‘ Shoshin o wasurubekara zaru koto’

Darkness cried out, hauntingly on the night of the new moon. The winds howled answering its silent call. During a time when the loyalty for the gods began to falter, and the samurai’s allegiance was broken…the story of our heroes begins….
Chapter one. “satsujen no ken”
……………………
Deep within the dark caverns of a cave, a light whispery voice echoed its lonely song…
“In the moonlight I felt your heart
Quiver like a bowstrings pulse”
The voice slowly became stronger…clearer…
“In the moons mere light, you looked at me
Nobody knows your heart
When the sun has gone, I see you
Beautiful and haunting but cold
Like the blade of a knife
So sharp, so sweet”
Weaving a trap for the world, the voice sang out, its haunting melody drifting about….
“All of your sorrow, grief and pain
Locked away in the forest of the night
Your secret heart belongs to the world
Of the things that sigh in the dark
Or the things that cry in the dark”
Suddenly her voice was cut off, as a hamaya flew into the cave, glowing an unearthly pale blue. The whispering was heard again, and just as suddenly as the arrow, had flow in, it flew back out only this time it glowed a blood red.
A dark giggle echoed, and a sickingly sweet voice could be heard… “irrashai, miko-no-kata…” threw the misty fog a woman stepped forth, blond and blue hair swinging from its spot on top of her head, as cold blue eyes stared into the cave. A kysari swung to and fro as she walked. “myoubi… BUKKOROSHITE-YARU ZO!!!” she screamed swinging the kysari around menacingly. The giggle turned into a full blow out laugh. “ aww, And not even a hello for my poor lonely soul. Such a cruel lady you are…” a young girl walked out of the cave, a smile adorning her beautiful face, as cunning gold and green speckled eyes stared out from porclen skin.
The other girl let lose a faint blue orb of light around her body. Myoubi grinned, flipping long silver colored hair out of her face, with one graceful sweep.
“do you really think, that will keep me out? Sasuga ni…” she flicked her wrist, and the shield vanished, only to be replaced with a deathly cold draft of wind. The miko gasped, and dropped the kysari… crystal blue eyes wide. “b-b-but how? I spent years working on that shield!” myoubi shrugged calmly, and smiled, only to vanish seconds later into a cloud of cold mist. She reappeared behind the girl, breathing onto her neck lightly. “why not join me? I could make you the richest hime in the world, with me by your side, you could rule the world like you have always wanted….”
“NEVER!” ripping away from myoubi she screamed, grabbing an arrow from the ground she plunged forward, only to hit solid air. “DAMNIT!” she growled, thumping to the floor in defeat.
“…. Houshi, the miko has traveled beyond the realm of dreams, the kitsune desolved her shields….she needs time to build them up again….and that is why I have called the likes of you here…” the prophetess sighed and began to rub her temples, as the young monk started to cuss. “Gwen…I would greatly appreciate it if you took control, over grave at the moment.” The monk’s long black hair slowly shortened and turned a beautiful shade of red, as her eyes changed from their original ruby tinge to a lighter emerald green. “eh….sorry, katsume-no-kata… I was not prepared when grave decided to take over our body.” Katsume shook her head, letting raven colored hair fly its natural blood red dipped ends swept her face.
“Dear child, you are never prepared….and that’s why I WISH I didn’t have to send you into safire’s mind.” She glared at Gwen with bright glowing violet eyes.
Gwen blushed and looked away from katsume’s frowning face, whispering. “gomen sifu….” Katsume sighed and waved her arm dismissively. “ get the ofuda, gwen.” Gwen glanced up at the face of her instructor, searching for the disgust she knew would be there, only to see a slight kind smile. She smiled back.
“Ok, shes sleeping so this should be easy, for you-although grave is the advanced one in this area, you are her twin sister and you two share a soul, so you SHOULD be able to access her memory’s. Don’t worry I have done it before so it IS possible.” Gwen blinked and glanced up into her sensei’s eyes. “ You have had another soul in your body?” katsume smiled lightly, her eyes getting misty with thought. “Yes it was ira- some one very important to me, that I unfortunately had to use to save our world…and in doing so I destroyed that person….” Gwen blinked and cocked her head to the side, watching katsume wipe a small tear from her eye… “Alright, get in place and meditate, and don’t worry I’ve trained many people, and they have all gotten threw this type of test without losing their soul…. Of course…there was that one time…but that girl was a whore who couldn’t tell a mind from a dick….” Gwen swallowed thickly when katsume began to mumble about “people who never listened….”
“eh…..that’s nice.” Katsume shook her head and smiled widely at gwen. “Yes yes It was…I really disliked that student…truly I was hoping she would die when I sent her on that mission…well anyways are you ready?”
“Erm…yes I think so…”
Chapter 2 preview-
Chrno stared wide-eyed at the woman in front of him. “Who the hell are you?”
A smirk played onto her porcelain face… “…Death….” And then she pulled back the hood………
“demons unleashed”
well I hope this first chapter was good and ^__^ I hope no one flames me just yet…….-___-0
anyways never eat at a Yatai stand and ano…..please DON’T KILL ME!!! **runs away**
also the inu yasha chatcers WILL come in so dont worry i dotn plan on making this a characters-just-pop-up fic.
