Whoa... I was definitely not expecting the sudden character deaths. It could have been a little longer though, like, adding in where after they don't come back, Kagome, Sango, and Shippou go looking for them and find their bodies resting against a rock in the water or something.

I loved it. So sad. I wish you'd do a follow up chapter on how Kagome, Sango, and Shippo react. That'd be cool. Well either way, great job.
