Wow. This... has the potential to be really good, but the idea itself will have you treading a very thin line - in other words, getting the point through is going to be quite a challenge without confusing anyone (that is to say if you give this story an intricate plot). Personally, I love the idea, although at first I have to admit I was a bit sketchy about it (I still am somewhat) but I really do like this beginning. I'm a tad bit concerned though, (which really means I'm actually a little confused) as to *how* exactly you are going to discern hanyou Sesshomaru from youkai Sesshomaru (and the same for the Inuyasha's). I mean, when they all meet are you going to say "Youkai Inuyasha glared at Hanyou Inuyasha" or are you going to do something entirely different? I'm a little concerned about this (even though it may seem like just a small complication) because saying Youkai Sesshomaru or Hanyou Inuyasha can get awfully repetitive - especially when doing dialogue or description. Most alternate (but existing at the same place and time) realities go through this issue, but its a bit easier in those cases to just say Future (whoever) and Past (whoever), even though that can get repetitive as well. Oh, and I'm wondering - does Youkai Inuyasha still look like Hanyou Inuyasha (but without the ears) or does he have the maroon stripes that their father has? And does Hanyou Sesshomaru look like Youkai Sesshomaru, but just without the stripes and with ears (and with the crescent moon)? IMO, the moon is unique to Sesshomaru (like a birthmark), so I figured whether he's Hanyou or Youkai, he would probably have it. You'll probably get to that in the next chapter (do I seem too anxious? Sorry) Ack, I DO NOT mean to discourage you, and I'm probably thinking way too ahead for my own good, but I was just wondering...

Anyway, I do love the idea and would like to see where you go with this. I very rarely review, (because I write too damn much and always analyze both what I see and what I have yet to see) but this interested me so much I had to say something -.- I will be looking forward to your next chapter.
