Gang Related


“Boys I want the two of you to shape up this year and stop wearing all those ripped up and disgusting clothes.”

Izayoi was trying her best to get her son and stepson to dress normally but she was having a hard time. Every time she threw away all their clothes and bought new ones they just threw her clothes away and bought new ones with the money from their personal accounts. Sesshomaru she really couldn’t do anything about since he wasn’t her child but Inuyasha was no better in terms of listening to her and he was her son. Besides she dared not throw out Sesshomaru’s clothes again even if she could get into his room. He had gotten tired of her throwing away his clothes like she was his mother and had a scanner personally installed for his room and only the people who’s configurations were in the scanner could even get within two feet of his bedroom door.

“You know I will not listen to you so leave me alone woman. You forget that you are not my mother nor could you ever be.”

Sesshomaru’s cold tone of voice made her flinch and look to her husband Touga Taisho for assistance but he was no better then Sesshomaru considering he was the gang leader of the gang the Fanged Assassins which was technically two gangs made into one though he ran both gangs. Sesshomaru was his second in command for the Assassins because they like him all demanded perfection and were the best damn assassins in Japan. Inuyasha was his second for the Fangs because while they were nowhere near as secretive about their actions as Sesshomaru’s group, they were very much so just as efficient. Said boys left out of the kitchen and headed out the door. As soon as the door opened Kagome, Sango, Kirara, Rin, Kikyo, and Kanna walked in the kitchen and stepped to Touga’s side waiting. He looked them over and nodded their style was very much like his sons only none of these girls were his pups and all of them had priestess powers though they were all demon as well.

“Girls I had all of you moved to Sesshomaru and Inuyasha’s school go there and hook up with them in the parking lot they will give you orders for the day and tonight we’ll all meet at the base.”

They nodded and in seconds were gone heading toward the school that Sesshomaru and Inuyasha had just arrived at. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha both wore ripped up blue jeans and black tennis shoes. Sesshomaru’s wife beater was black; Inuyasha’s red and both were somewhat baggy instead of tight fitting. Kagome, Sango, Kirara, Rin, Kikyo, and Kanna walked over to them and waited silently each of them eyeing the son’s of their leader, though they had never seen them before they knew who they were from scent alone. All of them wore black booty shorts and black NIKE boots with t-shirts that hugged their chests tight enough to distract guys but loose enough to hide the guns in their waist bands and the small daggers they wore in their waist bands as well. Kagome wore a black shirt, Sango burgundy, Kirara dark purple, Rin red, Kikyo dark green, and Kanna dark gray.

“Introduce yourselves wenches.”

Inuyasha instructed and Sesshomaru saw Kagome’s brow twitch and her hand, ball into a fist.

“I’m Kagome the leader of our small group and technically we’re here to talk to Sesshomaru seeing as all of us are assassins not sloppy little idiots. In order following me the rest are Sango, Kirara, Rin, Kikyo and Kanna.”

Inuyasha was about to say something but Sesshomaru cut him off seeing as he insulted them first, not that he really cared.

“My group is nothing but the elite you will have to prove yourselves.”

Kagome and the rest nodded.

“Well whenever your ready to see our strength let us now, but Lord Taisho told us you had orders for the day for us.”

Kagome sent her group over to their bikes when Sesshomaru pulled her to the side to talk privately.

“Your group is to come with my group to classes today each of your girls will be paired with one of my men and they will act as if they are dating my men. We need to see if we can find away for at least two of your girls to infiltrate Miasma. If they get in they will have been tested thus far. You are to stay with me you can pair your girls with who you think they’ll work best when my group gets here in three minutes.”

Kagome nodded and went to her group to tell them the instructions they had been handed. All of the girls were ready each of them having been training for gang life for a minimum of twelve years their fathers all having been at Lord Taisho’s side when he was nothing but a soldier in the one of the old gangs that had long since disbanded. Just as she finished informing them of everything a small group of guys pulled into the parking lot in a varying array of cars. Kagome and her girls leaned against their bikes and waited. Five guys climbed out of the five cars that had pulled into the parking lot. They all headed over to Sesshomaru immediately. Immediately each of the girls knew who she wanted to be going with and Kagome would have laughed if she weren’t so unused to the action itself. Sesshomaru indicated for them to come over and they walked over; Inuyasha they noticed having started talking with his own group.

“They’ve been informed of the situation?”

Kagome nodded and nodded to her girls each of them going to who they wanted to be paired with. Sesshomaru nodded and started introductions for his men.

“The kitsune next to Kirara is Shippou, the holy inu next to Sango is Miroku, the seemingly human elemental next to Rin is Bankotsu, the thunder demon beside Kikyo is Hiten, and the white wolf next to Kanna is Mouso.”

Kagome nodded and looked each of the guys over nodding slowly.

“I’m going to give each of you a heads up, though we keep it where our holy energy can not be sensed each of us is a priestess. I’m shadow inu youkai as is Sango and Kikyo, Kirara is a fire neko, Rin is a blood lion, and Kanna is a void demon. We each have holy powers that are just as strong as our youki and trust me when I say if my girls feel threatened be it by you or an enemy they will fight you until they no longer feel threatened, your dead, or they themselves are dead. If I have to revive any of my girls because they’re dead because of any of you your head will meet the ground before the rest of your body.”

They each looked at her like she was crazy and she smirked and shrugged.

“Test the warning if you like just because I can revive people doesn’t mean I’ll revive you. Girls.”

Kagome, Sango, Kirara, Rin, Kikyo, and Kanna let their auras swirls around them. Kagome’s aura was just as big and strong as Sesshomaru’s and none of her girls were far behind her. She nodded and again all of their holy energy was sucked out of the air as if they were demons only and had no holy energy. Shippou spoke up first after the shock of how strong the girls were wore off.

“How did you girls get here?”

Kagome pointed over at their bikes and Shippou’s eyes widened.

“Can I?”

She nodded and he followed by the others walked over and examined each bike completely. They were all made to be faster then any vehicle on the road be it two wheels or four and they defiantly were all of them having two Nos(nitrous) canisters hooked up to them though they weren’t ever really used.

“Where the hell did you get these?”

Kagome and Sango smirked and raised their hands in mock gesture, though they were playing.

“We made them me and Kagome that is.”

Miroku looked over at Sango and then Kagome as they both leaned against their respective bikes.

“Damn, I’ve never seen work like this done on any piece of machinery.”

Sango blushed a small bit and Kagome again almost laughed.

“Sango’s our mechanic she’s the best. Kirara’s our computer expert, and Rin is our weapons master.”

Each smirked a bit at the awed looks that came over the men’s faces. Sesshomaru walked over after hanging up his phone having been talking with his father.

“Shippou load their bike’s onto your truck you got ten minutes, Bankotsu did you get the schematics of the building?”

Bankotsu nodded and went to his car and pulled out a small laptop he clicked a few buttons and handed it over to Sesshomaru he nodded and handed it back. Kirara plucked the laptop from Bankotsu’s hands and sat it on her bike seat and in five minutes had another set of schematic’s up on the screen she handed it back to Sesshomaru.

“What’s this?”

“The schematics for all of their getaway passages and hidden tunnels on each floor and where they lead and all that bullshit. I cased this building at least six months ago after they took…”

Kagome shot her a look and she immediately went quiet. No one spoke as Sesshomaru turned and looked at Kagome for an explanation. When she didn’t give one he handed the laptop back to Bankotsu and told him to save the new information and talk to Kirara about anything more on the building that they might not know. He then grabbed Kagome and led her well out of earshot of the others and even stepped behind the building so they couldn’t be seen.

“Explain Kagome.”

“That I do not have to explain Sesshomaru nor will I.”

He grabbed her arms and pushed her roughly against the building.

“You will tell me what that was about onna.”

“If you really wanna know ask your father he knows the story though he will probably tell you it is my and my groups personal information and not in need of being shared unless we wish to do so.”

Sesshomaru growled low and leaned into her his mouth close to her own and his nose almost touching hers.

“You will tell me what this is about Kagome or you will look else where for gang membership.”

Kagome shrugged and stared him dead in the eye.”

“You need us and even if you tell us you will not let us be a part of your group I’m sure you father might let us just be our own group and besides you need us not the other way around.”

“Then take your girls and leave, I’ll inform my father of the changes.”

Kagome nodded and when he released her went to her girls Kirara who had uploaded all of the information she had on the building onto Bankotsu’s laptop deleted it all upon seeing Kagome’s face and since she hadn’t verbally told him anything didn’t have to erase his memory.

“Girls, pack up we’re gone.”

Each girl nodded and shrugged silently they all jumped onto Shippou’s truck and revved their bikes then one by one with Kagome in the lead they sped off jumping off the back of Shippou’s truck. They were gone from view in a matter of moments and when Sesshomaru appeared before them again he told them to head into classes and then got in his car and peeled out of the parking lot heading back to the manor to talk with his father. He walked into the manor and growled something was off he had been sure of that when his father didn’t pick up his phone. He saw the bullet holes in the door and the shot out lock. He did smirk when he saw that ten bodies lay around his door his security system having been their executioner. He scented the air for his father’s scent and smelled his father’s immense anger before his scent vanished out the door. He heard noise within Inuyasha’s room though and went in to see who was inside.

Izayoi lay on the ground bleeding profusely and sobbing hysterically, he turned around and left the room before she could see him and hurried out of the manor. He froze when he saw his father and Kagome and her group pulling up. Touga was on the back of Kagome’s bike and it was only when he saw Kagome fall while getting off her bike after Touga that he noticed she was hurt. Touga kneeled at her side and Sango and the others pulled him back from her and as soon as he was far enough away a swirling void of healing energy enveloped her and in seconds she was on her feet and scowling at her now ruined t-shirt. She pulled the shirt off and pulled another from her pack. After using the ruined one to wipe the blood from her stomach.

“Stupid jackasses grew half a damn brain. It would seem they have bullets charged with holy energy now.”

Touga looked over at Sesshomaru and nodded. Sesshomaru pulled out his phone and sent out a page to all his boys and Inuyasha telling them to get to the base. Touga had enjoyed riding Kagome’s bike and asked her if she would ride with Sesshomaru so he could drive her bike. She nodded and handed him the keys with a real smile on her face that was neither mocking nor malicious. He took the keys and thanked her, Kagome reminded him to not hit the Nos button and he nodded and revved the engine. Kagome walked over to Sesshomaru’s car and waited, he unlocked the car doors and they both climbed inside and headed to the base behind everyone else.

“Sorry about earlier but it is none of your business.”

“You wish to work with me but with hold information from me that is inappropriate.”

“I would agree if it were information essential to the gang or mission but it is neither and so qualifies as personal information.”

Sesshomaru scoffed and Kagome sighed.

“Look I’m not going to argue with you Sesshomaru but as it stands your father wants my group to merge with yours and if we can’t get along that will not happen like he wants it to.”

Sesshomaru sighed softly through his nose and glanced at her.

“What do you propose we do then?”

“I have a beach house maybe an hours drive from the base depending on how fast you drive. Why don’t just me and you go there and get to know each other outside of the gang this way you’ll see where I’m coming from when I say things and I’ll be able to see where your coming from when you say things?”

“That is fine we can go after the meeting, I think father has grown attached to your bike so he will not have a problem holding it for you.”

Kagome smiled a small bit.

“I have another he can have that one if he wishes it.”

Touga who had dropped back beside them intending to tell them to talk caught Kagome’s last comment and knocked on her window. She rolled it down and smiled when he took her hand.

“I thank you for the gift and if you’ll allow it I will take you as my mate for giving me such a gift.”

Sesshomaru growled and Kagome for the second time since being a child smiled shaking her head softly, Touga smiling lecherously.

“I’m sorry kind Lord but I am not the one who wishes to be your mate. That dream lays with one of my girls, I have another on my mind.”

Touga’s eyebrows rose and he squeezed her hand lightly asking who it was she was speaking of. She flicked her eyes in Sesshomaru’s direction without turning around and Touga nodding smiling.

“I suppose that is fine but who has such thoughts of me?”

Kagome giggled and looked out the front window and pointed at Kanna who was currently riding her bike backward showing her ass with Sango who was doing something of a handstand on her handlebars. Touga smirked and released her hand and again rode to the front of the group leading them off their current street and into an abandoned underground parking structure. They passed through a barrier and then the image of a collapsing underground structure vanished and in its place was a grand castle like building. Touga parked and they all followed suit and climbed off of their bikes and exited the car. Kagome looked at the structure with wonder as did the rest of the girls they had reached the door when the roar of the rest of the guys cars reached their ears and they all came through the illusion and parked their cars, Inuyasha and his boys right behind Sesshomaru’s boys.

“Come we have a great deal to discuss.”

They could all hear the frustration in Touga’s voice and followed him to the dining room, which was where they discussed everything because it had the seats to house everyone easily. The girls held back knowing each of them had specific seats. They saw no extra seats and Shippou, Bankotsu, Hiten, Mouso, and Miroku smirked and motioned for the girls to come to them the girls looked over at Kagome who nodded when Sesshomaru motioned for her to come to him as well. They headed to their respective person and wasn’t the least bit surprised when they were pulled down into said persons lap. Kagome said nothing and waited for the meeting to get started.

“It would seem that not only is the police getting a hell of a lot smarter to be using bullets with holy energy in them but that we have a problem with the building that wasn’t there before Bankotsu do you have the schematics I asked for?”

Bankotsu nodded and again passed his laptop or at least tried to. Again Kirara took his laptop as it was going pass her and uploaded all the schematics she had on the building. Then allowed it to finished being passed up to Touga. He looked a small bit confused at first then smiled.

“Nice work both of you. Bankotsu hook this up to the projector then I want you to explain the layout you got and Kirara to explain the ones she already had so everyone understands.”

Both nodded and after hooking everything up Bankotsu waited for everyone to quiet down again.

“Okay the floors are color coded like this due to the strength of those posted on the floor. The red floors are the floors where the strongest of the soldiers are. They split them up into three groups so that you least expect it so the strongest soldiers are on the first floor the fifteenth floor and the thirty-first floor the floors in between them house the weaker soldiers and on the thirty-second floor is where Takishi is.”

Kirara stood and spoke next but all of them noticed her eyes never strayed from the thirty-second floor.

“Okay these are all the escape routes and each one can easily be infiltrated if you have the right equipment which doesn’t exist yet. Sango you’ll handle that before the week is out right?”


Sango smirked.

“Gimmie till day after tomorrow it’ll be done.”

Kirara smirked.

“These are the hidden passages Takishi has that goes to each floor as mentioned before these can be easily infiltrated. This is the one area we’ll have to worry about there’s a control panel that goes directly to Takishi’s office. The room itself has camera’s everywhere and there are NO blind spots at all. The only way to get through this room is to be invisible and in a white room that has a floor made of sensors that are pressure sensitive the only people who can go through there are Sesshomaru and Kagome. The only issue for the two of you being that neither of you can turn invisible. Even you Kagome though you can become a shadow the fool wizened up and turned the room into a white room like I mentioned before. I still haven’t been able to figure out where the power for that room or his office comes from. Even if I cut power to the whole building those rooms power would remain. Only…only he could get through and I swear I’m gonna get him back if I gotta-”

“Kirara silence.”

Kagome spoke with a damn sharp tongue and Kirara immediately went silent wincing at her tone. Sango touched Kagome’s shoulder uncertainly.

“Kags, they need to know about him or else they won’t understand when we separate from them once inside.”

Kagome looked Sango and the others in the eyes for a long moment before she closed her eyes and sighed heavily.

“I’ll only tell this story once and I will not be interrupted if you wish to hear the whole story.”

Everyone remained silent and again she sighed.

“My brother Souta is a shadow demon as well and like me he figured out a way to make our shadow form turn into light going against our very nature. He had cased this building perfectly as you can see. He could sustain the change longer then I can even though I’m the stronger of the two of us and so he went through the light room and purposely left me on the other side of the room having sensed the danger on the other side. Takishi has my brother and has had him for the last seven months. We…I cannot get across that room. As it stands my brother is alive but he will be dead unless I can get to him before the new moon in two weeks time. Our powers as shadow demons allow us to dwell in the shadows for months at a time depending on our strength. Souta is strong enough that his powers allow him to remain in shadow form for close to eight months, while I can stay in shadow form for a year before I’m forced back into my body. Eight months will be up in two weeks. Takishi trapped my brother in the light room and he is unable to leave said room unless some one opens the door to the room. But his powers will be so weak by now he will not be able to move. Inuyasha you and the others in your group will be needed to handle Takishi’s soldiers. A potion will be made so that you will not lose your demonic powers on the new moon, if you agree to help.”

Everyone was silent following Kagome’s story; she felt Sesshomaru’s hold around her waist tighten a bit and looked at him for a moment before standing and walking from the room. Sango, Kirara, Kikyo, Rin, and Kanna followed her out. Touga looked over at Sesshomaru and he nodded and stood.

“I want all of my men to start training you are not permitted to stop training until I tell you so outside of stopping to eat, sleep, and use the bathroom. Dismissed.”

He turned and left the room and his boys left out behind him. Touga looked down at Inuyasha who looked to simply be in awe of the possibilities. Touga dismissed his men and told Inuyasha to move up to his left hand side. They were silent for a moment, before Touga spoke.

“I want you to help her Inuyasha, is that understood?”

“Yes…is such a thing really possible?”

Touga nodded a grim look on his face.

“But at great cost to the maker…to make that potion is to give away your own life energy to sustain something else. The amount of life force taken depends on the cause but for what she needs you to do the cost will be great indeed.”

Inuyasha nodded numbly and left the room behind Touga who went to shower and rest. Inuyasha caught Kagome just as she was about to climb into Sesshomaru’s car with him.

“I’ll do it but promise me that neither you nor one of the girls will make the potion. I wish for you to have someone else make it…I know it’s cost and you need not suffer that on my account otherwise I will go as a human.”

Kagome stared at him with wide eyes.

“You will have your potion Inuyasha by someone outside of my group or I myself will secure you to this building so that you might not be harmed in my attempt to save my brother.”

Kagome with a small smile kissed his cheek then eased into Sesshomaru’s car and closed her eyes as Sesshomaru shot out of the barrier and onto the highway following Kagome’s directions as she gave them. Kagome stared out the window thinking of her brother as Sesshomaru drove. She turned and looked at him when he grabbed her hand. She held his hand as well but couldn’t help but ask why he was doing it.

“We have school tomorrow we may have ducked it today but tomorrow will be the real deal.”

Kagome released his hand rubbing her arms as she again turned her attention to outside the window. Sesshomaru glanced over at her and though she was shielding her emotions so that he couldn’t read her, he thought she looked sad and maybe a little hurt. But he said nothing figuring she would speak to him about it if she felt like sharing the information. He stopped outside the beach house she indicated and nodded his head slightly not that she could see him. It was a fairly nice beach house, honestly though. Kagome got out of the car and pulled her key ring from her waist and opened the door. She went to the kitchen and checked the refrigerator and gave a weak half smile when she saw that her refrigerator was full meaning her trusted friend Keade had come and filled it for her. She pulled out the iced tea and poured herself and Sesshomaru a cup and handed him his cup after putting the tea away. He followed her down a few hallways to her room and saw her sit her tea down on the nightstand before lying out across her bed.

“You can have any room you wish except the one to the right of mine.”

He nodded and when he left her room Kagome stripped out of her clothes and changed into her bathing suit going out and standing on the small dock that reached out over the water. Sitting on the edge of the dock she let her feet sit in the water and swung them from side to side slowly. She slipped off the edge and into the water after a while and let herself sink as deep as she could. Her eyes open and watching everything around her. She swam down over the small bit of coral that was by the reef. Brushed her fingertips over the sharp jagged edges, painting the water a murky red with her blood. She swam further from the shore and stayed close to the oceans floor even as it sloped down until she could go down no further do to the pressure.

She closed her eyes and thought of her mother who had been a beautiful silver dolphin youkai. Her eyes had been the clearest deepest blue and her hair a long silvery blue that was more blue then silver. She’d had a soft gentle smile and had been the most caring woman she had known but like most things killed by humans she had been trapped in a corner and caught in a net. She had run out of air and died. Kagome and Souta had cut through their nets and had been on their way to help her but hadn’t made it in time to save her. When the fishermen pulled them up to the waters surface and onto their boat they had stared at the woman ensnared in their net with cold uncaring eyes and given her and Souta even colder looks as they cried over her body. Their father had come to them and killed all of the men on the boat and thrown their bodies over board into the water for the sharks to feed upon. That had been the day she discovered her ability to revive people a gift she had inherited from her mother like her miko powers. At the time her powers hadn’t been strong enough to do anything but give her back her last few breathes but not enough to reverse the damage done to her body by the lack of oxygen. Her mother had been to weak to heal herself and just like her revival powers her miko powers had been to weak to do her any good though she had tried anyway.

Returning to the surface Kagome saw that she was fairly far out and quickly swam back to shore. She might not have been born a silver dolphin youkai like her mother but she had certainly inherited several of her abilities. She could hold her breath for abnormally long time periods, had a greater resistance to the oceans pressure then she should have had and she like her mother was able to communicate with the animals within the water though she kept these abilities to herself. Only Souta knew about them and he she knew he would never tell anyone without asking her first. She walked up onto the shore to find Sesshomaru sitting on the pier looking out over the water. She sat beside him but neither of them said anything.

“So how do you suppose I’m to see why you think the way you do by being here?”

“By my telling you a little about myself and you doing the same.”

Sesshomaru nodded and looked over at her.

“Why don’t you explain your little swim and not coming up for air?”

Kagome sighed she really did try to keep those abilities gained from her mother her own personal secret.

“That is something I will not explain because I hold the information and memories surrounding that information to close to my heart and am not ready to deal with said memories yet.”

Sesshomaru looked over at her and nodded mutely, before turning to again look out over the water, watching as the sun slowly started to sink beneath the waters surface.

“My mother was killed with I was but a pup…by a human man who she had saved from death. He saw her for what she was and instead of thanking her and being on his way he picked up one of the guns left on the ground in the other mans haste to get away and shot her in the heart. She died instantly, me and father reached her a few seconds after the she was shot and saw the man pointing the gun at her dead body. He was shaking and staring at her with fearful eyes. When father slammed him against the building and demanded he explain himself before he was killed the man pissed himself and sobbed like a broken idiot and said she was going to kill him. He told my father everything and still even after telling us that she had saved him sobbed that she was going to kill him. Father melted him into a pile of soup limb by limb as I gathered my mothers body in my arms and headed home.”

Kagome listened to Sesshomaru speak silently and without realizing it took his hand into her own and squeezed it gently. She decided then that maybe she could share the story of her mother’s death with him since he had shared his mothers with her.

“My brother and me can hold our breath under water for abnormal amounts of time because our mother was a silver dolphin youkai. We were out on the ocean one day on our boat with my father and she took us swimming. She was in her true form but since we can understand the language of all underwater animals thanks to our mother we could understand everything she was saying to us. Some fishermen caught us in some nets and slowly we all started to suffocate, even my mother all of us having been under almost an hour and needing to return to the surface for air. We managed to cut our nets open Souta and me and were trying to cut my mother out of hers when she died. We had just gotten her out but they caught us in another net and pulled us up onto their boat. My mother reverted back to her humanoid form to try and get herself free and so was in that form when she died. They looked at her body with such cold eyes and watched with even colder eyes as we cried over her. My father killed all of them and threw their bodies into the water for the sharks. I tried to revive her but my powers were to weak and only gave her back her last few breaths. I tried to heal her but my powers were to weak and all I did was prolong her suffering instead of letting her rest.”

A stray tear rolled down Kagome’s cheek and Sesshomaru wiped it away silently. Neither of them knew what to say to the other. So they sat silently. Some time passed and the moon was fairly high in the sky when Sesshomaru spoke.

“What of your father?”

“He managed to hold on to life long enough for me and Souta grow up and be able to survive without him before he to passed from the world of the living to the world of the dead. My mother was waiting for him and I think all he waited was to be with her again.”

“What’s the story of your father and Izayoi…Lord Touga doesn’t seem to want her.”

“They mated to cement a treaty between our gang and another gang quite sometime ago. Inuyasha was born of the union but even he hates his mother. She is dead now though.”

Kagome nodded and looked out over the water again.

“Come on I’m sure everyone’s waiting for us to return. I’ll wash and change and we can return.”

“It is unnecessary they know not to expect us till tomorrow.”

Kagome nodded and rose from her place on the dock.

“Let’s go inside it’s rather late.”

Sesshomaru nodded silently and they headed inside both of them showering and washing their clothes Sesshomaru donning just a towel as his clothes washed while Kagome wore a big t-shirt and panties. She laid in her room and thought a moment, She had bought a pack of men’s boxers because she liked wearing them when she didn’t want to wear panties and looked in her dresser for them finding the pack she pulled a pair out and knocked on Sesshomaru’s door. He opened the door in his towel and Kagome for the first time in a long time blushed cherry red and looked down at the floor hastily, making Sesshomaru smirk to himself.

“I bought a pack of these a while ago and haven’t worn any of them…I don’t know if you can fit them but here so you can at least have on boxers.”

She tried to hand them to him but Sesshomaru was laughing to hard internally to really notice and didn’t take them. Kagome schooled her features the best she could and looked up to see the small smile that had worked its way onto his features. She blushed and looked off to the right and grabbed his arm and followed it down to his hand and slipped the boxers into his hand. Sesshomaru who had noticed her little maneuver just shook his head and took them with a soft thank you. Kagome nodded and hurried back to her room. Sesshomaru was surprised to find the boxers fit him like his own would and walked down the hall to her room and knocked. Kagome answered her door and allowed him in though she was again blushing. The phone rung and Kagome picked it up with narrowed eyes.

“Hello?”

“Kagome, my sweet, his times almost up do you have what I want?”

Kagome closed her eyes and sighed softly.

“You’ll have it like I promised. You better not have hurt him or I swear I’ll kill you nice and slow.”

She heard nothing but the dial tone telling her that he had hung up on her. Kagome’s eyes tinted red and her bloodlust started coming to the surface she needed to spar with Sango if she was going to get through her bloodlust without massacring the entire city.

“Drive back to the Manor I need Sango.”

Sesshomaru nodded and Kagome went and grabbed her clothes from the dryer seeing as they were mostly dry already. She slipped on her shorts and shot off in her shadow form a speeding smear of black on the sky. Sango felt her coming as did the rest of the girls and they told everyone to clear the outside training area. Sango readied herself and the second Kagome materialized found herself sailing through the air. She landed in a crouch on the balls of her feet and one hand. When she looked up it was to see blood red eyes staring back at her with a promise of death.

“Shit Kags what happened?”

“He called me.”

That was all Sango need to hear for her own bloodlust to come to the surface and she and Kagome charged meeting in a meeting of fist and feet as they attacked each other full out no bars held between them they took each hit not bothering to block each others attacks. All of them watched them with slight fear in their eyes never had they seen anything like this. Kirara, Rin, Kikyo, and Kanna watched with worried eyes. None of them wanted to have to jump in and break this fight up they had all seen the injuries Souta had sustained whenever he broke them up when they were like this but they had all heard what Kagome said and were fighting their own bloodlust. It was when Sango hit the ground hard and Kagome was about to jump on her that they jumped into action.

“I’m sorry Kags.”

Kirara brought all her energy into her feet and rushed forward and spin kicked Kagome in her chest sending her sailing back and into the base by accident. Kagome hit the wall hard and almost went through it even though it was at least ten feet thick and reinforced with steel walls. Kagome shook off the attack like it was nothing and started zeroing in on Kirara. Kirara didn’t try to run or anything she just took a calming breath and stood firm. Sango was up and on her feet her bloodlust gone thanks to Kikyo and Rin. Kanna walked forward and stood next to Kirara.

“Kags, snap out of it I hate having to contain your soul its to damn big and takes to much damn energy. Please just stop.”

Kagome kept coming her eyes going black so that finally all of them took a step back from her in fear. None of them knew what to do with her. They all transformed and jumped on her hoping to at least be able to hold her down for a while. Kagome’s energy spiked and she sent them all flying with just her energy. Touga walked toward her despite the girls protest and Kagome sent him flying as well. Kagome was suffering inside she could feel him…hear him and she couldn’t help him. She dropped to her knees her hair covering her face, but the scent of tears clear as a bell on the air.

“Stop it, stop it, STOP IT…I give okay…I’ll do it just stop hurting him.”

The girls immediately understood why Kagome was acting the way she was and immediately used their energy to surround her in a barrier that would block all magic being used on her. Kagome collapsed and they all rushed through the barrier to her side. Kanna held Kagome’s body to her chest as Sango and the others scanned her for any lingering traces of the spell. Finding none they dropped their barrier just as Sesshomaru pulled to a stop and came toward them. Sango, Rin, Kirara, and Kikyo growled when they got to close their eyes tinting red as they encircled Kanna who was holding Kagome in her arms Kagome just laying in her hold silently tears rolling down her cheeks.

“Back away from them, NOW.”

Everyone backed away from them except Sesshomaru upon Touga’s order and the girls sniffed toward them still growling low.

“Girls stand down.”

Kagome’s voice was quiet as she forced Kanna to sit her down and release her. The girls all stepped back and stood at attention.

“Go get all your necessary weapons and be back here an in formation in ten minutes.”

The girls vanished leaving Kagome standing before Touga and Sesshomaru with the guys watching her from behind them. Touga was mad at her she was sure of that but she was even more sure that he wanted an explanation. He touched her shoulder and she jumped back immediately on guard before relaxing and apologizing softly.

“Takishi some how got my beach house number and called while I was there with Sesshomaru. He keeps reminding me that my brothers time is almost up…every time he calls he uses some spell that enables him to tap into the connection me and my brother share since we’re twins. Then he tortures him by making the brightness of the room so bright it acts as purifying energy on my brother though he has holy powers as well. I can hear his mental screams within my head and feel his pain as if it were my own. It always drives me into a bloodlust until my head throbs with the pain and screams and I break under the assault. I’m sorry Lord Taisho…but my girls and me will be heading out tonight and none of you can stop us. I will not let him keep hurting my brother even if I have to knock the power for the whole damn city out to get to him.”

Kagome walked to her bike and dropped the concealment on all four of her swords and her daggers. She strapped on all her weapons quickly and whistled. Sango, Kirara, Kanna, Rin, and Kikyo were at her side in seconds.

“Kirara you got your laptop?”

“Yeah.”

“Good I want you to cut the power to the entire city right now.”

“You got it Kags.”

Kirara whipped out her laptop and a matter of ten minutes made the entire city black out.

“Good now lock the controls and make it password protected you know the password already and make sure no one can get through it but us.”

In another two minutes Kirara nodded.

“Good now scan the building and trace the bitch’s building if he still has power trace it and shut it down you got ten minutes.”

Kirara’s fingers blurred as they moved across her keyboard and when she smiled a shit-eating smirk Kagome smirked as well.

“Got it the bitch has no power. I completely broke his system it’ll take him at least three weeks to get through all the damage I just did to his system.”

“Good…girls lets go and we need to do this quickly he knows we’re coming already. Sango you take out the first floor on up to the tenth, Kikyo eleventh through twentieth, and Kirara you take the twenty-first through the thirtieth. Then I want you three to come back here and wait for us if I spike my energy and pull on your auras only then are you to come back to that building otherwise I don’t give a damn if the great KAMI himself came and told you to go back you had better keep your asses here am I understood?”

They all nodded and she nodded back.

“Good Rin and Kanna you two are going to be with me. Rin as soon as I get Souta out of that room you are to bring him back here and Kanna is going to back you up since your attention will need to be focused on Souta. I’ll handle everything else. All of you know how to call me if you need me. Now lets go.”

They all shot off three balls of light and three smears of shadow streaking across the sky. Touga waited until they shoot off to talk.

“Sesshomaru take your men and back her up Inuyasha you do the same. Sesshomaru I don’t care if you have to knock her out to get her back here but she will be coming back here with you and you aren’t to leave that building until you have her understood?”

They all nodded and disappeared gathering their weapons and reassembling in front of him four minutes later.

“Good now go.”

They all shot off and when they got there were blown away by what they were seeing. Sango’s energy was encasing the first ten floors, Kikyo’s the second ten, and Kirara’s the third ten all of their energy a different color. Sango’s was a glowing pink, Kikyo’s indigo, and Kirara’s fire red. They could feel massive amounts of youkai coming from said floors and then suddenly it was all gone and Sango, Kikyo, and Kirara were shooting back toward the base as they were instructed to. What they saw next was impossible in their eyes. Kagome, Rin, and Kanna were spinning smears of light one second and the next they had created a glowing stairwell of energy that led directly to the room of light. Kagome grabbed her longest swords from her waist and rammed them into the buildings walls all the way to the hilt then she held the hilts firmly and told Rin and Kanna to hold tight. Next thing you know a huge explosion of her youki knocked the wall inward sending debris everywhere.

“Souta it’s me where are you I need you to show me where you are.”

She saw a flickering of light in the darkened room and raced toward it being sure to never touch the floor for longer then a few seconds other wise the self powered pressure sensitive floor would activate the explosives and the entire building would be blown to pieces. Sesshomaru appeared out of nowhere behind her and grabbed her by the waist as he stood on his cloud. Kagome glanced at him and nodded quickly before turning her eyes back to her brothers flickering form. When they reached it a few seconds later Kagome spoke in a soft whisper.

“Materialize Souta…I won’t let you fall I promise.”

She felt his hesitation and then he materialized and fell through the air toward the floor. Kagome released Sesshomaru to catch him and they hit the floor hard. Kagome cursed and ran toward the hole in the wall she’d created they’d touched the floor to long.

“Kanna, Rin run and clear everybody out of here even if you have to yank them back by their youki through a wall clear them out, NOW.”

Kanna and Rin dropped to the ground and found everyone trying to surge into the building. They grabbed on to every aura they recognized and yanked them back throwing up a massive barrier around them all. The building blew up seconds later and nothing was visible through the clouds of dust and dirt. Debris was everywhere, but as soon as it stopped falling from the sky Kanna and Rin sent their energy out in search of Kagome and Sesshomaru. They found their energies not to far away. But they also felt another approaching them. Running forward, all of them reached Kagome and Sesshomaru at the same time as Takishi. Kagome dropped her barrier and handed Souta to Rin who took him gently.

“Get going you two you know the plan.”

Kagome’s eyes left Takishi only to hand Souta to Rin and it was then that he attacked her sending her flying through the air like a rag doll.

“You dare defy me Kagome. I fuckin’ made you everything that you are. I took you and your brother in when my brother died. I housed you, clothed you, fed you, and this is how you repay me?”

Kagome wouldn’t scream as he plunged his hand into her chest and squeezed her heart. She on the contrary grabbed his hand and sent a strong surge of purifying energy into him making him pull back. He dropped her and she hit the ground hard coughing blood in small puddles on the ground. She stood shakily and looked at him with unreadable eyes.

“No, you took what wasn’t yours to take and made my life a living hell. You call raping your own niece caring for her? You call beating us until we could no longer stand or even twitch without screaming in pain caring for us? You did nothing for us; you killed me made me cold and unlovable…dirty. You tortured my brother and weakened him to the point of collapse. You were never family, never our uncle only a monster.”

Kagome waited for him to charge her and when he grabbed her throat coughed her blood into his face. She wanted him to do this to kill her to choke her to end her misery. Souta’s face flashed across her mind and then she felt herself land in some ones arms. She looked up and saw Souta smiling at her and Sango, Kirara, Kanna, Kikyo, and Rin surrounding her all of them red eyed and growling.

“Were you really going to let him kill you Kags?”

She just looked away and sighed when she felt Souta’s healing energy course through her.

“Why live when I can never be truly loved the way I want?”

Souta stood them up and shook his head.

“We’ll kill the bastard now and talk later…just the two of us.”

Kagome hugged him tightly and nodded before turning to her girls.

“Girls back up.”

They did as told again hearing Kagome’s sharp tone come back into effect and smiled. Kagome and Souta disappeared and the only indication that they hadn’t disappeared was the sonic boom of their youki that erupted from the contact they’d made with their uncle. They didn’t appear to the naked eye again but for maybe a few seconds in between hits on their uncle who just couldn’t match their speed or power. The hits he landed on them would send them flying but he couldn’t get but one hit every so often. The sky flashed with lightening followed by the boom of thunder a few seconds later, then the sky opened and rain began to fall in torrents. Kagome smiled and looked at Souta who smiled as well, this was no ordinary rain. This was their mother guiding them and their father encouraging them they could feel them in the air and obviously so could Takishi because he paled and tried to back away from them.

Kagome and Souta grabbed hands and walked forward. They could finally end this chapter of their lives and hopefully move on to bigger and better things. Kagome was enveloped in silvery blue light and Souta in cerulean light, then standing on either side of them was their parents their mother at Kagome’s side and their father at Souta’s side. Their father touched both of their foreheads and they sighed feeling his energy become a part of them. Then their mother did the same but instead of her energy becoming a part of them like their fathers they felt they’re bodies and abilities change. Then they heard their mothers voice on the air around them.

“You’ve become silver dolphin youkai like I was. But do not fear your still shadow inu youkai as well now you can be either at any time or mix the two. Be well my loves and know that your father and I love you dearly and will be there to meet you in the afterlife. Kagome do not let your past kill your future and Souta do not let your sister stray from the path of light as she almost did this night. Watch over each other and never forget we love you.”

Then, as soon as the rain and thunder appeared it was gone. Kagome and Souta’s smirks deepened and then all that echoed through the air was the snapping of their uncles’ neck and his screams as his body was purified. Both just stood there for a moment staring up at the sky and smiling. Sango, Kirara, Rin, Kikyo, and Kanna raced over to them Kirara kissing Souta as if he had died and come back to life. But he didn’t care and happily kissed her back. When their lips parts they just held each other and smiled happily. Kagome smiled and looked over at Sesshomaru, and Inuyasha as they walked toward them, their guys behind them. They walked over and to Kagome’s surprise and everyone else’s except the girls Sesshomaru wrapped his arms around Kagome standing behind her his nose resting in her hair. She smiled and rested her hands on his.

“Sesshomaru and the rest of the Fanged Assassins meet my twin brother Souta, my second in command.”

Souta just smiled and winked at her, Kagome laughed for the first time since their mothers death and Souta smiled releasing Kirara to hug Kagome tightly, he whispered how much he’d missed her against her hair but she heard him and hugged him tighter, whispering back that she’d missed him as well.

“Father is awaiting us back at the base.”

Kagome grabbed Souta’s hand and together they encased everyone in their energy and shot toward the base one large silvery blue ball of glowing energy. They landed on the practice grounds and saw Touga walking toward them. He went straight to Kagome and slapped her making her fall back on her ass hard. Souta growled and in seconds had him on his knees.

“Apologize to my sister.”

Touga growled in defiance, no one moved or spoke.

“I know what you agreed to do bitch and you and your group are no longer allowed here in my gang.”

All eyes turned to Kagome except the girls. But it was Sango who spoke, her tone cold and icy.

“You still have him do you not? Is he not still standing with his arms wrapped around Kagome? She agreed to give him to Takishi because it was the only way he would stop slowly purifying Souta. But we had no real intentions of handing him over. Truly the intelligence we thought you had was merely myth. We came to your gang not because he was here, but because our fathers said that should we ever need help after they passed that you were the youkai to come to. Kags what do you wish to do?”

All of the girls and Souta turned to look at Kagome. She turned in Sesshomaru’s arms and stood on her toes and kissed him as deeply as she possibly could. Then she stepped out of his arms and backhanded Touga across his face because he’d hit her. Wrapping her energy around her group she shot off into the night sky and disappeared. Sesshomaru watched the light of her energy orb fade away and only then did he turn and walk into the base and go to his room and close and lock the door even throwing a barrier up so no one not even Touga could enter. Closing his eyes as he lay on his bed he prayed to what ever Kami’s were listening that maybe one day he’d see her again.
