A.N- Hi again!!! Thanks for your reviews on my other story, I appreciate them. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to continue that story. I have the biggest writers block you can imagine. I can’t think of anything original to follow it, so I’ll just write an entirely different one. Hope you enjoy it!

The Spell (a.n.-can any one help me think of a better title than this? I’m desperate!!!!! ^_^* )
It was just another normal day. Inuyasha and the gang were still searching for jewel shards.
“Inuyasha can we pleeeease rest for a while? My legs are killing me!!” Kagome whined.
“Feh! Why are humans so weak?!” Inuyasha grumbled. He put Kagome’s bike under a tree and leaped into the branches to keep watch. Sango sat near a rock and Shippo ran off to play with Kirara.
“Inuyasha I wanna take a bath, is there a river nearby?”
“You just took one last week!!! What’s the rush?” he screamed.
“Just answer me!!!” Kagome half yelled. Inuyasha grumbled something inaudible and pointed into a dense forest near by.
“Hurry back.”
“Yea yea…And keep Miroku away!”
“Don’t worry Kagome I’ve got him” Kagome turned to see Miroku unconscious next to Sango by the rock. /How did she knock him out so fast? And I didn’t even hear it! / Kagome gathered her supplies and went towards the stream (river, whatever…).
In an old hut nearby…
“Are you sure this will work?”
“Of course my child, it always works. This spell is guaranteed to grant ye complete control over whom ever ye wish.”
“And how long wil las last for?”
“If ye use it on this night it shall last till’ the next new moon.”
“I thank you.”
Kikyo left the old witch’s hut and headed towards Inuyasha’s camp.
“Ahhh, there’s nothing like a cool refreshing bath.” Kagome mused to herself as her body sunk into to the slightly cool water. She knew she couldn’t stay for long since Inuyasha would get irritated. She began to clean herself and then swam around for a while. /He can wait a little longer…/ What Kagome didn’t realize is that she was being watched…

Back at the camp…
Inuyasha suddenly jolted up from his short nap and sniffed the air.
“Kikyo…”
“Inuyasha is something wrong?” Miroku had finally regained consciousness. Shippo automatically sought refuge with the now transformed Kirara. Sango, sensing the change in her companions’ behavior readied her weapon. All was quiet. Suddenly, Kikyo emerged from the bushes. Inuyasha drew Tetsugaiga, although he never planned to use it.
“Kikyo what do you want!” he still had feelings for her even though he would never let Kagome know that.
“I came for you.” Her voice was cold and void. “You have always belonged to me, Inuyasha. I’ve come to claim what it rightfully mine.”
“Leave Inuyasha alone you witch!!” Shippo failed at trying to intimidate the dead miko. Kikyo said nothing, but drew her bow and enchanted arrows, now soaked in the serum that the witch traded to her for two jewel shards. She aimed the first at Inuyasha.
“Inuyasha get out of the way!!” Sango cried. He didn’t seem to hear her though as he was transfixed on his former lover in front of him. The arrow pierced Inuyasha’s heart, but instead of killing him or sealing him in a spell like before, it took over him. His blood flowed with a new force. All the emotions he ever felt were magnified, and then reversed towards one person…Kikyo. Suddenly, his whole being seemed to revolve around her. He only wanted to please her. He could never imagine opposing her in anyway. Inuyasha was in her control. His eyes held a glazed, far-off look.
“Bow before me Inuyasha” Much to the surprise of his friends, Inuyasha knelt before his new mistress.(A.N.:-Mistress meaning the sex opposite to master. Remember, he’s not with Kagome.)
/Controlling the others should be a simple task. Then I will ble tle to get my revenge…/
Kagome finally decided that she had enough water for one day. She toweled off and dressed quickly. She knew the screaming Inuyasha would give her for ‘Wasting time when we could be finding the jewel shards’. /Whatever. That’s all he ever talks about. Talk about your unhealthy obsession. / She made her way back to the camp to find it deserted.
“Hellooo!! Doesn’t anyone tell me anything! Whose bright idea was it to move out already?” But all their things were still there. /That means they’re not far off/
Kagome searched the area surrounding the campsite. She was about to give up when she heard a cold voice behind her.
“Looking for something, wench?
“Inuyasha?” She turned to see all of her companions glaring at her with pure hatred and with them was none other than Kikyo.
“What’s going on here and why is she with you?”
“We want Kikyo to be with us now Kagome. We don’t need you” Sango’s usually kind and caring voice was now null of any emotions. They looked distant and hollow, just like Kikyo, and had an evil glint of red in their eyes. They seemed hungry for only one thing. Blood. Her blood.
“What do you mean? And why are you suddenly teaming up with her! Inuyasha, what’s going on? Don’t you care about me?”
“I never cared for you bitch. I’ve always loved Kikyo, not you. I was only using you to help me find the jewel shards. You’re worthless to me. I could never stand you. And now that I don’t need you anymore, I can finally kill you.” Kagome fought the tears that threatened to spill.
“W-what did you do to them you witch!” she screamed.
“No one talks to our Kikyo like that!! You will pay with your life!!” Kagome has never heard Shippo talk to anyone like that.
“Sango, Miroku…Don’t you care anymore?”
“The only thing we care about is Lady Kikyo.” Miroku said.
“B-but…I…I thought we were….”
“I've had enough of your whining!! Destroy her!!” Kikyo commanded. And at once, her former friends charged at Kagome with a lust for blood.
Kagome did the only thing she could do. She ran. Even after all the things they said about her, she couldn’t bring her self to kill her best friends. /She must have them under a spell! That’s why they seem so lifeless. But what am I supposed to do know? I can’t run forever…/
Kagome stopped briefly to encase them in a force shield. It would only last so long as she was in range, but she could get herself to a safer distance until the charm wore off. And with that, Kagome ran for her life.
