Chapter One

"Isuzu where are you going?" Nagako asked.

"I'll be back stay here something isn't right," I said.

"Isuzu, be careful." I nodded. My short, flowy black and red ornate kimono trailing behind me as I transformed into my demon form. I ran out of the castle my parents once ruled in three months ago. Now my parents were dead because of a man named Sesshomaru. I unlike my brother saw him murder them and unlike my brother I sought revenge. I left my palace because I smelled his scent he was near by. That bastard would pay this time. I took a great leap and made my way to the clear plains. The wind was rapidly blowing. I transformed back into my human form,

"Sesshomaru!" I shouted. He stood emotionless like normal.

"What makes you think you can beat me?" He asked. I grasped my hilt and pulled out my sword.

"This is where you parish Sesshomaru."

"Hmph. Foolish woman, if you think you can defeat me," He said coldly. I growled and ran towards him as he placed his hand on his hilt. Right as I raised my sword above my head to strike I had someone shove me out of the way. I transformed into my form and snarled at the person that knocked me out of the way. Then I realized that my sword was now in my leg. I whimpered and limped.

"Inuyasha how dare you injury the enemy I was sworn to kill?" Sesshomaru asked monotone.

"If it wasn't for me you could have died and I'm not going to let anyone other than me kill you!" He shouted. I howled as I fell to my side and transformed back to my human form. I screamed out as I pulled the sword out of my left thigh. I tossed the sword away from me as the crimson liquid oozed from my leg.

"Damn you half-demon," I shouted weary. Then some human girl ran over to me.

"Are you alright?" She asked. I cringed and ripped a piece of my kimono off and wrapped it tightly around my thigh to try and prevent anymore bleeding.

"I don't need human assistance I'm the Lady of the Eastern lands and my brother shall have your heads!" I snapped as I jumped up putting all of my weight on my right side.

"Yeah right, your brother's probably as weak as you," Inuyasha said.
"Inuyasha stop it!" Kagome shouted.

"This is foolish," Sesshomaru said and un-sheathed his sword.

"Lets end this now."

"Okay, but don't cry when I beat you," Inuyasha said.

"Hmph, don't make me laugh." Then right as they were about to clash my brother appeared,

"I demand this stops now!" The human girl hid behind the half-demon Inuyasha.

"Who the hell are you?" Inuyasha asked.

"I am Isuzu's brother Nagako, leave our land now! We rule this area I demand you leave before I reinforce our allies against you." Nagako stated fiercely.

"I don't believe this land belongs to you fully," Sesshomaru said. I blinked.

Was he crazy? Did he honestly think putting in his opinion would not anger my brother? I thought. Nagako growled.

"Who do you think you are speaking to me like that?" Sesshomaru glared,

"Just as foolish as your sister. I don't want to kill you Nagako, but if you continue to insult my authority. I will not hesitate to kill you." Nagako scoffed,

"You won't lay a hand on me."

"Nagako!" I shouted as Sesshomaru pulled out his sword as well as my brother. Then before I could do anything Sesshomaru struck his sword into my brother's lung cavity. Blood splattered on my face as I cried out,

"Nagako!!"

They say that demons don't have human emotions, I say they are wrong, because I love and I know what pain feels like. Other demons just choose not to allow those emotions show. Two crystal tears rolled down my cheek as my brother fell to the ground, I crawled over to him,

"Nagako, Nagako please don't leave me alone. Please!" I said. He slightly laughed then choked.

"Isuzu, you're too...worried about those close to you...you'll be okay I promise. I love you sister, you're a strong fighter...till we meet again...Isuzu." He whispered. A few more unwilling tears fell as he closed his eyes and went cold then left. I clenched my teeth as I shouted at Sesshomaru,

"You will pay for this!" I looked over to see the half-demon still there with the humans and fox demon. It appeared the one with the half-demon was crying. I growled,

"Don't pity me human!" With that I grabbed my brother's lifeless body, tossed him over my shoulder, grabbing our swords, then left limping off.

"Pathetic." Sesshomaru said re-sheathing his sword, then walking off.

"Hey where the hell are you going!" Inuyasha shouted.

"Away from you." He replied dully. Inuyasha cursed again then left with the gang.

I buried my brother next to my parents behind our castle. There the allies who were once my parents came to me to serve under me. Now I was ruler of the Eastern Lands Lady Isuzu.

Present Feduel Era (Two Years After Nagako's Death)

"My lady you called?" My loyal servant asked.

"Yes Hiroko, please can you fetch my gown?"

"Yes M'Lady," He said fetching her robe. I looked out the window forlornly as rain pattered against it.

"Here you are," He said.

"Thank you Hiroko," I replied. I slipped on my royal robe before descending my throne and walking out into the castle. I sighed as I pondered while wondering the long corridors and finally made it to the Sakura Garden with a pond of koi fish. I stood beside the red railing of the bridge when I felt a presence near by. I didn't care though, my demon guards were very protective of me. They vowed to never let anything to happen to me. I watched with curiosity the koi fish swimming underwater as the sakura petals cascaded from the trees with the light mist. Then I heard the sound of killing, a swift blade piercing through flesh. I turned around my long hair blew back from a slight breeze and there he stood. My enemy. Sesshomaru Lord of the Western lands.

"What do you want? Haven't you destroyed me enough?" I asked with a glare.

"I'm not here to kill you."

"Then what the hell are you here for?" I asked coldly extending my arm out to catch a sakura petal in my hand.

"I'd watch your mouth woman." I glared clenching my fist and the petal in my hand as I spat on his shoes. He glowered and quickly without a blink had his hand around my throat. Then my guards arrived holding swords to his neck,

"Let Lady Isuzu go now!" One commanded. He snarled and let me go,

"I'll be back," He snapped and with that he walked off. Though before he could go too far I threw off my robe letting it soar in the air as I unsheathed my sword and charged towards him. Though he was well prepared to attack me I dodged and sliced his leg and arm open before jumping back to the bridge and re-sheathing my sword next to my brothers. I saw Sesshomaru on his knees but got up none-the-less.

"Sesshomaru, how does it feel to be brought to your knees?" I asked amused. He glared using his finger whip injuring my guards.

"Leave and don't come back foolish demon."

"We'll see who is truly brought to their knees first," He said before using his super speed to get back to his land. I frowned then looked to Hiroko,

"Are you alright?" I asked a bit concerned.

"I'm fine M'Lady but I'll have to get the medical herbs to heal them."

"Very well, I'll be residing in my chamber." He nodded and quickly got the supplies while I walked in silence to my chamber.

What could Sesshomaru want with me? Does he find it amusing to torment me? Why did he even come back here to visit me after two years...I never wanted to see his face again. He sickens me.
