‘I don’t want to go, I don’t!’

‘Rin.’

Simply in saying her name he silenced her.

‘One day, when you are older, you will have to choose.’

Rin hung her head.  She cried.

‘Humans are mean.  They hurt Rin and they say mean things.  Rin wants to be with Lord Sesshomaru.’

Rin looked up.

She was alone.

‘Lord Sesshomaru!’ She screamed. ‘Please, I’ll be good, don’t leave me here!’

But he didn’t answer.

And he never came.
