It's All Over but the Crying

Chapter Two Expected January 24, 2010

-------------------

He was sitting in a small room. Six blue chairs lined up and pushed against the white wall, a small tv hung in the corner. It was on, a woman talking about some fire up on the west side. The culprit was believed to be a fire demon who refused to pay his yearly taxes. Some rebellion. He was to be put down immediately. The government had ordered that all demons who killed more than three humans was to be put to death. It was like demons were the new blacks, or the new gays of this millennium. Humans feared anything different from them, and thus the reason for so much of their wars. Oddly enough, the president of the U.S, and the queen of England were believed to have demonic blood in them. Strange, but he wouldn’t be one to know. He’d never been close enough to either to smell. They certainly looked human, but Sesshomaru had recently discovered that looks could be very deceiving. Especially in the year 2013.
”Sesshomaru?”
The demon was torn from his daze, and lifted his golden colored eyes to see a worried woman. Kagome, a dear friend of her brothers. The human stank of his brothers other friend, Kouga. He sneered, showing his white teeth.
“Why on earth are you standing so close?”
She frowned and wrapped her arms over her chest, a little self conscious with his glaring eyes on her. She took two steps back, making the distance a good five feet now. “Happy?” she asked, that frown tainting her appealing features.
“Yes,” he stated turning his gaze away from her. She had wanted to say something, but it seemed lost now having been distracted. She turned her eyes towards the front desk, the man behind it typing vigorously on the computer. She lifted one hand to place on her cheek, her back bending back the slightest. She was worried, she stank of it. The smell of Kouga and fear was... disgusting. Sesshomaru stood up, snatching his suitcase.
“Enough. Standing here will do no good. I’m going home.”
Kagome swirled around to look at him and quickly followed. “Sesshomaru, what if they find him?”
He turned around, his eyes cold and hard. “You expect them to actually look? Kagome he’s a mutt. Not even a pure demon. No one has a care in the world for him, except you.”
“And you! You’re here, that has to count for something,” she asked desperately.
“The press. That’s all. A heartless brother doesn’t make for good business, rightly so when it involves medical supplies and organs.”
“You really don’t care do you?” Oddly, she seemed shocked and a bit agitated.
Sesshomaru waved his hand at her and turned around, “Warn the press! A demon doesn’t care about his damn mutt.” Right... his. He hated the boy, and more so his blood line. Sesshomaru was being a bit of a hypocrite. Saying he only cared because of the press, then turning around and taunting Kagome. Maybe he should invest in a con artist business. He’d be wonderful at that. Lies flying from his mouth like it was air.

He walked out of the police station and headed to his car. His brother had been missing for two weeks now. There was no way that he was going to show up. He was either dead, or in the process of being killed. That was of course, of someone even took him. Inuyasha had been threatening to leave for years, now turning twenty one, he had the guts to hit Sesshomaru and book it. No one had heard of him since. Good thing, because Sesshomaru would have torn him apart for slapping him. His brother was tolerable, but after that... Sesshomaru could have easily snapped him in half without thinking twice. Thank god it wasn’t against the law to kill your own kin, at least for demons. It was a way of life for them, so they had a separate system. It was chaotic at first, but it eventually worked itself out.

Sesshomaru slid in the car, and turned it on. Two weeks. He would have expected Inuyasha to call, or leave some sort of note to his friends, but nothing. Maybe something really was wrong. He pushed it from his mind. Tomorrow was a big day for him. A day that would take his company international. Which would in a short year, make him the richest demon in the world, very close, the richest human. Of course though, demons paid more to live in America than the average human. Safety issue, they said. He didn’t care. It didn’t put a big dent in his pocket.

When he reached home, he went to bed. His house was empty, as usual. He hadn’t expected it to be full though, ever. Mating was out of the question, he just didn’t have time to shower some stupid woman with affection. He was to focused on his work. Sleep came easily to him, and dreams didn’t come, as usual for this demon.

“Let me go! Please!” Anyone brave enough to torture him for this long, earned his begging. He’d been hanging here since he woke up. Who knew how long ago. He was cold, and sore. His strength did nothing against the chains. If he were stronger, he’d be able to get out of this mess, but no... he was a mutt.
“Please, please,” a deep, rough voice mocked. “Come now Inuyasha, you can’t give up so quickly.”
Inuyasha frowned, his ears pulled back, his eyes narrowed. A spark of fury came to him. He’d asked, so why was this ass not letting him go?
“I’ll kill you! You bastard!”
“How do you suppose you’ll do that? Hm? All tied up?”
Clearly Inuyasha hadn’t thought his threat through. He swung his legs a bit, twisting and bending, jerking his hands. Nothing. It only hurt him more. Who ever it was that was torturing him, moved closer and rested his hand on Inuyasha’s bare bottom. Inuyasha growled and moved to kick his leg back but something sharp dug into his foot. Inuyasha cried out from surprised, jerking his foot back. The man took both feet, and wrapped something around them.
“What are you doing?” He asked, demanding to know.
The man only chuckled and pulled his hands away. A crushing weight yanked at his feet pulling his hands. He was being stretched out by whatever was pulling his feet. He could hardly breath let alone move. Those hands brushed against his bottom. ”Apologize to me Inuyasha.”
“Fuck you!”
The weight grew heavier. Inuyasha groaned out, his muscles stretching.
“Apologize.”
“N-no!”
The weight increased, and his shoulder popped. Inuyasha screamed trying to break the bonds he was in, with no luck. He yanked hard, whimpering. His ears laid flat on his head.
“P-please...”
“I don’t hear an apology Inuyasha.”
Inuyasha cried out again, his back straining, arms and legs pulled as far as they would go, he felt like he was about to burst. “I’m sorry!”
The weights lessened, and the chains dropped, sending him crashing to the floor. He groaned, rolling to his side, his limbs limp. “Good boy. Lesson one is complete.” The man laughed and left the pitch black room. Inuyasha was to tired to care where, to sore to care why. He closed his eyes, and sleep came to him fast. Someone was looking for him, right? Someone had to be looking for him. He would be found, and then...he could go home.

.... right?

“Wake up.”
The same voice, the same wake up call, the same ice water poured on him. Inuyasha could never get use to the water, but the voice that never left him alone, day and night, was starting to become the only thing he knew. He pulled himself to all fours, his body aching from the night before. Whatever this man did to keep him from healing quickly was taking it’s tole on him. He pulled himself to his feet, swaying a little. The salt stuck to his back reentered the wounds that covered him. He moaned in pain, but didn’t dare say anything.
“You slept well?”
“Yes Sir.”
“Sir??”
Inuyasha felt his heart flutter with fear. Was Sir not correct? Was he not suppose to say that? He thought he was given two choices? The man chuckled, and Inuyasha calmed. He dropped his gaze, looking at the floor. Even though he couldn’t see anything, the man demanded he kept his gaze down. In a way, Inuyasha was glad that he didn’t see the mans face. It left room to wonder when he was being raped, or... pleasuring this man. He could pretend it was an old crush, or someone he knew to ease the pain. He’d always thought he was straight, but as sick as it sounded, when he was being touched and while he was pleasuring this man, he was aroused. He didn’t like being raped, it was personal to him. He deal with it though. The first time had been the most painful. It had been his punishment, for not behaving. Inuyasha tried to behave after that.

“Your training is almost finished. Are you proud of yourself?”
Inuyasha couldn’t answer. No, he wasn’t but if it meant his possible freedom? He’d never be the same after this, but... at least he’d be free.
“Well?”
“Yes...sir.”
The man stepped behind Inuyasha, grabbing his ears, he yanked Inuyasha back and brought his knee up to make a rough contact with Inuyasha’s spine. He cried out, falling to the floor, his hand pressing hard on his lashed up back. He started trembling, fear quickly overcame him. In a few long painful months, Inuyasha learned that this man’s threats were carried out. Inuyasha was missing the tip of his ear as proof.
“I’m going to mark you today Inuyasha. A trained boy. Ready?”
“Please, please let me go. I’ve done everything you asked. I’ve been a good boy, please!”
“Yes, you have. That makes no difference now though. You still have to be marked.”
Inuyasha whimpered, crawling away to the corner. He learned the room quickly, even if there were no lights. The man walked to him and grabbed his ear, yanking him up. He released him, but Inuyasha stayed standing. The man placed something thick and heavy over his eyes. Inuyasha was being taken out of the room. As much as he hated this room, the only thing that waited past those doors was more pain. Inuyasha was cuffed, and a leash placed around his neck. The man didn’t ever use a collar. He was pulled out of the room, and down a long hall. There were a few short turns. Inuyasha didn’t recognize it. It wasn’t the punishment room, that was on the left. He felt his body tremble. He still had a small spark, but with every punishment, it was fading. He was growing more dull, more submissive. Inuyasha was giving up.

“Stop.” Inuyasha did as told, and waited. A few minutes later, the cuffs were taken off and he was lead to what he believed to be a metal table. He yelped at the cold, but quickly got use to it. He was set on his back, the metal hurting his wounds, yet at the same time, the coolness eased the heat he felt. He closed his eyes, knowing there was no use in trying. His hands were tied first, then his legs. He tugged just to test. He could hardly move them. He arched his back, wiggling.
“Be still.”
Inuyasha growled softly but did as told. He quickly regretted it, feeling a sharp sting hit his stomach. He flexed, and gasped out. He cried out when the next one hit.
“I’m Sorry! Please! I’m sorry!”
“And?”
“I wont do it again Master, please! Stop.”
The man burst into laughter, giving Inuyasha one more for good measure.
“Good boy. I suppose I’ll forgive you, but only because it’s a special day.”
Inuyasha felt his eyes water. The emotional stress was getting to him. He was so helpless, and nothing he did was good enough, what was worse...he was still here. No one had found him. Were they still looking? Did they give up on him? What if they thought he didn’t even leave?

Inuyasha was snapped out of his daze when he smelt a fire. There was a fireplace here? He nibbled on his bottom lip, wondering what else was around. He sniffed the air. The smoke was so strong it covered anything else. That meant the fireplace was close. Was the man going to burn him? One of his limbs? He gave a soft whimper of confusion, jerking at the restraints once.
“Didn’t I say to be still?” He heard his ‘master’ moving things around.
“I’m sorry! I’m just scared, please don’t hit me again...”
The man slapped him with whatever he had the first time, a vicious sting hitting him. He screamed out, panting hard. He could feel his crimson blood trickling down his side. After that, Inuyasha stayed silent. His mind flew to different possibilities of escape. He behaved, but only enough to get him by. He knew that, and he was starting to run out of ideas because of this. This ‘training’ the man called it. It was getting to him. It hadn’t fully taken control, but he was rebelling less and less. He could feel himself leaving him. He could feel his body retreating, his mind turning. He hated it.

His ‘master’ moved, his ears perking up a tad to listen. He could hear metal against metal, the logs or coals in the fire turning. It took everything he had to keep perfectly still. He bit down on his tongue to keep himself from saying or asking something. Inuyasha felt cold hands on his inner thigh, then... without warning heat. Pain pulsed through his entire body, though the focus of the pinch was on his inner thigh. He could smell the flesh burning. Inuyasha bit down on his tongue and screamed jerking his body to get away. He was strapped down tightly, so movement was none, not that it mattered. He cried out, tears coming to his eyes. “Stop! Please! God it hurts!” Inuyasha sobbed, his heart beating fast. He was almost sure the man could hear him. When the pain left, he was still trembling, a throbbing ache taking control. He groaned and whimpered, jerking his hands every now and again as if to touch the wound. Not that it would do any good.
“There, see? I told you today was special.”
Inuyasha was to focused on the sting to make a smart remark. Cold, long fingers touch across his chest, causing the slave to whimper.
"Yes... you'll do just fine Inuyasha."
