He's Way Better

Sitting her bag down gently Kagome silently tiptoed behind a tree and listened in.


"Inuyasha, 'sighed Kikyou. Then Inuyasha's lips captured Kikyou's and they started to kiss passionately with Inuyasha's hands roaming over her backside squeezing her ass.


Kagome felt heartbroken though something inside of her wasn't surprised. She stepped from behind the tree and shouted, "You mother fucking bastard."


Inuyasha and Kikyou sprung apart and spun around to face a furious Kagome. Kikyou's eyes went from surprised, to annoyance to finally to smugness. Inuyasha's features were a mix of shock and guilt.

Kagome fuming stomped over to them slapping Kikyou she said, "You dirty slut," Then turning she slapped Inuyasha hard across the face. The sound echoing throughout the forest. "You are a disgusting cheating bastard," she said. By then Inuyasha had snapped out of his shock he made a move to grab Kagome but stopped cold when she said," If you touch me I swear I'll put right back where we met, arrowed to the God Tree," in a low cold voice. Her body had a light dark pink aura giving testament to the fact that she would hurt without remorse.


Her eyes were ice chips.


She picked up her stuff and with a disgusted look she stalked towards the village.

Inuyasha watched with a defeated expression mingled with sorrow. Kikyou was the complete opposite. While pissed she was slapped she knew that a few more times of Kagome seeing this would make her forget all of her feelings for Inuyasha.


Kagome's POV:

Oh I don't believe him he's such a jerk thought Kagome to herself. The nerve oohh I could him so bad. Fuming to herself she didn't notice a whirlwind of dust coming straight at her. When she looked up and noticed it out jumped Kogua.


"Kouga, 'She breathed in surprise. "Hey Kagome have decided to be my woman?" Kagome started blushing major. She could never figure out why she was tongue-tied around him. Maybe it was because it was of his vibrant blue eyes or his self-assurance, whatever it was he was alluring.


"Uh Uh, "stuttered Kagome. "No, Kouga I'm not ready to become your woman, but I would like to stay with you for couple of days if that's OK with you," said Kagome. Kouga looked so happy that Kagome was coming with him to his caves. "That's perfectly fine with me Kagome," said Kouga. "But what about dog-turd?" "I don't care what Inuyasha says or does. He doesn't own me or rule over me," Kagome said vehemently. Kouga taken back by her outburst but was secretly glad for whatever the idiot had done. "Ready to go?" asked Kogua. Kagome nodded. Then Kogua picked her up bridal style and started running.


After sometime they had nearly reached the caves it was sunset. Kogua put Kagome down and she stared at the beautiful sunset. The rays of yellow, red and purple reflected in her eyes leaving Kouga in awe.


Wrapping his arms around her he too stared at the sunset. "It's beautiful isn't it?" asked Kagome. "Hhmm," nuzzling her neck, "not as beautiful as you." Kagome blushed and smiled. "Come on lets get to the caves before it gets dark. Then he picked her up and started running again.
