The Third Piece
Disclaimer: if i owned inuyasha do you really think i'd share him?
Ok, this is my first fanfic so tell me what you think. And if there's any
complaints on grammer, it's my sister's fault! She's the editor but we both
thought of the story.
Prolog: Into the Moonlight
The long, raven haired priestess prowled through the dark wood. Her prey was
not far ahead. She has been hunting for three days the dog-demon who was
responsible for the very deep, very long, injury in her right leg. Originaly,
she was on her way to a distant village, where she would soon be dubbed
protector of the Shikon-no-Tamma, which was being held there. Along the way,
however, this demon attacked her. It didn't take Kikyo long to deduce that
the youki was probably after the Sacred Jewel and didn't want her to get to
it first. Now she stopped. Just ahead was the trickling sound of water
streaming out of a spring on the other side of the bushes. Kikyo slowly and
silently pushed a corner of the shrubs aside. As she notched her arrow she
saw the figure in the water with long, beautiful, silver hair turn, shining
into the moonlight. With ever-growing stealth, she drew the bow tight then
released it with the slightest "twang". As usual, she didn't miss.
So I know it's short but I've got the next chapter almost ready to go.
