Perhaps, if you took the time to reread what you have written you can correct most of your mistakes. Or perhaps have someone else proof read it for you. After you correct your basic spelling/grammar mistakes perhaps you will get a more positive feedback.

Ok. You already know that we need to work on the grammar and all of that... And, that we plan to flesh out this story.
Now, on to the content, hoe! When we work on this, we can flesh it out and draw out the action a bit to improve the draw on the reader attention. You have a good idea for a starter since you are new to the series (and you can still borrow our DVD collection!)
