Well, I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of 1st person, but I do like it. I think if I get past that initial distaste of mine (and that's my problem, not yours), I could really enjoy this story. It is very well written and there are no plot holes or missing gaps. You also leave questions unanswered to keep the interest of the reader. Nice touch! Over all, keep writing this story! I would like to see what happens next. :D
