forever. So I was granted the wish of becomeing human at will." Shippou laughed and threw himself at Kagome. Kagome laughed to and and hugged him tightly. Then she heard Sango cried out. "Kagome! Whats wrong with you? What happening." She shouted. Kagome's eye's furrowed and she looked down at herself and Shippo. They were flickering in and out. She looked up with wide eyes and saw Inuyasha with Kikyou.
"She's going home, and she looks like she's taking Shippou with her. She's finished her mission here, and there's nothing left for her to stay for." Kikyou said softly. Kagome looked at her with hatred in her eyes. Kikyou flinched. "I'm sorry Kagome, I know how it feels to lose the man you love to another, and for that I am sorry. I am also for the way I treated you, I was jeaulous and out of my mind." Kikyou whispered in a strained voice. Kagome's face sofened. "I know Kikyou, and I accept your apology. Take good care of him." She whispered back not looking at Inuyasha. "Be happy, all of you. Maybe some of us will meet agian.....someday." Kagome said softly, and with that she and Shippou were gone. It happened so fast that Kagome missed the look of pain that crossed Inuyasha's features. He still loved Kagome, just not as a boyfreind or lover, just as a brother. He would miss her more than she would ever know.
The next thing Kagome knew, she was back home, standing on the steps of her family shrine with Shippou in her arms. Her family had rushed out to meet her. Kagome explained everything to them and how Shippou was now her son. She moped about for months after that, when she wasn't playing with Shippou or training herself to become a better fighter. That's when her mother had made the decision to send her away, so she could begin a new life. She would be liveing with her cousin in the country, and go to school with him. Shippou of course was going with her.
*end flashback*
"Mommy, come on, we still have to go to the grocery store!" Shippou whined, tugging on the edge of Kagomes shorts. She was weareing a short pair of blue jean shorts, light blue flipflops, and a baby blue speggti strapped top. She laughed. "Alright, alright, lets go." Kagome said and they started walking. Shippou was in his human form and was the spitting image of Kagome. He had short black shaggy hair (like her brothers) ice blue eyes, and was up to her thighs. He looked like he was about 5 or 6. He was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a green shirt with kermit the frog on it.
When Kagome had moved in with her aunt, she had been told that her cousin was staying with a friend for a few weeks so she wouldn't have to bother with him before she was settled in. That was a relief but she kind of missed Yuske. Boy was he going to be mad when he found out that his mother had moved his things into the guest room so kagome and Shippou could have the larger room. Smiling at the thought they entered the supermarket and set to shopping.
