just wanted to thank everyone for their reviews...be it flames or compliments, i really appreciate you all feeling strong enough about the fic to have some input.
A few responses:
-sorry kawool, this is and will remain a one shot because i wrote it on a whim and had not planned it as a multi-chapter fic. but no worries, expect more rin/sess fics from me. i just love that pairing. and deepfelt thanks for your support. et, votre anglais est tres bien. j'espere que ma francais est bien comme votre anglais...mais, non =o(

just a few reasons why i love rin/sess...and maybe you sd tod too if you don't already:
i think they're the most romantic couple on IY. i'm not really offended if people don't like them. i've been called a pervert on a posting forum for my views, but i only think of them romantically when rin becomes an adult. for some, that's not enough because they see him as a father figure to her. i see it differently. besides protecting her, he doesn't really do anything fatherly. i think he protects her because he was really touched that she doesn't fear him and is willing to take care of him...which is something i try to exploit in my other fic. i think their relationship is really cute because she is able to make him show concern--something that he doesn't show for anyone previously. and i think it's romantic to LEARN to fall in love with a human. and there's something romantic about falling in love w/ someone you've known as a child--it's like he's always been the only one for you. *sigh* people should give rin/sess fics a try...look at my recommened reading list...i would put more up, but ten's the max.

k, once again, i really appreciate the compliments...and i'lntinntinue to write. no amount of flames will ever me dme down

RINxSESS 4-ever...i agree w/ chicky...there's no one else for sesshoumaru-sama besides his sweet rin.

Actually Kagura is a detachment, ie a part of Naraku there by making her the same age as Naraku, since she is nothing more than a piece of him that's been detached and now lives as a separate entitiy. So yes she would be best pic for Sess since she's nearly a hundred if not so.

Hi, VPM, I really love both stories you have posted. I can't wait to read more of your work. I love Sess/Rin, Sess/Kagome, Sess/anyone, except a guy, that is, keep that yaoi crap away from me! I loved this fic, because 1 it is very angsty, and I do so love a good angst fic, where you feel the muscles around your heart tighten up as you are reading, you know that you are a good author especially with such a short fic, when you can elicit this kind of emotion in your reader. And I do really enjoy your work. so keep up the good work!

Heh on the subject of apprioatnessf yof you think about it Sess/Kagura is even less appropriate than Sess/Rin. After all Kagura at most is a few months old=P

This is to Meiko. If you don't like don't phuckin read.The pairing was mentioned before hand. And you can't see the romance between a child and a hundred year old demon, how Phucking hypocritical, Incase you haven't noticed Kagome at fifteen is just as much a child in comparison to Sess or InuYasha if you want to be technical about it. Further more if Hse was thirty she would never be as old as them I don't give a dang how your write it , so get off of it already I get so phuckin tired of you people insisting that she is a child . Yea , we know that already press the phuck on but I'm sure when she wrote it she wasnt writing as if Rin was a seven year old,but rather a adult just like i'm sure Kag Sess fans aren't writing as if she's still a fifteen year old. Further more if you ever took the time to read the phuckin manga Sess would be more like a brother to Rin since he's suppose to be only seventeen.
