Chap 1 Down the Well

Kagome's family holds the power of the miko in their blood, but Kagome turned to witch craft using her miko energy to amplify her magic. Her grandfather disapproves but Kagome has done more good work as a witch than a miko.

Souta knows what she is and fully supports his sister. Kagome knows of the well and it's power. She also knows of the demon that was sealed inside it. Mistress Centipede the corpse had been thrown into the well years ago but the demon was not purified and began to regenerate over time. All it needed to revive was feed on a living human.

It tried to lure Souta to the well, and made him peel off some of the seals keeping it locked away. Kagome saved her brother that day and devoted her power and became a high level witch.

She was 16 now and she planned to face the demon. She wore her school uniform with a few modifications. She had a gold charm bracelet she made herself on her right wrist, she wore red knee high socks, and had a bag she enchanted. It had buttons for eyes and it was bigger on the inside.

"Invoke: Seal Removal…" The seals on the well glowed red and popped off the well. With the seals gone Mistress Centipede shot out of the well.

"You, you are the one who possesses the sacred jewel, give it to me!" She flew at Kagome and got repelled by a barrier. "How…?"

"I enchanted this charm to repel demons, I already invoked it's power before coming here, on a lower demon like you it must have hurt." Kagome spoke with a smirk.

"You little witch I'll kill you…" She flew at Kagome, and Kagome kept her cool she reached into her bag and pulled out a small potion. In her hand the liquid glowed inside the vial. She threw the potion at Mistress Centipede. The potion connected and flames coated the demons body.

"Ahh what is this damn you, no this can't be…" She was reduced to ashes and Kagome smiled to herself. 'That was for Souta you vile thing…' Kagome thought. As she approached the well it began to react. "I'm ready." She looked back towards the house. "I'll be back Souta I promise…"

Kagome jumped and passed through the well. She looked up and saw clear skies. "Amazing…" She climbed out of the well and began to wonder the woods, starring at the pure wonder of it all. As she walked she felt drawn in a certain direction.

She soon found the sacred tree the same one on her families land years into the future. Their was a young man dressed in a red robe, he had silver hair and doggy ears, and he had an arrow pinning him to the tree. She felt the jewel react, but she sensed no danger.

"So have you come here to finish me off Kikyo…?" Kagome looked up at the voice and saw golden eyes starring down at her.
