That was a great chapter! I loved the way everyone gathered to sort things out. One thing I have enjoyed all the way through this story is how realistic the friendships are. Their gatherings and the way they hang out together is just like family reunions I've been to. I liked Kikyo's explanation to Kagome about the way Kagome kind of brought her out of herself -- that was a nice touch. The football game was fun! Again -- that could have been me and my friends or cousins playing (a few years ago! LOL!). Loved the way the girls planned to take advantage of being GIRLS, and the fact that Sess just picked her up and ran for the TD anyway -- seems like something he would do. I have SO enjoyed the way you have written him and Inuyasha in this. I have a soft spot for both brothers, so I'm sure you know what I'm going to wish for! I'd love to see Kagome ask Inuyasha about Sess being alone, and for him to tell her that he has come to realize Sess is in love with her, too. Then to ask her how she'd feel about taking a second mate. For me, the ultimate ending would have them asking Sess to join them, and him accepting. BUT, if you don't feel inclined to go that way, I'm sure you'll come up with something equally good. (Personally, if he doesn't end up with Kag, too, I'd rather not see him paired up with anyone, but that would be a shame. I think you set a great stage and a nice build to Inu accepting him into their relationship because it's been so obvious that he loves her and has tried to protect her, too. So, I think it could work -- I don't see anyone in the group having a problem with it -- I think they'd all accept it and be happy for them.) This has been a great story, and I've really enjoyed the way you incorporated so many of the characters into it. Kudos, my friend!

Hmmm. After I posted my review, I read some of the others, and I see you have a couple of fans who really don't like the idea of Sess together with Kag and Inu. I think that's a darn shame,-- especially since I felt you could have been leading up to it through a large part of the story, -- but I don't want you to feel torn over what to do just because of MY preferences. You write the ending the way YOU want it. Like I said, I've been following this story all along and loving it -- I trust you to come up with a great ending. You write it, I'll read it. I'm loving the friendships and sense of family among the characters, and you just can't go wrong with that. (Besides, maybe when I finish up my Hiei/Kag stories over on MM and Fichaven, I can try my hand at an Inu/Kag/Sess one to satisfy my own twisted wishes. Heh heh!) Have fun with it!

That was certainly an unexpected twist! But it pretty much made Kikyou the heroine of the story. Which almost makes it sad that she didn't get Inuyasha since she was torn away from him by Naraku. (And I can't believe I'm saying something like that because I HATE the idea of Inu/Kik.) But, she was the one who suffered and overcame the horror of what was done to her and then defeated him. I DO like the idea of her getting together with Onigumo. And I love the idea of Kouga and Kagura. (I really liked Kouga in this story!) But, I guess I was just really hoping Kagome would be the one to overpower Naraku by herself. Well, now she's home -- safe and sound. I can't wait to see how you wrap this story up!

OK. Fill me in why did Kagome leave when Sesshomaru did. I would of thought that Sesshomaru would of staked the place out before he left you know smell for Naraku and that kind of stuff. When and how did everyone get knocked out and when did they get put into a van. WHat will happen that Naraku has the Shikon no Tama/Sacred Jewel. What does Naraku want from Kagome and what did they do to Kikyo all those years ago..

Interesting turn of events. Though since she got herself and all the others kidnapped, she doesn't really seem all that powerful. She, Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru and Miroku were ALL taken out by Musou and Naraku? Those two must be REALLY strong. Side note -- Kouga needs somebody -- maybe he and Kagura can get together after Naraku is kaput. Yep, now Kagome released the jewel -- I thought that was what he was after. What will happen next? Naraku and Musou are planning to keep her for a while now, ne? Can't wait for more!
